DSO error

Hi Experts,
When i run the processchain i can see the error message in the activation DSO, the message was
Request DTPR_D4J1LUH7I2ENMRUL6MDA777CS no longer exists in DSO XX
system is inconsistent ..
The request was deleted from the DSO and it is available in the onitor screen at the deleted request, so i had checked the req in reconstruction tab i couldnt find.so could please help how to bring back that REQ to DSO.

Dear bharath,
Check if the data is available inPSA of ur corresponding Data Target.
If that is available in ur PSA, Right CLick on the Request Name of ur PSA request,
and CLick on Start Update Immediately.....
Also Check withthis option Infocube Reconstruction in the same page..

Unable to delete request from write-optimized DSO (Error during rollback)

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to delete a delta request from a Write-Optimized DSO. This request was uploaded with a DTP from another Write-optimized DSO.
The actual overall status of the request is RED and the description of that status is now: 'Error during rollback of request DTPR_4JW6NLSVDUNYY3GTD6F4DQJWR; only rollback allowed'.
I checked the log of all Request Operations in DataStore (from the same line where the red request is now) and I see my several attemps to delete this request under a RED radiobutton with the title Rollback. The details for this error are the following:
Could not delete request data from active table
Message no. RSODSO_ROLLBACK114
Diagnosis
The system could not delete the request data from the active table of a write-optimized DataStore object.
System Response
Write-optimized DataStore object: DTFISO02
Active table: /BIC/ADTFISO0200
Request: DTPR_4JW6NLSVDUNYY3GTD6F4DQJWR
Procedure
Search for Notes containing the key words "Delete write-optimized DSO PSA"
I am relatively new to SAP BI 7.0 and I do not know how to delete this request. Any help will be highly appreciated !!

Take a look at the SAP Notes below.
Note 1111065 - "701: Delta consistency check for write-optimized DSOs"
Note 1263877 - "70SP20: Delta consistency check for write-optimized DSOs"
Note 1125025 - "P17:PSA:DSO:ODSR missing in PSA process for write-opt. DSO"

DSO error while creating update rules

Hi All,
i am new to BI 7.0 , while creating update rules for datastore object , i have given the infosource name, and tried to activate it, then i got the error,
ERROR: infoobject 0recordmode is missing from the infosourse
Can any one help, points are assured for the suggestions

Hi,
Add 0recordmode info object to your info source and again try to create DTP, 0recordmode is requried in DSO to keep data with history.(like before image,after image,etc), by adding this you dont have any problem, at the time of creating info source itself system will prompt you that this info object is missing do you want to add here say yes.

While activation of DSO error SID genarati No fiscal year variant specified

While activationg the DSO i am getting error called SIDgenaration " No fiscal year variant specified"
I have checked the PSA fiscal year variant is avilable..
How to solve this error please somebody let me know ASAP

Hi.......
For some particular value of Fiscal variant it is failing............ in ODS activation.......in the log it will not show that value...........but if load fails due to SID issue then log generally shows the particular value.......
You load the master data for fiscal year varinat .........then activate it.......using program.......RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN..........then tepeat the ODS activation.......this is to run attribute change run.............you can also do it from RSA1........
You can also change the said settings in the above post..........but it should'nt done in PROD........

Activation of DSO error

dso is created.when iam activating dso iam getting error like "the creation of export data source failed"
if i go detail it shows me
"the creation of data source &v1&unsuccessful." and also
"error when opening RFC"

When you activating DSO might be system is down. Try activating once again.

ACTIVATION OF DSO error: write optimise dso -

I have taken two info objects 1. customerid and 1. price
created data source and done activation
created DSO with WRITE OPTIMISE DSO (ticked the below line also) and after clicking activation, getting error message
info object 0request is not available in version A

info object 0record is not available in version A

my basic objective is to load data covering characterstics and key figures(I have no idea whether to take write optimise or std etc)
into dso
for this I have done the following
1. infoarea
2. info ob cat for char and key
3. info objects 1. customerid --- char (no additional attribute)
2. price --- key (USD)
3. source system
4. ac and DS
5. activated the ds and preview data---- ok
6. created DSO and added the two info objects customer id under symatic key and price under data fields
version showing as in process
then activated and noticed that its not activating and showing as object status not activated.
1. If this is wrong, pl tell me the steps in this regard, if possible step by step screenshots
2. without activation, can I go ahead for the remaining steps

Process chain variant for Acivaton of DSO error!!!

