DS 4.16 to IDS 5.1 migration how to

Hello,
has anyone tried to perform a DS 4.16 migration to iDS 5.1 in a cascading replicated environment with selective branch replication (split DBs)?
I set up legacy replication between 4.16 master (one DB) and 5.1 hub (two DBs, meaning one DB for root suffix and the other for subsuffix) and it's working.
But replication between 5.1 hub and another 5.1 consumer is not working (between subsuffixes).
I�d appreciate some advice.

You will have to export o=blah.co.uk to an LDIF file, use whatever prefered tool/editor to modify all DNs from o= to dc names... and import in iDS 5.1.
Migration does not change the names of entries.
By the way, I also suggest that you also checks ACI, Groups and other entries that uses DNs, if you change the names of your entries.

If have separate iCloud accounts and want to keep your all your iCloud data separate, you can create separate user accounts for each of you, then sign into your individual iCloud account within your user account.
If you want to just add both iCloud calendars on your Mac, you can sign into one iCloud account in System Preferences>iCloud, then add the second account in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud and only check Calendars with this second account.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

Seems to be different results for different people.
My sites have usually migrated automatically whenever I have upgraded. Others report the same outcome as you.
I've never traced the reasons for non-migration to a single root cause.

Yes, if you choose the Erase and Sync option (or restore your iPod) you will be allowed to sync your iPod with the new computer.

You only bought it four months ago, so it's still under warrantly.
Call Applecare or call your nearest Applestore to make an appointment. Tell them your mac has serious technical issues, describe them shortly.

Apple IDs can't be merged. If you really want to, phone Apple and ask them to delete two of them.

PS migration: How to stop auto-creation of PR for completed activities?

We are migrating project master & transactional data from R/3 4.7 to ECC5. In the old system, majority of the ext. activities in our projects already carries the status REL. Purchase Requisition was auto-created > PO done > GR/IR done > actual cost for the ext. activity already posted into the project.
In our migration effort, we are transferring the whole project structure & master data from the old 4.7 to ECC5 and subsequently updating the system & user statuses of the whole project structure.
How can we stop the system from auto-creating a PR again when the statuses are updated for those activities that are already completed, i.e. actual cost posted, as in 4.7 system?
We thought of using the logic if a PO exist for the activity in the 'old' system, then the field AFVGD-AUDISP (Res/Pur.req) for the activity in CJ20N should be set to 'Never'. However, my ABAPer was saying this could not be done as AFVGD is a structure and not a table.
Have any one of you face similar predicament? Is there other method to address this issue? Appreciate your assistance.

Thanks for the suggestion.
However, we thought of an alternate method that does involve changing the customers existing business process.
1) Change the field AUDISP in the network profile to 1 "Never" for the conversion.
2) Migrate the data. Program will create Networks, Activities & Components with the field AUDISP set to "Never create Reservation or Purchase Requisition".
3) Change the field in AUDISP in the network profile back to "2 From Release".
We will have to get the users to clean-up their data (close outstanding PRs or convert those PRs to POs) before this exercise for a clean cut-over.

What to do after Time Machine migration (how to start using TM again)

I have just restored my system from my Time Machine (TM) backup (I have a USB hdd plugged into my airport extreme (AEB), so the TM backup is a sparsebundle file on the USB hard disk).
The initial setup with migration assistant did not work - it could not find the sparsebundle on my hard disk (this was with leopard 10.5). After setting up a dummy account and doing a system update to 10.5.6 migration assistant then worked fine.
My question is how do I start doing TM backups again? If I am logged in as the user who was restored via migration assistant and then enable TM and then select the HDD that is shared over my AEB will it automatically recognize the old sparsebundle and use that as the starting point for backups? Or do I need to delete the old sparsebundle and then start a brand new backup?
My external HDD is not big enough to accomodate an additional backup, and so I would prefer to just use the existing backup if possible.

not possible. TM will make a complete new backup after a new install and there is no way around that. if your existing backup drive is too small for that you have to delete the existing backups and start TM backups from scratch. (just thrash the sparse bundle and empty trash).

Im going to migrate to another mac using time machine, how long does it take (time machine/main hdd in the old mac was at about 700gb capacity)

There is no way of determining that. The time is dependent on a number of different factors.

Put your data (the Home folder) onto an external USB drive, then restore files from it on the MBP. Do not restore the /Home/Library/ folder in its entirety. All you would need are the Application Support folders for your compatible or upgraded applications and the preference files for those applications.

How to make vendor payment through different Account IDs of the same House Bank?
When I am using F-58 T.code for making vendor payment. But only 2 Bank accounts only possible to take.
Payment method, Currency, House Bank will be the same but 22 types of Account IDs are there.
So, when I am assigning them in FBZP> Bank Account determination, the system is not accepting.
What is the solution for this.

But here, Same house bank, Same payment method, Same currency but, different account IDs.

Flex 4 migration: how to resolve css warnings

Hi,
we are trying to migrate a our flex app to flex 4, and while compiling the app, we are seeing a lot of the following warnings. I was wondering how to resolve these warnings. We are not using flex 3 compatibility flag but are using Halo as the default theme via the compiler argument -theme=${flexlib}/themes/Halo/halo.swc.
It seems that the warnings are coming from css packaged in datavisualization.swc and halo.swc

I just saw that we are using xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" in all our custom components written in mxml, including our main application.
In our custom css, I have the default namespace set to:

APEX Forms Migration - How to redefine default's page number

I've imported all the xml files and I'd like now to create the application with the wizard creator based on the files previously imported.

At some step, the wizard shows me pages that will be created. However, I'd like to reasign the page with the page numbers. Do you have any clue how can I perform this action ?

Generally speaking page numbers don't really matter to anyone other than the Apex engine. However, if you really need to change page numbers then make a copy of your page and give it a high number, i.e. page 1 becomes 1001. Then delete the original pages and copy your high numbered pages back to the page numbers you want. It's a pain, which is why most people don't pay much attention to which page numbers their pages end up with.
