Dry Moisture weight

can any body give me valuble solution
i received everyday  tonnes of coal  moisture  analysis  hourly base so i suggest  moisture content done by manual inspection after the day  result they caliculate mean value this mean value update at the time of issue
my client want issue in Dry Moisture Weight based one  results  we  want reduced the  quantity
EX:- 15.08.2010 i received  1000 tonnes of Wet Coal, every hour i checked the moisture  at the day end mean value is 5% moisture  content now  after analysis  950tonnes is  Dry coal i want  issue this quanity  only how we will map in sap  any  configuration is need  tell me step by step i will appriciate

Hi
You can use use fixed sampling type in sampling procedure with sample size as 24 (suppose based on hourly basis, you will record result for 24 samples). So during RR, you will get 24 entries to make. And average value will be your avg moisture.
Now make a MIC as mass_t (Total mass) and another as mass_d( Dery mass). mass_d will be calculated char.
Make inspection plan as char 10 moisture, char 20 mass_t and char 30 as mass_d.
For mass_d, formula will be c0020-(c0010/100)*c0020
Put c0030 value to unrestricted and the rest to sample usage.

  • Fog around the lens in Camileo X-Sports

I'm very carefull to load the camera at home and even add a dry "moisture pad" in the camera but after a few minutes (5) in the sun I get a fog circle just around the lens. I have to open the case each time.
This part of the camera becomes warm and I guess this is the fog reason but it ruines all my videos.
Any other way to prevent the fog besides from the inserts? Is my camera faulty ?
My first camera was replaced due to a freezing issue but didn't noticed the fog problem, but it was not so warm than now.

    Hi alfot
Don’t be afraid about the fog around the lens.
It seems to be nothing unusual using such action cams within the case (not only the Camileo X sports but other cams like GoPro, etc…)
The warmness may be forcing any moisture in the case to condense on the lens cover.
To prevents this you might use some anti-fog inserts.

  • Warranty and moisture indicators

    Hello,
I just wanted to inform other iPhone users that there are 2 externally visible moisture indicators that are white normally but turn red when exposed to moisture. My phone has the one at the charger plug tripped but the phone works perfectly.
The problem here is my warranty is now void regardless of moisture not being a cause for the phone to have problems. What I'm worried about is if I do have a real problem not related to moisture and will be told it's not covered.
The purpose of the indicators is to warrant moisture causing failure of the device. Problem here is that my phone proves that an indicator turning red may not cause failure.
You all may want to check your phones to see if either the indicator in the end of the headphone jack (bottom of the hole) or in the small area in between the plug are tripped. if so you have no warranty regardless if your phone has been damaged by moisture.
Apple needs to do something about the accuracy of it's sensors if it will base warranty coverage off this.
This is horrible and could cause some legal implications in the future.
    Thanks for reading.

The idea of moisture sensors concerns me a lot. Firstly - why put moisture sensors on the outside of the phone. Most people will get a few raindrops on a phone without it causing a problem. For the moisture sensors to be useful they need to be attached to some vital component deep within the phone. If a couple of drops of water on the casing will cause failure then they need to redesign the phone.
Secondly, we have received an iMac and a MacBook Pro that have been damp (ie. water droplets on the casing) out of the box from new. In the case of the iMac, the water droplets were inside the case too - we know this because when we called AppleCare they suggested opening the case to help it dry out before we used it. We assume that these water droplets have formed because the computer was assembled or transported from somewhere with high humidity (such as China), and shipped to us in the UK where the humidity is lower and the temperatures are low, eg. any humidity condenses inside the box.
I would be very interested to know how Apple can prove that these moisture sensors changing colour were not caused by condensing humidity rather than accidental spillage.

  • Power Mac G4 got moisture in it. Now it won't power on. What could of been damaged?Help!

I recently had my Power Mac G4 in my trunk and for some reason, there was moisture on the outside of the tower. Now it will not power on. There was no moisture on the motherboard but just around the power section. Could I have damaged anything else? Where should I start troubleshooting at? Is the hard drive damaged as well? Help.......

