Drop down options don't show up in Blackboard

When in Blackboard, when trying to choose a location (in Blackboard) to move a document to by clicking the "browse" button, nothing comes up.
I haven't experienced this problem with any other websites, but this is a pretty specific instance, too. If I add a document to Blackboard, clicking the "browse" button brings up the files in my computer to choose from.
This doesn't happen when I use Google Chrome, but I really don't want to switch.
I tried searching Help for some answers, and the only thing I could find was 2 years old talking about going to safe mode and disabling add ons. I haven't tried that (because it takes WAY more time than I'm willing to spend right now), and I'm hoping there's a more recent, simpler remedy.
I also tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling, but, from what I can tell, it just installed with the same options/add ons/etc that I had before, so that didn't help. When I did install FF, though, I did say no to all the prompts asking to include add ons...
I am SO frustrated! Please help!!!!!!!!
PS, this problem is not something just anyone can view on the Blackboard website - I am a professor and have a log in, as would anyone to have access to the site....

I appreciate the help, but no, unfortunately, it doesn't work. I copied over my profile to my desktop and created a new profile. Once it was created, when Firefox opened, it just kept opening in my default profile. I clicked/unclicked the "ask on start (or whatever it says....)," but it still didn't ask me. I deleted the default keeping just my new profile (making sure I was deleting the one in the old location - not the copied version I made when I started this process), but now I keep getting an error message saying that Firefox is still running and I have to restart. I've done that 4 times (restarted) and still keep getting the same message. I've tried looking on task manager and nothing shows up. I'm so frustrated..... It's been 2 hours.
I'm in Chrome right now, thinking about maybe going in and resetting Firefox to the original/factory settings (I saw that option in there), but that would mean I'd have to actually get on Firefox, which just isn't happening right now.
Not sure what to do, but I am going to take a break and just hang out with Chrome for a while because WAY too much time spent doing this today....
Thanks again for your help. My fan status with Firefox is dwindling quickly....

    Ever since I upgraded to the new Firefox, my drop down options are limited for example when I need to select a birth date it only shows up to the 20th.
    Makes it really difficult for me to do everything especially for university.. I have to use another computer or browser but I really don't want to move from Firefox so I'm holding on!
    I have tried taking off add ons, uninstalling and safe mode. Nothing worked. It only happened after I updated.

    hi gurus,
    am Created  an iView with a  drop down selection option.
    for example
    <b>Display as : Table
                    : Chart</b>
    it's working fine and displaying in the output as per the selection in the Drop down list.
    my Question is it's working in the <b>REVERSE</b> order also i.e. Once the table or chart is displayed ..If i am double clicking on the TABLE view,  AUTOMATICALLY it's changing to Chart view and vice versa. WHICH I DON"T WANT.
    it should work in ONE way only i.e. as per the Drop down selection.
    Can any body help  to solve it.

    Ok, here is what i have done.
    taken a datasource-->frm DS output >created an form view with drop down options (table and chart)>from the the <b>output of form view</b> --> created both a Table and chart outputs with required visibility condition.As i mentioned it's working fine BUT the revesre also working.
    please suggust where i have to correct.

    Illustrator CC - Tools not allowing access to drop-down options
    For example, I want to change the shape from rectangle to an oval, the press and hold on the rectangle shape (by default) will not give access to other shape options.  Or, for another example, the text tool won't allow access to type on path options.
    Can anyone help me out on this? I running a very new PC and Illustrator CC (latest copy).

    The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
    If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
    1) Close down Illy and open again;
    2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
    3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
    4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
    5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
    Even more seriously, you may:
    6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

    Hi, I created a project using product Upgrade Assitant for Release 12. I did not add any customized tasks. I just need to run the default tasks for upgrading 11i to r12. I did the setup following Maintenance Wizard User Guide Release 2 without any problem. But when I try to run the steps, the category drop down list only show one task: Configuration.     Hi, Thank you for the reply. I did successfully finished all the 4 tasks for the configuration category without any errors. I want to continue with other tasks. But the drop down list does not show anything else except Configuration. From the user guide:

    • To view the full list of categories applicable to your installation, you must complete all of the steps in the Configuration category. When you complete these steps, you must refresh the lower left pane of your Web browser. The entire list of categories appears.
    What does this mean "you must refresh the lower left pane of your Web browser". I don't see anything to be refreshed. But even after I restarted mw (it must be refreshed now), the category list still now shown.

    i created one ztable in this table i have two fields
    fieldnames are  matnr and indicator.
    now my requirement is i have to keep drop down option for indicator field. when i click on this field it has to show three vales 'X' OR 'Y' OR 'Z'.

    Declare the field value on the selection screen as shown below.
    PARAMETERS: p_matnr LIKE ztable-field AS LISTBOX VISIBLE LENGTH 10.
    and maintain those 3 values(X,Y and Z) at the domain level in that field of the  Ztable.

  • A drop down option asked if I wanted to click on iTunes share and I did. When I shut off my mac there was none of my downloaded music on my iPod Touch 4. It appears to only play while the mac is on, who wants that. Could someone help get this corrected.

    It says it is for iTunes 10, but the same steps apply to iTunes 11.
    To turn off sharing:
    Choose iTunes > Preferences, and click Sharing.
    Deselect “Share my library on my local network.”

  • My drop down options menu is transparent. Why is this happening & how do I fix it?

    Ever since I've upgraded to Firefox 19 from 18 none of my drop down menus work, they're all completely transparent as you can see in the following screen shot: http://i.imgur.com/PvKyZ6K.png
    It's this way in every field in which drop down options appear, including the awesomebar (which is the most annoying).

    Did you try a clean reinstall?
    Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
    Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

    Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
    *Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will lose all personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
    Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    As Standard there are 2 separate search fields for Status.
    One for User Status
    One for System Status
    Are you sure that the other Status value you require are not for other Service Transactions different to the one you are wanting to search on?
    If you need to make a only the User Status for  a given selected Transaction Type, then you would need to make an enhancement to that Component

    Hi,
    As per your requirement, you want supress the drop down specific to the account group for given filed.
    Basically F4 option is coming from the search help defined for that specific field not by the account group. So as long as the serch help designed to that field it will always comes. You can not control that from any field selection keys.

    There are multiple ways. I am not at my Lion machine at the moment, so I am not sure I can remember them all, but here is one: Click on the "Details" button in the upper right corner of the message. If there are image attachments, the drop down menu should appear.
    Or, try right click on the image. I think I saw "Add to iPhoto" in the contextual menu.
