HelloI have a UCCE 7.5.8 but I have doubt exist any considerations for Mexico Daylight Saving Time Change for change the time?If this I have a ROGGERsAyB, PG,AWHDS,is necessary to stop the service before 2:00 a.m?I to start the service after of change time?Or not is neccesary to do anything?

Hi Santiago, as far as I know Logger databases use local time (not GMT), so if your domain controller changes time - and it should -, then the new times will appear in the Logger database tables. I would not do anything, just let it roll.

Renni johnWe are looking for a better solution to this as well. Our routers are in California and we have call centers in Europe. The DST issue is compounded by the fact that the two continents observe DST changover on different dates.
Right now we create admin scripts with four different time checks:
1) When both are on Standard Time
2) When the US has changed to DST but Europe has not
3) When both are on DST
4) When the US has moved back to Standard Time and Europe has not.
These scripts are monstrosities and require a lot of maintenance because DST dates change every year. It also creates more possible points of failure (or human error). We would like to have "TimeZone" switch that establishes a time zone for the admin script. I saw somewhere that UCCX has this. Why not UCCE? -
CUCM upgrade in UCCE environment
We have a CUCM cluster(v6.1.2) for our UCCE environment (ICM v7.2.5). I need to upgrade the CUCM to version 6.1.3 (due to the DST bug). Can someone tell me which components in UCCE that I will need to upgrade and/or modify for this CUCM upgrade? Or at least point me to a document that outlines this?

BrianYou would probably have compatibility without any UCCE change, but the recommended task is to download the updated JTAPI Client plugin from your upgraded CUCM and overwrite what is there on your PGs.

Original Caller Id not appearing in case of call transfer [UCCE 7.0]
Dear All,
Currently we have UCCE 7.0 Environment and we are facing an issue that when a call is transferred by an Agent A to another Agent B via different Call Flow, the Original Caller Id of the customer is not getting displayed on Agent B Phone, rather it shows the Caller Id of the Agent A who has transferred the call. Following are the details of scenario.
1. We have two different call flows of ICM scripts, lets Call it Call Flow A and Call Flow B.
2. A Call arrives to Call Flow A, goes into the SkillGroup Queue and Call is answered by Agent A and he can see the correct Callerd Id. When Agent A determines that the call is not related to his skills, so he transfers the Call to Call Flow B.
3. The transferred Call in Call Flow B goes into the Skill Group Queue and is answered by Agent B but the Agent B can't see the original Caller Id of the customer, rather he is presented with the Caller Id of Agent A who transferred the Call.
Our contact center staff complains that the issue was not there before, so we tried to verify this through past Screen Recordings found that their claim is correct.
We tried to trouble shoot this by collecting wireshark logs, but as our call volume is too high so we couldn't figure out which party has changed the Caller Id. We tried to make a guess that may be at CVP end the Caller Id has been changed, so when we tried to filter the IP addresses of CVP Servers in wireshark logs as source and destinations, so we found no results.
I just want to know what would be the best way to troubleshoot this issue. And does anyone know what may cause this issue to trigger suddenly. We still have plans to capture the wireshark logs again during off peak hours, but still i thought i may get a good advise on this forum.

whatever the reason is Route pattern taking priority and transferring calls to CVP which is considering transfer leg as NEW CALL instead of PRE-ROUTE call so obviously phone Extn which is transferring the calls will appear as ANI which we can verify the same from below logs since ICM losing the call control it cannot update initial call info here the same can be verified in PIM logs.
Since you already enabled N/W transferred in PIM and Script, Just delete the Route Pattern 2xxx which is pointing to CVP and make test calls and tranfer the same call to 20083 via CTI and let me know the result
You can also verify the TCD table in HDS DB for the call where Router call key will be same for initial and Transfer leg
deleting Route Pattern will resolve the issue, make some test call and observe the ANI for tranfer leg
If not collect the logs will verify the same, also pls update me TCD table for those failure calls

alright, this is the first time i have had this issue.
only thing on the computer that was changed recently was a windows update yesterday, it came up automatically, shut the computer down, and restarted automatically. Java has wanted to update for a couple days
if its worth anything, the error came up when i was watching instant streaming on netflix.

gave me a warning message that hard disk drive failure was eminant, and adviced me to back up everything. computer seems to be functioning normal other than the error/warning message.
when i restarted the computer and ran the test that comes up i ended up with this, it says it may take over an hour, but this comes up after about a minute.