The area that is most vulnerable is also the area you can't easily see: the underside of the logic board where most solder connections are made. It would be easy for water droplets to condense on and around some of the projecting connectors. If a drop carried across two or more connectors and you turn it on....
I'm not too worried about the hard drive; they are usually well sealed against moisture.
It possible that the act of powering up the computer did damage. Normally, when one knows the computer is damp, you wait several days with the computer in a dry place to allow time for all moisture to escape.
I'd let it dry out completely before turning it on again. That might help as long as the first attempt to poweru pdidn;t fry something taht was damp. Once you get it going, see if there is a red light on the logic board. That tells you the power supply is working. As the PS is pretty open to the environment and has high voltage, hopefully if anything did fry, it's the replaceable, rebuildable PS.

  • Yesterday my Ipad got wet.  It has been acting flaky since it happened.  Will it improve if I let it dry out?

I'm feeling rather dumb since it happened.  I had my IPad in an Otter Box to protect it.  Didn't realize it was in the same bag with my water bottle.  Apparently my bottle cap was loose and consequently, did its damage.  I haven't attempted to charge it yet.  The screen gets jittery and I can't use the keyboard.  I'm trying to be patient but I'm worried it may have been permanently damaged.  Any help??  Thanks.

I would NOT plug it in right now. Power it down, cover it with dry rice and let it sit for a few days...the rice will pull moisture out of the device. If you've already been using it it may recover, or the damage may already be done. HOwever if you plug it in right now you run the risk of any of that moisture causing the electricity to arc adn fry something inside.

  • SIMPLE FIX TO KEEP MOISTURE OUT OF THE REMOTE

_I am a new poster, so I am sorry if this is not in the right section on the forum._
Two days ago I noticed the problem with the remote while I was skateboarding. After moisture hits the controls they cease to work properly, so I tried to find a way to stop the moisture and this method worked really well.
    You will need:
    *Saran wrap*
    *Electrical tape*
1: Take a small piece of saran wrap and +when the controls are dry and working+ wrap it around the remote, +but not too tight+, and twist the ends of the saran wrap like on a peppermint.
2: Then cut some electrical tape and wrap the ends of the saran wrap +making sure to seal it to the wire+.
3: Enjoy working controls during extrenuous activities. =]
Please comment and let me know how well this works in your case. I skateboarded all day yesterday in Louisiana humidity and sweated all over, and it still continued to work.
    Good luck!

I already tried that idea, making sure I sealed the controls up good and proper, but in my case it didn't work.
I was 20 mins into a workout at the gym and the volume reduced to minimum and I couldn't turn it back up. A few minutes later the controls stopped working all together so I couldn't even pause the music.
In the end I gave up and sent the iPod Shuffle back for a full refund and have since replaced it with a totally different mp3 player.
Pity as I really liked the thing, when it worked.
Since I got it to use at the gym though this fault in the design means it's useless for me and, it seems, many others.

  • Moisture? behind glass

When I return to my office on Monday mornings, my iMac (early 2009) has a brownish haze on the inside of the lower right side of the screen. I assume that it is moisture since as the iMac, which has been shut down over the weekend, warms up, the haze gets smaller and finally disappears. Does anyone else notice this? Are there any potential problems developing?
    Rob

I have read of a few people with this, I doubt it's causing that much harm, but since it's not a sealed unit it's possible moisture will get in.
If you want to remove the glass and let it dry out you can either use some sucker cups or a small piece of parcel tape on one edge of the glass, pull gently and it will come away, it's only held on with magnets.

  • Using scaling of price after goods Receipt according to moisture content

    Dear All ,
Is there any way of maintaining scaling in pricing after goods receipt .The scenario is like this .
We are doing goods receipt for maize . Suppose the quoted price is Rs 900/ton . After goods receipt if the moisture content exceeds 14 % of the total weight the Payment price should reduce proportonately .
My client has a scale of price for moisture % .Like if the % of moisture increases the price reduces proportionately .
Kindly let me know where I can maintain this price scale so that during GR/MIRO I can enter the moisture % and the corresponding price should automatically pick from that .
    Regards
    Abhijit das

    Hi,
It should be effectively done through raising of Credit / Debit note system only.
Eventhough, it is configured through scales, it causes problems.

  • I want to see PP stock in dry and wet scenarios in parallel.

I am using PP in a coke plant. The stock is uploaded as wet i.e. ( x tons of coke + y tons of moisture) through 561 movement. This entire stock is then taken up through a stock transfer order process in SD and a goods issue posted. However, my management would also like to see in parallel, the x ton (dry stock) separately also without affecting the MM reports like MMBE. They would also want to see this dry qty diminished when PGI of the wet stock also happens in the same proportion in which they have been PGIed.
Is there any way in PP to achieve this objective?

