DSD confg. issue.

Hi experts,
I want to configure DSD and is facing some issues.
1. When I Upload DSD syncbos from file it gives error in some of them.How to resolve them.I am using MI 2.5 sp 20.
2. When we define port in DSD backend/connector it ask to go to SAP Web Application Server>ALE>and so on...
Here SAP Web Application Server means r/3(where DSDb/k and connector reside OR it is middleware.Pl. clarify.

DSD Varios Issues

Hi,
I been working on the configuration of the mDSD application and have the following issues. Please feel free to try to crack any of them, I will award rewards points per issue.
1) Mobile DSD Administration Console. The only link that works on this website is the Synchronization Status Overview. All other links have a 404 HTTP error. I have configure the settings page and the ITS server. Please advise on possible causes or any additional information.
2) Password for user check-in. We are stomped by the user check-in password. We are currently working with the IDES setup and have attempted the SUPERVISOR/sup password to no avail. Also where is this setting configured ? how can you change the default password and the user roles?

Welcome to the Forum.
Your file directory may need repairing. You can try starting up from your installation disc (insert disc, restart Mac and hold the 'C' key at the chime - it will take some time to boot up) then choose *Disk Utility* from the menu and run *Repair Disk*.
As for the white screen issue. This may require a Pram reset. Restart the Mac and hold down CMD-OPTION-P-R together until you hear the chime sound twice, then release.

Mobile DSD data download issue : "/DSD/ME_DDR_STAT" status on error

DSD Backend scenarios are working fine. We had sent all the master data and shipment IDOC's to the DSD connector and we see the data in the DSD connector tables. In the Mobile DSD application we are having problems in getting the data downloaded to the Nobile client. we noticed that afer the shipment creation in backend the status on the table "/DSD/ME_DDR_STAT" goes to the following status:
DATA_STATUS - N
TRANDAT_STATUS - S
PRCDAT_STATUS - N
and when we try to do a sync from the mobile device it says the
synchronization is completed successfully but the status on the table
changes to Error as mentioned below:
DATA_STATUS - E
TRANDAT_STATUS - S
PRCDAT_STATUS - E
We are not sure what is the issue. We had successfully implemented the
Pricing BADI and also did all the configuration that are related to the
DSD Pricing .
We had implemented the OSS note "1287227 - Price date status E
in /DSD/ME_DDR_STAT set incorrectly". Still the issue exists.
Any suggestions why the status is changing to Error and Master data is
not getting downloaded in to the MI Client.
We are at SP13 and I am using MI client for SP13 with path level 1 for SP 13.

This generolly happens if there is some problem in the Pricing Data.
Please disable all the Sync Bo releated to pricing and again create a tour .....
check whether u are getting the required result.
Also check TRX: SLG1

DSD Settlement Cockpit authorisation issue

Hello
We are using paper-based DSD. There are many TPPs mapped to several Settlement offices. Objective is to restrict a user to have a worklist consisting of shipments related to Transportation Planning Point that are assigned to his user-id via authorisation/roles. Currently, all users (irrespective of which state(BSO) he/she belongs to) get a worklist of all shipments.
Any ideas/suggestions on how we can implement such an authorisation?

After you Assign Allowed Settlement Types to Settlement Office in customising use Parameter ID /DSD/SL_BSO and assign it to user profile parameters.

I am getting the status as E - S - E; which prevets the data to be downloaded to middleware then to PDA.
What coudl be the reason for this wrong status?

DSD Return Loading Note

Dear All
Using 4.7x200 DSD function. After the settlement document is created via settlement cockpit, alongwith other documents, a return loading note is also created for the unsold portion (and for the deviated delivery to the customer). The system changes the sales order, post goods issue, make the collection debiting the driver and crediting the customers, but automatic clearance of customer open item is not made. Moreover, while using transaction VA02 for return loading note (i don't know either this is the right way), the system do not copy the payment terms, Incoterm, and mainly, the pricing procedure. the field of Pricing Procedure at header level:sales is gray and the system refuse to save the return loading note by saying "Net Vale is missing".

Check the Copy controls from your Returns Order to Returns credit memo (Invoice).
The Pricing Types need to be G - Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes. Becuase the Header COndition arew Manual, if you retdetermine the Princing in the Invoice (Credit Memo) the Header Conditions will have to be manually re-entered.

DSD route settlement with multiple sales are

Hi folks,
I have looked in this forum for an answer for my problem but haven't found any, so i am creating this new thread.
Well i am trying to settle a shipment in /DSD/DE_ENTRY transaction with multiple sales area in it, example:
Visit 1 - Sales Org(D002) Distribution channel(GN) Division(GA)
Visit 2 - Sales Org(D002) Distribution channel(GN) Division(GB)
Visit 3 - Sales Org(D017) Distribution channel(17) Division(D1)
The problem i get is that when i settle the shipment he mixes up the sales area in the visits, so far, allways in visit 3 where he puts up D002, 17, D1, giving the error of non existent sales area when trying to create the order(he doesn't mix up for all orders, only for some ones in the visit).
Another strange fact is that i made 3 shipments with same data, and in all 3, he mixed up for different documents, in 1 he created 2 documents fine, in other one only 1, making me believe that he "randomly" atributes the sales area.
What i need is to "manipulate" or have a solution for standard doesn't mix up the sales area, and atribute the correct sales area to the orders to create based on the sales are in the visit.

