DropDown List Problem for Dynamic Store Proc Parameter in SAP B1 8.8

I am working with the crystal report 2008 in SAP B1 8.8 and the report is used the Store Proc for retrieving data. As i need to show a list of Documnet No (DOCNUM) from Sales Order (ORDR) and Purchase Order (OPOR) for the users to select, i use the Dynamic Parameter as for the Store Proc parameter (@Contno), However, the drop down list can be shown fine in Crystal Report, but cant be shown in "Report Selection Criteria" while opening the Crystal Report through SAP B1.
Therefore, can anyone tell me how to add the dynamic drop down list (cause the documnet no list will be changed very frequently) in the SAP B1 8.8 "Report Selection Criteria" screen.

Hi,
I have this problem with my table control.
I now have an input field (with input help) called: Reference Table, as well as a table control.
What i need is to select the table names (select from the Reference table input help) and the field names will be populated inside the table control (according to the field names inside the respective tables) as a dropdown list.

ALV: Dropdown list individual for each line of the table

Hi
Question.. I would like to make a dropdown list for a field in the ALV list. The dropdown list is not the difficult point. But this dropdown list should be based on the line item.
Example:
Material 100.100     has plants (10, 20, 30)
Material 100.800     has plants (60, 70)
so the ALV list should show in the dropdown menu only the plants that this material has.
As I'm not sure, that my explanations are any good, here a example:

New insight into my dropdown list problems: loss of session info

I tried again, this time with NetBeans 5.5.1 (with Tomcat 5.5.17) and stepped through my code; code executed as a result of selecting an item in the second, misbehaving dropdown box.
I have this function:

And here is my value changed event handler for this combobox:

sb.setPortfolio_id(p_id); is a trivial setter function (taking a long argument) for the property portfolio_id.
When I step through this code, at every step along the way, I see the correct value for p_id! The correct value is passed to the session bean! And I even see the correct value in ddsi when the function "prerender" is executed. However, it seems that this information is lost when the page is actually rendered.
And, when the servlet that produces the image that is to be displayed on the page checks the session bean, the session bean has the default value (0) for the portfolio_id property rather than the the value (30) that had been passed to the session bean.
It is as if the session information has been lost, or a new session bean is provided each time the page is rendered.
The only additional clue is this (found in Tomcat's output);
com.sun.rave.web.ui.component.DropDown::The current value of component form1:dropDown2 does not match any of the selections.
Did you forget to reset the value after changing the options?
Why is this happening? I know full well that at the time the value in dropdown2 is changed, the value in dropdown1 has not, and therefore the value passed to dropDown2 IS in the list of selections. But, when the value in dropDown1 is changed, the list of options in dropDown2 is changed. I wonder if the valueChanged event handler for dropdown1 is being executed every time the page is rendered, forcing dropDown2 to "forget" what was selected, and somehow losing the session info at the same time?????????

Upgrading to itunes 7.0 just cost me 2 days of messing around and in the end I had to revert back to v6.0 and resore my lib.
Apple CS was good but did not belly up the fact that 7.0 is defective in some cases and in the end told me I had a hardware problem!
The main issue is that I could not get itunes 7.0 to see my ipod (very infrequently after a hard boot I would see it but would not be able to upload anything). Worked(s) 100% with v 6.0.
This is very defintey 1/2 baked following in the steps of the other well known producers of sw that is not always functional/buggy the first time around.
My computer is a x40 IBM laptop with xp sp2. Will have to wait a few more weeks to see how this pans out.

Concatenate problem for Dynamic SQL statements

I am building Dynamic SQL statements depending on the values which the user enters into the select option parameters .This dynamic query is passed to cl_sql_connection object for querying from another databasse
So i wrote dynamic values for one select option spointof for the database field ppointofdelivery.

How to assign store proc parameter to other parameter memebers?

i really do not want to decalare t_param2 and check if default value is null of param2 then assign param1 to it. Any way i can achieve the following without declaring temp variables.?????