    Hi Partha,
As I perceive, at the moment, you are using only one part number that represents the FG/SFG (mixture of coke & moisture). You create a STO and book a GI against the STO.
In terms of the PP modul my suggestion would be as following:
    - you should maintain stock for all ingredients (components) >> this would mean the maintanance of separate part number of each component
    - you should maintain BOM for your SFG/FG
    - and you should maintain other suitable master data (work center, routing)
In this case the process would be to issue a PrdOrd for your FG/SFG. During the confirmation (booking against PrdOrd) you would get your FG/SFG by mvt 101 and consume your components via mvt 261.
After that you could deliver your SFG/FG to its destination (e.g. via delivery, STO).
Please make your question clear it is very difficult to understand the process described by you and it's not toatally clear what you want exactly.
    Thanks,
    Csaba

  • Nokia n95 8gb moisture in camera lens - HELP

Hi, I have Nokia n95 8gb and while have been in a shower I have left it in the bathroom and now my lenses are moistured/water from inside of camera/lens. How can I fix/dry this?
    PLEASEEE HELP ME.

Many people take the phone into the bathroom whilst taking a bath or shower not realising this actually harms your phone!
Steam has entered the phone and turned to condensation and this is never good for an electrical product.
This will probably cause you many problems sooner or later, but for now remove the battery as having the battery in the phone whilst it is still wet is damaging your phone with current from the battery surging through all those components joint together inside with water.
Then put the phone in a warm dry place, where you have your boiler for your home as an example, and leave it there for a few days.
This should dry out any liquid there is inside the phone but only time will tell of the amount of damage has occured.
My posts are my opinion and in no way the direct views of Nokia.
If my posts are helpful, please give me some KUDOS using the green star on the left.

  • Moisture Damage to iPad after only a few drops of liquid?  Options?

I bought my iPad on Sunday and on Monday the touch screen wasn't working too well. On Tuesday I brought it to work and had a bottle of cranberry juice in my bag with the iPad. When I pulled my iPad out of my work bag, I noticed litterally 2 DROPS of juice on the seam around the rubber seal. I wiped it away with my hand and no worries...until the device started going haywire: apps opening on their own, emails spontaneously deleting, etc. The Genius at my store told me that since there was "subjection to liquid" and the moisture sensor was activated, I have no options other than just to throw it away. I bought it only 4 days ago! I agree that I was in the wrong for putting a bottle of liquid in my bag with my device, but how can it be that sensitive? There was also a sale paper from Ulta in the bottom of my bag and it was moistened but only on the back page; not even enough moisture to damage 2 pages of a magazine! Does anyone have any ideas on how to dry out this device? I can't bear to say I've lost $600 after only 4 days of use.

If the Genius told you that the moisture sensors had activated enough to void the warranty, I would think that more than a couple of drops hit the thing. The iPad screen is fairly well sealed. There is a moisture sensor in the headphone jack, like on the iPhone (as well as in other places). But it needs quite a bit of moisture, I've heard, in order to turn completely red (the indication). But I'm surprised that he told you that all you could do was throw it away! You mentioned that the screen had not been working well before this. What, exactly, was not working well about it? Did you tell that to the rep?
If indeed you managed to void your warranty, look around for iPad repairers who work independently (there are quite a few fixing iPhones, so maybe start with them). Maybe they can repair it and if so it would cost a lot less than the out of warranty repair from Apple.

  • Ipod touch wont turn on and had moisture in the camera lens

so today i was using my ipod touch 5th generation ive only had for since about the start of january and while i was on it, it just shut itself off... i thought id try and charge it buut found it was getting rather hot for it to charge so i decided to take it off and try again.. i put it back on and it was getting way to hot again so i took it off and exzamined it and i found that i had moisture in my camera lens... i have no idea what to do... my parents are going to send it away to see what apple can do about it... i am rather disappointed in having this happen.. apple is suppose to be moving foward not moving back... if steve jobs were still here none of this would have happened... if they dont fix it for me i can garrentee we will not be buying anything apple anymore and most of our technology is apple... can anyone help me with what to do ??
    Thanks

The moisture indicated liquid contact. I woiuld try the iPiod as specified here:

    The when dry try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