Thanks for the link, it's more or less the functionality that I'm looking for but the issue with BW is that I need to do the Settlement at the moment that routes are arriving "on line" and with BW I need wait the load to BW system. A lot of routes are arriving frequently.
¿Do you know a R3 functionality for this? or ¿do you know a "Shipments settlement" who has all Shipments of the route? in order to use same transaction that is by transport.

Error in Direct Store delivery Sales (DSD)

While doing the Final settlement run in DSD sales process we are encounterd with the following eeror
<b>There are no settings for payment posting</b> in Settlement Document in <b>Area:payment posting</b>.
Please help us where we miss the settings in payment posting.

Question on DSD Connector: Data Readiness

Hi All,
According to the DSD concept during the creation of the Shipment , two outbound IDOC will be created by the output control configuration and a entry will get inserted in the table /DSD/ME_DDR_STAT when processing the inbound IDOC .
We had created a shipment and an IDOC is genereated for DSD connector . A entry is inserted in the table /DSD/ME_DDR_STAT . But the inserted entry doesnot has any value(blank) for the "DSD Connector: Mobile Engine User ID - MEUSER " field and "DSD Connector: Mobile Engine Mobile ID - MEMBLID". So the "DSD Connector: Transactional Data Status- DATA_STATUS" field is on the staus "A-Not Assigned" and TRANDAT_STATUS has value "S- Successfully Processed Data Ready" and PRCDAT_STATUS has value "N-Data not Ready".
These field supposed to have value "Data Ready" status for all fields so that this data will get downloaded to the Mobile client on next synchronization.
We had already assigned the mobile user id with the mobile device id in DSD connector cockpit in reference to the Driver and Vehicle masterdata.
What might be the problem?

This is Arun, one of the teammate working with Greetson. To put more light to the same issue,
In the DSD connector as per procedure we are supposed to put 'RFC destination for DSD connector', but this makes the DSD connector cockpit unable to retrive mobile device ID.
IT works instead if we give a 'RFC destination for ME server' . So we changed to that destination
NOTE: to maintain the destination
PATH: Logistics Execution → Direct Store
Delivery Backend → Handheld Connectivity → DSD Connector Settings → Logical
System Connectivity → Maintain destination for mobile engine servers.
Any ideas, appreciated

SAP DSD - geocoding for customers - field format does not fit to examples

Hello to all,
We have a customer requirement behind this. We intend to use the DSD-Addon for several issues. One of these issues is to store geocoding information for our customer data within SAP. The SAP-Release is 4.7 with the DSD-Addon active. I checked all threads within the network and also checked SAP-Help and OSS-messages. Now our issue:
When I look at the fields for storing the geocode (Longitude and Latitude) they do not fit to the testdata I got from our customers. The data look like this:
customer:       x-Coord           y-Coord_
10001             744264,3384   6657823,32
10002             813368,6494   6699051,344
10003             790475,8379   6702787,298
10004             862729,1893   6690792,612
The fields in the DSD-Customerdata have the format "123.123456789012". So I wonder how my data could fit into these fields. Is there anybody who has experience with this? I did not find any information or examples in the SAP-Help for this. What is wrong the format of the fields or the format of the x/y-Coordinates?

Let me confirm which version of SAP your using
As per your post -
1. Table total does not fit into window
     Check your table is fit in the window or not (window will be main window)
2.Error occured while sending mail SO_OBJECT_SEND, return code L (message type: warning)
Check your parameters that passing to the SO_OBJECT_SEND
3.Page format with orientation unknown (message type: warning)
     Check your styles that are using in the form
4.Form TOTALS has wrong page format (message type: error)
     Chekc your page format that is going to to support printer what your using - check the printer settings.
    I think your are using the u r own z page format
Let me know if any concerns...

DSD Admin Console

We are trying to deploy MDSD ear(MDSD 2.1) file on our MI 7.0 server in order to install MDSD admin console. Deployment of the MDSD ear file was sucessful and the application com.sap.dsd.monitor comes on the MI server. We are able to login in the Administration Console but after that it shows the following error
u201CTemplate [/DSD/ME_MESERVER_EXTRACTOR] is not found in system. Error:nullu201D
Kindly suggest a solution

"Additional DSD Data:Driver Data" filed not found

Hi,
we have activeted Direct store delivery in our system.But when we are trying to create Driver we are unable to fine the field /button "Additional DSD Data:Driver Data".
Please help to resolve the issue.

DSD Connector & Pricing Data Extractor

IDocs are being sent correctly to the DSD connector. What triggers the pricing data extractor to fetch the pricing data for the shipment? Are entries in the DSD cockpit required? We are running ECC 6.0 with EnhP3.0.

Enrique, if your issue is still not resolved, try checking the IDoc ports that you have defined in WE21. Check the IDoc files generated in the app. server directory and compare that with the Inbound file search string (if any).

Driver Difference Document Target Quantity Issue

Hi All,
We did the DSD backend configuration and when we do a scenario document testing in the R/3 without the MDSD functionality when we run the Settlement cockpit all the documents are getting created . For the Driver difference document the target Quantity field on the line item is shows zero . But when we double click and see the detail the order quantity shows the correct quantity. Issue is target quantity is showing zero value . It supposed to show quantity value there.What might be the issue?

I have a problem when i want post the idoc /DSD/HH_CONTRL in the inbound process of DSD Connector to DSD Backend, first of all i send the follow IDOCs:
