DSO reporting icon was displayed although load status was "Yellow"/"Red"

Hi,
Whilst loading a DSO, I observed that the reporting icon was displayed even when the load was in status "Yellow" and in one instance, the reporting icon displayed even when the status of the load to the DSO was "Red" i.e it had failed. I would reckon that the DSO reporting icon would be displayed only after the load was successful including the activation step. Why then was the reporting icon displaying when the load was not successful.? Is this an SAP bug.

Hi,
I don't understand this. In a Standard DSO if the Quality Status is set to Automatic then the report shows as Green in the Quality Status Icon. However, data is still in the "New Data Table" and is not yet updated in the Active data table/change log unless the activation is done. If the Activation is done, only the will the data be available in the Active Data table/Change log.
It is only afther this data is available that the reporting icon is displayed.
If the Qualilty status is Yellow/Red the activation cannot be done. In whcih case there is no question of data being available in Active Table/Change log and hence the reporting icon should not be displayed.
Therefore, I am not able to understand the anomalous behavior of the display of the reporting icon even when the Qualtiy Status is Yellow/Green

I have installed BI accelarator following the note : 934848.
The problem is when I try to monitor Data Load Status , I've this error on the portal : "Error reading the data of InfoProvider 0TCT_VC12, There is still no data source assigned to VirtualProvider 0TCT_VC12" but I've activated direct access for this virtual info prorvide to the correct source system as it is mentionned(step 5) and it is assigned to a data source (0TCT_DS12).

You're absolutely right Rajani , it's about BI Cokpit Administration.
In fact, I really activate direct access, I added the right source system in the Source System for InfoSource 3x window.
but it 's still not working. Thanks for your Hekp.

How to display daily load status to users in portal

Hi All
Any ideas if any of you have implemented a means to display the daily load status for end users to see what loads have occured and what failed and what is in process at the top of the portal.

TM Drive Icon was yellow - is now blue - ?

Hi, I just wanted to begin using my old drive for my new Mac.
Yesterday I deleted the one file from the drive (old TM backup)
by moving it to the trash. The following "Empty trash" lasted very long...
Then a long backup followed. About 12 hours for 240GB - is this normal?
I noticed that the drive icon which always was yellow
was now displayed in blue! What did this mean?
Today I opened the drive and the color of the icon is yellow again.
Can anyone please explain this?

Open system preferences/time machine.
The icon should be the Time Machine icon in blue.
Then I see this:
What you posted is the generic firewire icon....
I meant the icon that was displayed on the desktop when the drive
was switched on (mounted). In the past (on my old Mac) it was always yellow,
now (yesterday it was blue during the 12 hours backup) - today yellow again.
I guess this has some meaning. But which?
You might want to download the Time Machine Buddy widget
to see if Time Machine is making backups.

Load status is Yellow

Hi Experts,
Iam trying to load CRM data into BW. The datasource that i am using in 0crm_quotation_i and Iam loading it inot 0crm_quto ODS in the Test system,. I checked in RSA3 in CRM and it gave 6000 records. When I try this the load is not picking up any record ( not even in PSA) and also SM37 in BW doesn;t show any job running in the background.
Can anyone please guide me on how to fix this??

Hi,
GO to the short dump in BW side and try to find out any dump in the same (ST22)
Then go to the system log (SM21) and make the selection for the all remote system log and then search for the same. There will be some log in there.
Also if u know the work process in which it was running then go and view the log in SM37 and see the log for that particular job at around the same time when the load failed.
There is not much we can understand in there unless u know some basis but then when you see the reason there it is written some time what is the reason of the error.
I think there is some issue with the data or the routines maybe this type of error usally come then only.
Let me know if you get to know the short dump.

"Request for Reporting available " is not displayed after loading the data.

A DSO feeds the data to a cube and DSO. In dso reporting sysmbol is present. However in the cube "Request for Reporting available " is not present in the manage tab of the cube.
Please advise on this.

Hi,
What is the status in Monitor. If it is ok, go to manage of the infocube,
in that screen on the menu, Environment --> Automatic Request processing. Then you will get three check boxes.
Click the first check box, (Set Quality status to OK). If you aggregates, choose second box.

I think u r using PF-STATUS parameter in function module,
if u use this parameter, you sholud give the icon name etc..
otherwise by default it will appear.
Check your code again.
Give me exact requirement, if possible paste the code.

Project Server 2013 - SSRS reports don't display icons

We have an SSRS report that works fine in Visual Studio. It works fine in the PWA reporting document library for test. However, when we put it into production, we are getting an issue where the SSRS icons/images and the report icons for the parameter drop
down do not display. The image inserted is of the top header of the report where everything is a dot and should be the "refresh" and left arrow/right arrow icons from the web page and the parameters and "collapse" icons that display
the red x.

Hi Collin,
This is more of a SharePoint / SSRS issue rather than Project Server. It could be a permission issue. Or even an access issue - may be you have an alternate access mapping etc.

I have a mid 2009 13'' MBP. I got the battery replaced in Apple store, It then stopped displaying the battery status LED. After some months of use my MBP died. I got it checked in Apple verfied Service centre and was told that logic board was to blame

After I came back to US I took my MBP to Apple store and was told that there is liquid damage in the system. My question is that if there was liquid damage why did my MBP stop displaying the battery status right after the battery was changed secondly why didnt the apple verified Service centre tell me that there was liquid damage afterall I paid them the money for diagnosing the problem.
Is there a process i can followup on this problem

Crystal Report Viewer not displaying properly in on loading

Windows 10 is not currently supported. We plan to add it to the supported platform in SP 14 which is planned for sometime end May.
I tried it and make sure you are loading the Viewer and Report in the Page_Init section. Also the CrystalReportsViewer folder must be included in the project.

Where is the refresh button and where is the bar at the bottom of the page that gives the loading status of the page? Why did you mess with something that was perfectly fine??

I updated to firefox 4 and it's not as good as the former version. There is no refresh button, and I use that a lot. There is no loading status bar at the bottom of the page and I liked the tabs BELOW the page address.
Why do you keep changing things, just for the H**L of it...

In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload (Refresh) buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job was cancelled upon user request.

I am running reports on the web through Forms using Run_Report_Object built in. I am using Oracle 9iAS Enterprise Edition Release 1(1.2.2.2.2), Forms 6i Patch 9 (6.0.8.18.3) and Reports 6i Patch 9 (6.0.8.18) using CGI implementation. Most reports are running fine, but I have one that produces 125 pages and we are getting the following messages in the browser:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job was cancelled upon user request.
However if you look at the Reports Server Queue Status thru the browser it shows that the report did finish, but it took 16 minutes. But the user gets the above message in their browser window.
Is there a way to get the first page of the report to display, while the rest of the report finishes, so the browser window doesn't timeout and display the above error?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no limit on the report run time. The most probable reason why you are getting the 'Report cancelled upon user request' message is the users might have hit the "cancel Report" button which is displayed when it is running in 'SYNCHRONOUS MODE'. do not hit that button as it will terminate the report. to increase the speed of returning the results by the report, try improving the sql that you use in the report, or if you have DBA rights try adding in INDEXES on the columns of the tables used by the report.
