Dropping Wireless after installing Windows XP. Help!

I just installed Parallels and Windows XP Professional, and now my wireless goes in and out. Usually just disconnecting completely from my home network. I think I have seen this problem before. I could not locate it in a search though. Please help with a solution to this. Thank you.

It is in both. I actually find it to be more of a problem in MacOS X. It drops it about every minute. Sometimes it completely removes out network from the list. It is only 30 feet away. This never happened before the Windows was installed. I first noticed it when I was in the Windows setup and it said I was not longer connected to the interet. I have not tried resetting the SMC, but I will try. What exactly will that do? Thanks.

I have an HP Pavilion dv6636nr Entertainment Notebook computer. It came installed with Windows Vista and I just recently installed Windows 7, 32-bit onto it. The built-in webcam worked for a short time, but now it doesn't even show up in the device manager and no longer functions. I don't know if there are drivers in conflict or what, but I am very frustrated. Any help anybody can provide would be greatly appreciated, as HP no longer supports this laptop because it's OLD. Did you install the Windows Support files you downloaded from Apple when you first started Boot Camp Assistant?
If not install them.

Hi:
Please click on the devices in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. In the properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's). Post the top string of characters you see for each device.
Those will identify the model devices you have and I can try and find the drivers for them. Is it Windows 7 32 or 64 bit you have installed?

I upgraded my system to windows 7 ultimate from Vista and installed itunes 64px. but when I copy the old itunes folder into D://music and opened itunes, all my music cannot be played. each link shows the mp3 location as: file://localhost/D://music/itunes... ... I ve tried deleting library file and copy/past the original one again. doesn't work. what should I do now. It's 106 GB songs. I cannot locate them one by one nor lose all my ratings and play counts.

Was that Win 7 update from Lenovo, or Microsoft? If Lenovo, it should have installed those missing features. If it was from Microsoft, you have to manually install the Lenovo drivers and software.
The easiest way to do that is to first install ThinkVantage System Update and run it. It should download and install the other drivers and apps. I'm running Win 7 pro 64 on my T400 - a MS upgrade clean install, then TVSU installed the Lenovo stuff. Everything works.
Use the "SUPPORT" button at the top of this page, then "Download drivers and software" enter T400, install TVSU and you should be off to the races.

I cannot find your audio driver on HP's support page, but I was able to locate this one, which is the same driver as yours, just the most recent version. According to what is listed, it supports Windows 8. Give it a shot and let me know if it works for you.

A lot of problems after installing Windows XP using Boot Camp on a Mac Book

I have been having a lot of problems after installing Windows XP Home Edition (2002).
For one, after installing Windows using Boot Camp with Mac OS X 10.5.1, I opened Windows on my Mac Book, inserted the Mac OS X Disk 1 as in the instructions and got the message: +"This package requires a newer version of the Windows installer. Do you want to update the version of the Windows Installer on your system?"+ When I clicked Yes (I had NO idea what it meant at the time), I got the message: "The required resource 'UPDATE' is missing" and the Installer quit.
How do I fix this problem?
Another problem I have is that there is no sound on the Windows XP, yet it works perfectly on Mac OS X. Is there any way to fix this problem?
A third problem I have is that I can't wirelessly connect to the internet using Window XP, yet I can on Mac OS X. I have no idea on how to fix this, and it's really messing with me. D:<
D: There are way too many problems, and I have a feeling there will be a lot more later on. Help....

I understand that your printer does not work after installing Windows 8.1, and I am happy to help!
For further assistance, I will need to know some additional information:
The Product/Model Number of your printer. Follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.
If the printer is able to make copies.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
Please see this post, Want Good Answers? Ask Good Questions, by @Bob_Headrick, so you can get the most out of these forums.
In the meantime, please try the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and let me know what happens!

I am trying to install Windows XP/Vista 32 Bit On Intel Mac Notebook through BootCamp.But after installing windows successfully,when it reboot?resatrt,It gives me error message that NO bootable Drive ,Press any to key to continue.......
I have Downloaded Windows XP/Vista 32 Bit ISO format and burned it on my DVD through Disk utility.I can install windows successfully but when it restarted then it gives that message.However I am able to locate windows hard drive after holding the Option Key and when I choose the windows HDD (BootCamp),It gives me same error.
I started the installation in osx using boot camp, and the windows was completely installed, even the boot camp driver for windows was installed and there are options to restart into either windows or mac osx.
But when I restart the machine and choose to go into windows, it just can not boot, saying no bootable device. If I insert the installation disc into the drive, then I restart and go to windows, it can boot successfully.
Please Help.

What is the Product and Model Number of your desktop computer?
What version of Windows did you have installed on your computer before upgrading to 8.1?
Has your computer completed all of its important Windows Updates?
