Dsl connetion rate drop pls help

Question

i have been with bt broadband for 3 months and everything was ok till 3 weeks ago,  im on the upto 20mbps   opion 3,  my ds connetion rate is normaly 5000 with a ip profile of 4000,  my dsl connetion rate has started to drop loads down to 2789, i think this could be down to the snr,  i have had 4 enginere vists all say my line is ok but i dont understand why this big drop has happend.  spend hours on the phone to bt india with not much help feel like im banging my head on a wall,  this is my home hub stats can anyone help me pls  my line has changes to

today and my dsl rate has gone up a bit but nothing like it was, my partner had bt broadband in my flat with the same line and he got 4.4mbps for 1 year solid i just cant see what the problem is all i know is that my dsl connetion rate is low so my ip profile will not go back up

Your noise margin is quite high at about 9dB. It's normally around 6dB for a healthy line. This usually happens if the line has reset several times in a row, perhaps due to interference.
If your line is now stable, and if you're patient enough, it should eventually set itself back to 6dB. But this can take a few weeks of a stable connection.
If your line is noisier than it was, through a poor connection somewhere, then it won't get better until the line is fixed.
