  • Query to match incoming shipment with back ordered products

    Hi all,
I would like to create a query that matches up an A/P Invoice for goods received in on shipment to any goods on backorder.  I would like to do this by matching up the item codes from the A/P Invoice to the item codes from the open Sales Orders.  I would like this to show the customer who has an open order, the posting date of that order, the item code/description/quantity of the open goods (that are matched by the incoming shipment) and sorted by date.
any help would be greatly appreciated
    thanks,
    Hayden

    Hi Gordon,
When we order goods, we create a Purchase Order, and when we receive the goods we create an A/P Invoice so B1 updates the inventory and to make a payment for the goods.  What I would like to do is then have a query ready so that when we receive the shipment we can see, based on Sales Orders that are still open, which customers have goods on back order that we can now fill because of the new shipment.  I am doing this by trying to join the RDR1 table with the POR1 table using the ItemCode field, but neither Query Generator or Query Wizard allow this relationship.
I hope this helps clarify, and if you have any ideas that would be great.
    Thanks,
    Hayden

  • Back to Back Orders and Drop Shipment Order

    Hi All,
Can someone enlightment me with the difference between this two orders. Whats the difference?

    Hi,
    BACK TO BACK ORDER
This process comes in Global Trade Management
Trading Companies are basically huge business coordinators - they connect suppliers with customers, then take percentage of the contract value from both sides as a commission/finders's fee. Essentially, trading companies make their profits by facilitating transactions between companies. One main / core process is the back-to-back business, which is when we have a known customer and vendor when the deal is contracted.
    http://www50.sap.com/businessmaps/1E6E402991A64503943AFA3E685F0F2F.htm
    DROP SHIPMENTS
This process comes when you are doing third party business,
where vendor ship material directly to customer and raise invoice to your compant and latter you raise inovice to your customer
In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. The standard sales order automatically creates a purchase requisition for the materials to be delivered by the third-party vendor.
In this scenario, the vendor sends a shipping notification. The incoming invoice from the vendor updates the billing quantity, so that the customer-billing document is only possible after entering the invoice from the vendor.
If the customer does not accept the delivered goods from the third party vendor, the customer disposes of the goods. A credit memo is issued to the customer reversing the revenue and cost of goods sold. Then a MM credit memo is created for the third party vendor. A statistical goods receipt reversal is performed for the goods in order to close out the original purchase order. The vendor credit memo may initially be blocked for payment, if previous agreement for this with vendor exists.

  • Open sales order and back orders

    hi ,
what is the difference between open sales order and back orders?
    thanks
    ganesh

    Hi Ram,
A open sales order  is the one which is not yet delivered that means u have only created a sales order and saved it( create a sales order, save it and see the document flow, the order shows as open)
Back order is also an order which is not completely fulfilled. may be because of the target quantity or because of not meeting the requested delivery date.
in this case you will pull back the required quantity from other sales order(open sales orders) this is done using T.Code CO06.
    cheers,
    anil.

If you used your backup to restore the data after it got returned, set it up as new device and don't use the backup data afterwards. It seems that some data inside the backup are corrupt. Follow this article and set up the account info and other setting manually after that:

  • Hi, my iPad 2 keeps dropping out and going back to blank screen, I then have to enter my password again, start downloading or reading and it happens again. I have reset the iPad but it is still the same.

Hi, my iPad 2 keeps dropping out and going back to a blank screen. I have to again enter my password and go back to what I was doing and then it happens again, I have tried resetting and nothing has changed.
    Thanks
    Ron

First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without be charged again.  Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

  • Buy Back Process and back order processing.

    Hi,
Can any 1 explain me what is buy back process and back order processing how to configure in SAP SD.
    Thanks.

    Hi
Buy back process is nothing but you are keeping certain qty of stock at your customers place, he is unable to sell due to various reasons so u need to take back. So this is buy back process. This can be configured by way of using the consginment process.
The backorder processing is where the customer has requested for the delivery of goods on a particular date but as the stock is not available, this order will be processed only once the stock is made available.
    Hope this clarifys.
    Kind Regards

  • I have an IPOD Touch 3rd Gen.  The volume while playing music will drop down and then right back up on some songs, all intemittenly. What causes this?

I have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen. There is a problem with the volume dropping down and then right back up, intermittenly on various songs. If you rewind past that spot, it will not do it again.  It is not always the same songs.  What can I do to correct this issue?  I have tried a hard reboot on the iPod and the problem is still there.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Help me!:audio keeps dropping out and coming back in while importing clips

While importing from my camera (brand new Canon Xl-2) to imovie, the audio from the tape keeps dropping out and coming back in for some reason. This happens with all my tapes. I've tried using a head cleaner and that didn't help. I'm using a Maxtor external hard drive to save the project on. The project itself is kind of big (about 80 GB) Can imovie support projects that large? Could this be a problem with my processor?
I'm just frustrated beyond belief right now. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
these our my specs: Processor: 800 mhz. Memory: 1GB SDRam. The disk space icon at the bottom of imovie says i have 151 GB of disk space left.

    Hi e
With a slow computer one has to minimize the hassle.
    I would
    - repair permissions
    - cheque that nothing else is taking resourses from the job (energy saver,
    screensaver, File Vault etc.)
    - I would move material to my ext hd so that I got > 80Gb free (for a 80Gb
    project)
    - nothing else connected than my Mac + Camera and import.

  • Back order procesing and Reshceduling

    Hai gurus,
Explain the process of Backorder processing and Reschdeling?
    Thanks
    Sameer

    Hi
Backorder processing is a functionality in SAP where you can change the committments and over-ride the blockage of stocks
marked against sales documents/deliveries. For e.g. you receive an order from a very important customer for material "A" but
the entire quantity of A is committed to another customer "B" via earlier sales orders and this is where BACKORDER processing helps you to change the committment and shift stock due for B to A. This is the benefit of this functionality.

OPJL - Define new checking rule
OPJJ - Define scope of check
    V_RA - Backorder Processing
    Data selection:-
    Sold-to-party Customer code Mandatory
    Sales Organization Mandatory
    Distribution Channel Mandatory
    Division Mandatory
    Changed confirmed quantity :-
Tick the material you want to changed and click the Backorder button
Confirmed quantity that still can be changed are highlighted.
    V.15 - Backorder List
    Sales Organization Mandatory
    Distribution Channel Mandatory
    Division Mandatory
The 'Rescheduling' program (SDV03V02) processes sales document items that are contained in the item directory for the material. It takes into consideration open items and schedule lines from stock transfer items, stock transfer scheduling agreements and purchase order requests (items only), referred to hereafter as stock transfer documents, for the materials.
Back order rescheduling : The program should only be run online in exceptional circumstances and even then with a very limited selection of documents, as it has a considerable effect on system resources.
To perform rescheduling, proceed as follows:
In the entry screen, select Logistics - Sales/distribution - Sales.
    You reach the Sales screen.
Select Environment - Backorders - Rescheduling - Execute.
You reach the Rescheduling in Sales: By Material screen where you carry out rescheduling.
SAP recommend you perform rescheduling in the background.

When you jar or drop a hard drive when it's operating the heads strike the platters and ruin sectors and the data on them.
Your getting the spinning wheel because the OS has been damaged and/or quite possibly the drive.
You'll first have to determine if it's a hardware issue
Do #3 Hardware Test and #5 Disk Utlity Repair Disk/Permissions here (check the SMART status)
Step by Step to fix your Mac
If the drive is fine and you don't have a recent copy of your data off the machine then also do this
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
Then proceed with fixing the damaged software, likley by #8 your problem will be fixed.
