Dropped T410 HDD error msg 0000

Hi All.. grrr.. i dropped my beloved T410 (never had any issues with since i bought it) model number 2522w55, while it was turning on. Ran HDD diag. prg n got msg Error code 0000 Read Verification failed. Questions:
1. Does error msg confirm that indeed the hard drive is corrupted or coudl it be something esle? FYI i tried reseating the drive n diag still same error msg.
2. I need the files on hard dirve any easy way to get them back? Idiot that i am, of course, when it rains it pours didnt back up all files.
3. If i need to buy new hard dirve which one does Lenovo ppl recommend? Out of work now so cant buy new lappy gotta slavage what i can.

Another thing you might try is booting a live Ubuntu Linux CD or flash drive and see if it can access your files.

While trying to cancell the GR for an Asset / Material the following error msg shown:
Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the area 01
Message no. AA629
Asset affected: 000000107102-0000
Diagnosis
With the transaction entered, the balance for the transactions in group 10 in area 01 will be negative in this fiscal year. However, the balance of transaction type group 10, according to its definition, must be positive in each fiscal year.
System Response
The system rejects this posting.
Procedure
Check the transaction type, the amount and the fiscal year in your posting. If you want to post a credit memo to an acquisition from the previous year, then use a transaction type for a retirement. If necessary, you can change balance rules after talking with your SAP consultant.
Can any one help what is the reason and how to find out the error.

Help!!! T61 Blue Screen--unmountable boot volume-- error code 0000: Read verification failed

My computer is T61 (8891CT), but Blue Screen came out and reported--unmountable boot volume. I ran the diagnostic program and got the error code 0000: Read verification failed. I can’t run anything now including the restore and rescue. Has the hard drive died?
If the hard drive has died, I have to change the hard drive, but how to transfer the system (I don’t have any CD) and think vantage software? Thank you very much for you help.

I just noticed that I can no longer get the shuffle feature on my iTunes 10.4.0.80 to work. I've turned it off and on, but it still just goes in order of the playlist. I too have been getting an error msg at computer startup.

I'm not sure how long it's been like this, but I just noticed that my songs no longer shuffle when playing from iTunes (running 10.4.0.80). No matter if "shuffle songs" is off or on, they still just play on down the playlist in order. Could this be related to other problems I'm seeing listed that seem associated with the latest update? I also get an error msg when my computer is starting up that I think is associated with this latest update (something about not being able to read a line from "Apple sync helper" (hope I haven't butchered that too much, haven't had a chance to copy the error msg)). Is this something that's likely to be fixed in a later update?

After looking at other people's posts, I think it's official: there is a bug. Itunes support said I should not have lost the drag/drop tool and I haven't on the laptop that is running itunes 10.4 and operating system 10.6.8. I chatted with someboby who lost both his drag/drop and side scroll and what we have in common is a wacom tablet for a mouse. My laptop is a wireless mouse. I reinstalled whatever updated driver that wacom has out there, shut the system down for night, hoping for magic, but alas none to be had. So if I want to change song order, I network the laptop and desktop, share the screen on the laptop, drag and drop to my heart's content and curse Apple for making me work this hard to find the tool that was once at my fingertips. Apple also let me know that if I want to share songs in household that the hundreds on songs that were purchased for .99 need to be repurchased for another .30. Maybe Apple is holding my drag/drop tool captive til I pay up the money or Maybe the next update will fix the problem, I for one give up for now.

we have solaris 2.6 intel on compaq proliant 5500 machine.
Also oracle 7.3.4 server running on it.
we have upgraded its memory 1 GB to 2GB for 2 mounths.
System hangs after reaching a point which gives an error message on console like
"Warning asl : dropping ctlmsg cannot alloc msg block".
and we have an error message on /var/adm/message file like "Aug 3 10:36:58 cll inetd[167]: accept: Not enough space"
can anybody help us?

One or more Safari extensions are the cause for Safari crashing.
Can you access Safari > Preferences > Extensions before Safari crashes??
If not, startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Then launch Safari. Then go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions. Uninstall all the extensions then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple () menu.
You also need to uninstall Rapport. You don't need to be in Safe Mode to do this.

Discoverer 4i error msg "A database role exists which confilcts with this username"

When I try to open workbooks -> from database, I get a Discoverer 4i error msg "A database role exists which confilcts with this username" with only an "OK" button in the window. The database works fine for Discoverer 3.1. After clicking on the OK button, I get an empty list of workbooks to open. If I create a new workbook & try to save it, I see the list of dozens of workbooks in the database.
Which role is it complaining about? How can I fix this?

What you will have to do is log into the database as a user with DBA priveleges, query the DBA_ROLES table (SELECT * FROM DBA_ROLES) and see what role exists that has the same name as the user you are logging in as... that should give you a direction to either rename the role, or the drop the user and recreate with a unique name... Performance issue: Calling a BAPI PO create in test mode to get error msgs

Hi,
We have an ALV report in which we display purchase orders that got created in SAP, but either got blocked due to not meeting PO Release strategy tolerances or have failed output messages. we are displaying the failed messages even.
We are looping the internal table of eban(PR) & calling bapi po create in test mode to get failed messages.
Now we are facing performance issue in production. What can be the alternate efficient way to get the error msgs with efficiency

so you need to reduce the number of PO-simulations.
- Likely you checked already, that all EBAN-entries should already be converted into POs. If there would be a large number of "new" EBAN-entries, they don't need to be simulated.
- If it's a temporary problem: give aid to correct the problems (maintain prices or whatever the error-reasons are) Then the amount of not-converted purchase requisitions (PR) should drop, too
- If it's likely, that your volume of open PR will stay high: create a Z-Table with key of EBAN and a counter, simulate (once a day) PO conversions and store the results in the Z-table. In your report you can use the results... if they are "new enough". From time to time new simulations should be done, missing master data might be available.
Maybe users should be allowed to start this 2nd report manually (in background), too -> then they can update the messages after some data corrections themself, without waiting for the result (just check later in online report and do something different in between).
And you might need to explain, PO simulation takes as long as PO creation... there is no easy or fast way around this.