Font Size for Dropdown List Box

Hi All,
We are in ECC 6.0 with Integrated ITS. We have a 'Z' EWT transaction with a corresponding service maintained in SICF being executed via ITS and/or Portals.
The problem is that the font sizes for the dropdown list values for all these input fields are very small. The same transaction when run in ECC has no such font issues.
Does anyone have any idea of why that is happening and if the font sizes for these dropdown list fields can be changed or not?

If this is in Portals then you may be able to change the size of the font through the Portal Theme Generator.

How to send sortorder info to Store Proc

I have a Store Proc in SQL Server
Now i want to give the Sort Order dynamically for this Store

When i am trying to send the SortOrder, in the query it is
saying that i cant give the parameter.
It is forcing me to give field names directly.
i cant able to give the Order by dynamically.
how can i do this.?

i can send the paramter to Store Proc, but its not accespting

JHeadstart 10.1.3: selection required error on mandatory dropdown list

Situation:
- JHeadstart 10.1.3 build 059
- One JHeadstart Group containing three item regions
- All items are in the item regions and the regions are stacked (generated as tabs)
- In the first region (tab) a mandatory item generated as a dropdown list, using a dynamic domain
When the page starts, the dropdown list displays the meaning value correctly and the list is populated with the correct values. There is no blank option in the list, which is also correct.
If no changes are made to the list and we navigate to the second tab, an error occurs, displayed at the top of the page: status (which is the field name) - selection required.
Under the status field a red message reads: A value must be entered. Even when we change the field's value to another list entry and navigate to the next tab, the error reappears. The error does not appear when we change the field back to a simple textImput item.
Why does this error occur although the field has a correct value?

I do also have this problem. It occurs when the VO contains lookup attributes from another enitity.
In the form I have an table with two stacked tabs as overflow. In the context part I do have 4 dropdownlist. Now when I change one of the lookup items (using a LOV group) and press the save button, the first two dropdownlists become empty and the message 'Selection required' is shown. After entering the values and saving again the other two dropdownlists become empty (no message is shown because those are optional). When I'm only changing other items (non lookup items) the form works fine. At first startup the mandatory dropdownlist do have a NULL-value.
As temporary solution I moved all the dropdownlists to the stacked tabs and that also works fine. When three are moved and one remains in the context part, the problem still occurs.

Dropdown List in table - multicolumn foreign key

Hello,
Steve Muench has a nice screencast how to create a dropdown list in an editable adf table.
Is there a way how to update this example to work with multicolumn foreign key between edited table and lookup table?
Let's say lookup table has Code, Line attributes as primary key and edited table has foreign key attributes MasterCode and MasterLine. How populate the FK attributes by dropdown list?
For editable table it's probably not possible directly from dropdown list. I tried to find a solution but I had problem to identify which lookup row was selected.

i am using wizard to do this and i need to populate the database table records (individual field names) and display in the table control dropdown list.
what the demo shows is only how to display a dropdown list with reference to the table names.

The two columns are from the same table, yes. Here is an example of the database:
Name number
chocolate 3
In the db only appear the number 3, so what i want is that in the dropdown appear numbers from 0 to N, in this case 3. So i will choose the number what i want. To do this, i have done a function in mysql which functionalitty is to return numbers from 0 to N. So if i send the number 3, it must send numbers from 0 to 3.
After that, to prove it, I have created a new one dropdown sending a random value to the procedure. But when i run it, the dropdown doesn`t show anything. This is the code that i have done:

I'm on a website where a dropdown list exists for items I've typed in the past. I want to keep the list in a text file but I have no way of copying it. Anyone know how to copy such a list?

Problem with dynamically loading the dropdown list from database

i am having a jsp page which contains a form
with a textfield ,two dropdown list
and a submit button
when i select a list from first drop down, second drop down has to
be loaded from the database dynamically according to the
selected one in the first drop down.
i gave onselect event for the first drop down and
gave this one

after this current page is reloading, but the already existing
values in textfield and first selected value in drop down list is
missing.
