Drop First Schema Provisioned from workspace

Hi,
I have htmldb 1.6 (will upgrade soon :))
I am not able to delete the First Schema Provisioned.
I go in schema to workspace assignment and I do not see the delete button.
How can I change the First Schema Provisioned for a workspace ?
If I go in the Edit Workspace Information, I cannot select another swchema for the First Schema Provisioned. The list of values does not show the other schemas associated with the workspace.
Thanks
Francis.

To answer my own questions...
1. There are instance level settings for minimum (>= 100) and maximum application id. Judicious use of these settings along with the wwv_flow_utilities.minimum_free_flow API and manually deleting entries from apex_040200.wwv_flows_reserved until the packaged apps installer generates the desired id(s).
2. This one appears to be hard-wired into APEX. Manually updating the first_schema_provisioned column in the apex_040200.wwv_flow_companies table to one of the other schemas associated with the workspace seems to do the trick. The installer picks this schema both as the parsing schema for the app as well as the schema to install all the supporting objects.
Hope this helps someone else.

  • Dropping first product from vendor punch-out catalog

    Hi,
We are having classic scenario implemented with GOA on SRM server 5.5 and support pack 9 with CCM2.0.
Currently we are facing an issue for one vendor punch-out catalog. When we are choosing multiple products from vendor catalog,it is dropping first product and bringing remaining products in the shopping cart. We have checked OCI mapping , it looks fine . I have also checked all configuration for catalog call structure. Can anyone answer what could probable reason for this issue?

  • Error - Invalid parsing schema for current workspace id

    Hello,
Users logging into an application occasionally get a strange error: ORA-20104: create_collection_from_query_b Error:ORA-20001: Invalid parsing schema for current workspace ID.
The error occurs during a post authentication process. Does anyone know what could cause these in general or why it might only occur during the first login of the day?

    Scott,
Today the error mentioned in the last post occurred 3 times - the highest number in a single day yet. Also, to add to the dilemma, a new one occurred:
    ORA-20104: create_collection_from_query_b Error:ORA-20101: Application collection exists
Knowing that the create collection process is called from a post authentication process I don't see how that the collection could exist for that session... Any ideas?

  • HspRuntimeException while running the report from Workspace

    Hi
When a user is trying to run a report from Workspace, it prompts teh following error:
Failed to sync with user provisioning. Check Planning log for detailscom.hyperion.planning.HspRuntimeException
The report contains 2 grids, 1 pointing to an ASO application, while second pointing to BSO planning application.
I checked in shared services, the user has the admin access to planning application which is used in the report.
    I tried the following:
Checked access to planning application for the user
    Restarted the planning application services
Where in logs will i be able to find details?
    Can anyone suggest some solution?

    Try option 1 then option2:
Please undertake changes in a test environment. Retest issue and if resolved migrate to other appropriate environments.
    Option 1:
Verify NETDELAY and NETRETRYCOUNT are at least 1000 & 1500 respectively.
    To set NETDELAY and NETRETRYCOUNT:
    1. Open Essbase.cfg located in Essbase\Bin directory.
    2. Add the following entries
    NETDELAY 1000
    NETRETRYCOUNT 1500
    Restart Essbase agent (windows service)
    Option 2:
Please backup the registry before making any manual modification.
    1.) Open the Registry
    2.) Navigate to Local Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters
3.) Add new DWORD Value named TcpTimedWaitDelay, right click and select Modify. Select decimal radio button, type in 30. (The default value of this parameter is 2 minutes. This is how long it will take for a TCP/IP port that was used by the network for a connection to be released and made available again. 30 sec is the minimum allowed by Microsoft)
4.) Add new DWORD Value named MaxUserPort, right click and select Modify. Select decimal radio button, type in 65534. ( The default value is 5000.
This determines the highest port number TCP can assign when an application requests an available user port from the system.
5.) Add new DWORD Value named MaxFreeTcbs, right click and select Modify.
Select decimal radio button, type in 6250. (The default value is 2000. This determines the number of TCP control blocks (TCBs) the system creates to support active connections. Because each connection requires a control block, this value determines how many active connections TCP can support simultaneously. If all control blocks are used and more connection requests arrive, TCP can prematurely release connections in the TIME_WAIT state in order to free a control block for a new connection.)
The above parameters need to be added to the registry on the Planning and Essbase servers. Reboot the servers after the parameters are added.

    - app ID / Name etc.
    - creating the provisioning profile from apple
    - iOS Air app in flash (Only Text "Hello world" with a tween)
Now i have to load the certificates into Flash & enter a password (is it the password that
i entered in the certificate or from my developer account/ Apple ID password? Both didn't work at the end)
When i klick on publish in the last step than it loads a while but then i get the Error:

What is wrong? Can you help me please.

Also, I should say, when I go into my phone on the computer and try to install an app, I get this message:

  • Process Multiple Instances from workspace

    Hi,
In our project we have a requirement, where at a particular actiity the user has only an option to choose yes or no and depending upon the option the next activity woudl be decided. We currently know that a screenflow can be implemented for that activity, using which the user can select the correct option. But for this he would have to open each instance and perform the operation. As there would be many items which need to be worked on at the same time, the users would like to perform the operation directly from the workspace without opening the screenflow. Could we have an option of selecting multiple items from workspace and have an option to process them at the same time depending upon the choice(can be probably displayed along with abort, consult, etc under operations).
    Thanks,
    Sree.