App update error msg

When I try to update my apps on my iphone, I get the error msg "App not compatible with this iPhone." I am able to download a new app. I have the latest software update. I have tried turning the phone on and off. Any other suggestions?

some updates leave old models or old iOS versions behind. That's the way technology evolves. You must then stick with last version that is working with it. ( they are locally in your Itunes music folder, under "mobile applications", good idea to back up these *ipa files - some time in the future they will not be available ). You can drag and drop the apps icons from within PC/Mac to the connected iPhone, that will re-install these locally versions on the iphone.
If you use iTunes AppStore from Mac/PC you can also read the system requirements on ech App's info box.
I would say more and more apps now will certainly require iOS5 instead of 4.x , and as more and more apps make use of Retina Display, the 3GS would be out - even with iOS5 on it.

X 100e ERROR CODE 0000: READ VERIFICATION FALEID

recently bought a notebook X100e nothing appears when I turn, I entered the setup and asked for an analysis on the hard drive and appeared the following: ERROR CODE 0000: READ VERIFICATION FAILED.
I wonder how do I solve this problem.

LSMW-Error Msg:No target structure could be found

hello friends,
I was trying to upload data for 0000.0001,0002 using LSMW,
first 3 steps are recorded, but when i reach the the 4th step , m getting an error msg :No target structure could be found.could u plz suggest y this error is coming and where to maintain the target structure.

U made the structure in the step2 and step3 thats fine
Now you are at step3 u r uploading or adding by ur own all the fields to structure
I mean to say did you able to see it?
Create a structure you can find all the structure fields at the time of creation of recording
Means
You can view that go to the first Step --- Execute it and display/change it -
Overview -
you can see the recorded struc -
double click on that to view whole struc.
Now you have to make the structure in the notepad according to the fields you have recorded only what you have to change not default.

Error Msg When Invoicing

Hello,
When we tried to add to invoice from an invoice draft we received the following error msg:
"No matching records found 'G/L' Accounts (OACT) (ODBC-2028) [Message 131-183]
Does anyone know how to correct this? We've been invoicing from Draft many times now and this is the first msg like this we have received.

This error message normaly indicates that there is an account definition
Missing, before we proceed with the investigation, Please check that
ALL accounts have been defined in the 'G/L Account Determination',
for all the warehouse and tax codes and freight.
1. G/L Account Determination
'Administration > Definitions > Financials >G/L Account Determination'
(Check the rounding account even if you are not using it.)
2. Warehouse accounts
'Administration > Definitions > Stock Management > Define Warehouses >
Accounting'
3. Tax Code accounts
Administration > Finance >Tax
4. Check if Rounding Tax Amount in Rows is ticked.
(Check the rounding account in G/L account Determination is defined,
even if you are not using it.)
5. Administration > Setup >General > Freight
Please check if the GL account is defined (even if the Freight is Zero).
6. Do you manage some items with drop ship warehouse? If so, please
Check if the expense account was defined for drop ship warehouse.

2006), there are no accounts chosen in the 'G/L Account Determination'
window.
3. Afterwards, the user defined G/L accounts in the first posting
periods.
In this case these G/L accounts will not be copied into the second
period. However, if the accounts will be defined in one of the
sub-periods, it will be defined for the full 12 sub-periods from the
same category at the same time.
The G/L accunts will be copied into all the posting periods which is
created after defining the G/L Account in G/L Account Determination.
I hope this will resolve the issue.

Photoshop CS2 (program error msg)... Help please!!

I have installed the full creative suite 2 on my new iMac. everything works fine except photoshop?!!?
Illustrator works great, In-Design works great, But when i try to open a file or create a new page in PS it tells me "Could not create document because of a program error"???? ***?
I had a previous version of CS and it worked fine for one day, then that started happening. I installed the CS2 trial version, and it would still give me the same error msg. I erased everything and installed the new CS2 (photoshop, illustrator , in-design and acrobat). It still gives me the same darn msg.???

I suggest whenever you have problems with third-party applications, the first place to start troubleshooting is with the application's documentation, then vendor's web site. Usually their sites have FAQs, lists of known bugs, or application-specific forums similar to these Discussions. Sometimes, unlike the Apple Discussions, the questions are even answered by employees of the vendor.
The document cited above was found in 10 seconds by searching the Adobe support site.

let's first check to see whether or not that is associated with a broken QuickTime. (itunes needs a properly functioning QuickTime in order to work correctly.)
try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?)

iTunes no longer works on my Windows VISTA system. Get error msg saying an application is attempting to access C runtime library incorrectly... Error 7, Windows error 1114. Same msg, or one that says unable to install, when trying to update or reinstall iTunes. iTunes worked well up until about a month ago when this error msg starting appearing.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