I have a data flow which has three data sources A B C ...A and B are connected to DSO X and C is connected to DSO Y,
DSO X and Y are again connected to DSO Z....DSO Z is connected to Final Target (Info Cube M).
Now Iam created a Process chain ...After Start Variant Iam running the Delta Info Packs for B and C (A's Delta Info pack runs in some other chain).
Then using Update from PSA for A B C ...using AND for A&B PSA to load in to DSO X...paralelly I used C PSA update in to DSO Y...Then used AND to load X& Y to Z...
When I run the process chain it runs good twice...we created a job in SM37 to run this job for every 4 hours....when I come back and see ...DSO X has data loaded and activated
But DSO Y loaded the data but activation doesnt took...When I see the Process chain logs its giving the following error msgs.
                                    - 1 -
      Request REQU_D3DR8GR9CPUIA56IMER47VWW7 (0000060949) is not
      available in data target. No PSA process possible.
Like this error each chain is showing error messages with the request numbers which are already activated in DSO.I donno when the req is already there as active why activation looking for that old req?
I fixed it by manually updating the DSOs and Cube...Can anybody let me know how to fix this in Process chain.

I think you may have a timing issue, as when you perform this update manually there is no issue's.
I would suggest you load both ODS's then you activate the data on both, then you have the AND step once both have been activated to then feed the data to the subsequent Infoprovider.
This should resolve your issue.

Error while activating data in DSO

Hi Gurus, While activating I am getting these 2 messages "Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table 0FISCPER" and the other message is "Fiscal year variant K4 not expected" and in some other Data Packages I am getting "Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table 0FISCPER"

Error getting while activating Write Optimzed DSO

ZGSOURSYS--- this is compunding attr of all my char.

Goto RDS1 -->check if the ZGSOURSYS object active or not?
Check if there are any transfer routine or conversion routine. if there is no routine
just add some line of code in the transfer routine and save it.
delete the added line of code and again save the transfer routine. activate the infoobject.
just saving the transfer routine and activating the infoobject should also help.

Error message for inventory

Hi,
While activating multiprovider made on inventory cube and dso, error is "The InfoCube contains non-cumulative values. A validity table is created for these non-cumulative values, in which the time interval is stored, for which the non-cumulative values are valid.
The validity table automatically contains the "most detailed" of the selected time characteristics (if such a one does not exist, it must be defined by the user, meaning transfered into the InfoCube)" , what would i have to do to get rid of this error.

Transport Problem - flow from one DSO to another DSO.

Hi all experts,
I am loading one DSO from program. And based on first DSO, I am loading second DSO.
In other words, second DSO is getting loaded from first one.
While transporting from dev to quality system do i need to activate and include info-source of first DSO in the request ?

I am facing one problem.
In one single request I have included two DSOs. ( One DSO is loading second DSO. ) Also I have included Info-source (generated from first DSO, commn structure and transfer structure).
I also activated the update rules. But transport is getting failed showing error as below

Update rules {tech name of update rules} read in version M
Error when activating update rule {tech name of update rules}
Activation of the update rules for {second dso} { 8first dso }

DTP fails after up gradation of BW from 7.0 to 7.01

Hi All,
We have upgraded BW 7.0 to 7.1 in Dev, when trying to load the existing PSA data to DSO error arises,
The error came because of Integrity check " You have set the info Object 0Vendor to be checked for referential integrity against the check object. This check failed in record 55 for value 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 ",
when I check there is master data (even I have loaded before upgrade successfully).
Error message no. RSBK257.
I have tried the following:
1.Reloaded the master data
2.Loaded data to PSA and reloaded again to DSO
No luck.
Does one came across this issue, please help me.

Hi Sr,
If your master data loads had generated SID s properly you won't receive above error.
Above error is related SIDs for master data. which you selected referential integreity for one of the attribute. While loading its check for sids. if no sids, it may throw an error.

As stated by Srikanth voodi, try to run ACR and retrigger the DSO DTP. Before trigger make request red at dso and delete the old one.

Hi,
I think, Package ZBI_NEW is a custom development package: probably someone else already transported the application component hierarchy and assigned this package...try to change this. Chk with SE80 > package > ZBI_NEW,If it is not there,create it.
But the normal practice is change/Edit DSO in DEV-->Quality , then transport to Production.(SE80
In the drop down, look for Packages,below it type ZBI_* and hit Open.If you don't see ZBI_NEW, then ask BASIS to Create (DEV)and import that Package to QAS->Production)

Hi,
The activation would have failed due to varies reasons..
It would be a short dump,check in ST22.
check the job log in SM37 for better understanding of the issue.
Have you loaded the respective master data?
if it is a transaction data load,then the SID is checked at the time of activation and not during loading.
So if the master data is not loaded then the activation would fail.
It can also be due to the system performance at that moment.
Even if the data volume is huge ,there are chances of the activation failing..
Try repeating the activation once again.it might succeed..
Else check the logs to understand the actual issue.