Yes - there's a way that this can be done, but it's not out of the box.
Sure there are other ways that would work just as well, but at a high level - here's an outline of one approach to updating a variable in a list of work item instances that are in a particular activity from one screen:
    1. Add a new BPM Object that has attributes to store the desired new value and a group with an attribute to store a checkbox (Boolean), another attribute to store the instance id (string), another attribute to store the present value
    2. Create a method in the BPM Object to search for the list of all the instances in the particular activity, get their instance id and the current value of the instance variable. There is a pretty common technique called a filter that can be used inside logic to accomplish this. You'd base your filter on work item instances inside a specific process that are currently sitting in a particular activity in that process. You would use the list of work item instances returned to populate the group you created in the first step.
    3. Create a presentation in the BPM Object to display the list of instances in the activity. Display all the items in the group with the selection box in the first column to let the end user select the one or more instances to be updated with the new value.
    4. Add a method to be invoked in the BPM Object once the Submit button on your presentation has been clicked. This method would go through your group and see which items in the list have been selected (the Boolean attribute) and then update each of these variables for each of the work item instances (these would be identified by the instance id also in the group's row for the item selected).
    5. Add a Global activity that will use the BPM Object's presentation to display the list of work item instances to the end user to prompt them to perform the mass variable update.
Hope this helps get you started,
    Dan

  • Dynamic query to drop apps schema

    Hi,
We are having a test ERP instance and we are refreshing it with ERP PROD export data through import on ERP test instance.
Now we want to drop all Oracle apps schema only in our test instance and through Import they will get created again.
Is there some dyanmic query through which i can drop only all apps schema.
    Please help it is urgent.
    Your help is appreciated.
    Regards,

Now we want to drop all Oracle apps schema only in our test instance and through Import they will get created again.
Is there some dyanmic query through which i can drop only all apps schema. You cannot drop apps schema only due to data/object dependencies, so there is no such a query as your approach is not supported.
The only supported way is to install a new fresh database (standalone database), and export all EBS schemas from any other instance and import it to this new database. Or, use Rapid Clone to duplicate your database.
    Thanks,

  • Drag and Drop Apps to and from Dock, doesn't work for one account?

    Hi there,
I have 2 accounts on my Macbook, one of them is my main account which is admin and nothing is wrong with it. The second account though is also admin but I cannot drag and drop applications to and from the dock. I can open the program, hold left click down till it pops up with options and in which you can untick Keep in Dock. Which would be fine but as soon as the computer restarts or I log out then in again, the application reappears. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
Note that I have deleted both plist files from library/preferences and I have also enabled parental controls and ticked the allow users to modify the dock option. I also tried downloading Onyx and setting it up through there but it was a no go. Anyway, if anyone has any idea then that would be awesome.
    Cheers

Ok, you can drag applications from your Applications and Utilities Folders to make a "alias" (aka shortcut) in the Dock, but if you drag the icon off and drop it, it "poof's" away as your deleting the alias. The program itself isn't in the Dock at all at any time.

Right, when you run a program from where ever, it places a alias icon in the Dock, which you then right click and choose to keep the alias in the Dock which survives reboots and logouts/in as normal.
If you right click and choose "open at log-in" the program will automatically run when you restart or log back into the account.

I don't see any problem, other than your not knowing the icons in the Dock are aliases.
You should set the same user controls and preferences on the second admin as the first and your problems should disappear.
OnyX is a great program, I recommend it highly, but I don't see it fixing your problem in this case. Unless there is something your not being clear on.

  • Change Colour scheme in Hyperion Workspace

    Hi,
How to change the color scheme in Hyperion Workspace (11.1.1.3) version in different enviornments
    Thanks in Advance!!!

Let me preface my reply with the statement that I have not done this in 11; however, I have in System 9. I'm expecting it is similar; however, I cannot guarantee it. The flip side is that it should only take a couple minutes to test this out.....
The Hyperion products make use of CSS for applying themes to the web pages. The good news here is that if you at all handy with making changes to CSS files, you can make global changes relatively quickly to the site. In addition to controlling items like font colors, you can control font sizes, font types, spacing, background colors, dividers, etc, etc, etc. Additionally, the themes also include many of the common pieces of artwork/graphics used by the sites which you could change out if you wanted.
The default theme used is theme_tadpole
Depending on your specific environment, you'll find this folder in one of the following places:
\BIPlus\AppServer\InstalledApps\workspace_static\themes\theme_tadpole\images_global\If you are not using a Web server, the filepath to logon_panel.gif is similar to this:
    or
\BIPlus\AppServer\InstalledApps\WebLogic\8.1\Workspace\applications\workspace\themes\theme_tadpole (assumes you're running Weblogic 8.1 but you should get the idea)
You will probably also see another theme, theme_tadpole_HC (I assume that stands for High Contrast).
What you can do from this point is make changes to the theme_tadpole folder as you see fit. I will suggest the following :
    - Backup the original folder (duh!)
    - Get yourself a color wheel. The colors as defined in the CSS will be using Hex. #CC0011 is a shade of red. (Use a free site like http://www.colorpicker.com/ to enter the codes in the CSS to figure out what colors they are in "real life")
    - Decide what colors you want to replace and make a X-ref list
    - Get yourself a good text search/replace tool (i.e. http://www.powergrep.com/), search for the old color, and replace it everywhere in the theme folder. There are many references to the same colors in the CSS and unless you want to change them all manually.....
    Hope that helps.

  • How to drop unused schema

    How to drop unused schema

    Thanks

    Robert Geier wrote:
If you are sure it is unused, export the schema to disk (using exp, expdp), then drop it.
    drop user xxx cascade;
If you are not sure, then you may want to audit to confirm it is not used, and maybe lock the schema for a month before you drop it.Of course locking the schema (actually, locking the user account that owns the schema) doesn't prevent the objects in the schema from being used, it just prevents the owner of the schema from connecting. In a lot (should I say "most"?) systems, the application schemas are owned by "users" that are already locked, because there is never any intent for that user account to actually connect. So trying to determine if a schema is used by locking the owning account and seeing who screams is not going prove much of anything.