You need to replace your hard drive. You should be able to purchase the parts on the notebook's HP Parts Surfer Page.
Had you previously created any Recovery Media such as a thumbdrive? Without this you'll be unable to reinstall the operating system when you replace your hard drive. We have just migrated a call center to UCCE 8.5.3 that runs roggers and ICM call flow scripts that contain very basic flows. In each flow there is basically a one-to-one ratio of call type elements to select skill group elements.
Generally you would expect the call volume (as our scripts are written) to have almost the same call volume in the call type interval table and the skill group interval table, with allowable differences because of RONAs, etc. But basically somewhat close.
In general this does work but after a reboot of the roggers (A and B sides) (logger down first, then router and reversed to start), the skill group interval data lags greatly from the call type interval data, meaning maybe 10% of the call type interval volume. We have learned that completely shutting down both A and B side and then briinging it back up in order from scratch seems to alleviate the problem (until the next restart). We cannot just leave the servers alone though due to company security patching policies.
Cisco TAC had recommended patching to UCCE 8.5.4 which we have recently done, but the probelm persists.
I was wondering if this data discrepancy has ever been seen by anyone else or if possibly some system config issue might be self-deating us? Rebooting the roggers leaves the phone system itself working just fine for the call centers, but the recording of statistics to the skill group interval table is greatly impacted with almost no recording of volume in relation to the call type interval (and for comparison, the call type skill group interval table as well).
We would generally not worry about it, but the workforce management vendor that takes its feed from UCCE only uses the skill group interval, which is basically reporting almost no volume in the mentioned scenarios.

GregThank you for the response. The time source check is a great idea. We ran into problems before when internal web service servers did not match the PGs (CTIOS service) and CTI provideed stats did not match.
We will continue to work through TAC, but I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this (as 8.5.4 sid not fix it) and if maybe it could have been something self-defeating in our system configuration or scripting. We did not immediately know this was happening until our 3rd party workforce management vendor made us aware.

My Customer is having the problem about DST (date summer time) specifically about IP Phone 7940 and 7960. When finish the date summer time this model don´t change the time, only after restart logical or phisical. I simulated the problem in the CUCM with the same version 8.6.2.22900-9 and the problem too occur. I did the following procedure to try solve the problem:
1) Put the lastest version firmware about IP Phone and didn´t worked;
2) Put the lastest version dst and didn´t worked;
I search about any bug related and didn´t found nothing.
Any have idea about this?

I have a problem with allowing traffic to UC500 subnets on ASA 5505 inside interface.
My asa is a main router with addres 192.168.1.1
UC500 voip box is connected to ASA's inside interface through UC500 WAN port with UC500 with 192.168.1.2 address.
Firewall and NAT on UC500 is disable
UC500 sip traffic works fine. voipbox creates its subnets for data and voip - 192.168.10.0 and 10.1.1.0. another important address is 10.1.10.1 which is UC500 CUE.
My problem is that from within ASA local network (192.168.1.0) i cannot reach UC500 subnets, neither can I reach ASA's local network from the UC subnets.

Funny thing is that I CAN reach the UC500 subnets when connecting with VPN to ASA...
Please help! I am not familiar with CLI.

I have managed to solve my main problem by reconfiguring my switches vlans - enabling trunk port configs for required ports and allowing them access to both vlans.
Now I can see everything from all of my inside networks.

DST iCal bug (at least for Sony Ericsson mobiles)
The recent Daylight Savings changes caused a baffling bug to show itself. I keep my phone's calendar (Sony Ericsson K610i) synchronised with my iCal calendar. This includes my timetable for the academic term, with about 13 weekly recurring events.
As the term starts in September, they straddle the change in daylight savings, so when the change occurred, all these recurring events appeared an hour earlier on my phone than in iCal.
I thought this was a time zone issue, but no amount of fiddling with time zone and DST settings on the phone resolved this. Eventually, I realised they were recurring, and moved the first occurrence of each event after the DST change in iCal, selecting "Update All Future Events", then moved them back. Suddenly on synching, they're correct (though only after the DST change — a well-known limitation).
This meets the definition of a bug in my mind, and should be resolved automatically by iCal/iSync. I hope that Apple will do something about this, as I couldn't find any explanation of this at all.This has always been the case, for all Sony Ericsson phones, and neither Apple nor Sony Ericsson seem willing to fix it through years of different handsets and updated versions of iSync.
Basically, all you have to do when the clocks change, is change the Daylight Savings setting in the phone accordingly, and re-sync.
Everything will then be fine right up until any events after the next clocks change - so you're good for 6 months anyway!
I've also fiddled with all the internal options within the iSync (not accessible through the interface), and nothing works satisfactorily there either. It's possible to disable time zone support completely, but then you have to just change the time on the phone, instead of the Daylight Savings setting, so it's no easier than just re-syncing. -
Exchange / Google calendar entries off by one hour after DST
I noticed that all of my repeating entries from my Google calendar on my iPhone (synced with the Exchange "Google sync" method) were off by one hour, appearing one hour delayed, starting November 7th, 2010 and ending in March 2011 when DST starts again. After turning Time Zone Support off in the iPhone settings, everything fixed. However, this is unfortunate if it means I don't have the ability to shift my calendar when I travel. Anyone else experience this problem, or know of an actual fix (as opposed to this work-around)?
Woraround: Turn on time zone support in the mail calendar settings and choose your location. Downside is you have to change it if you are traveling. I thin apple should address this as a bug.

Windows 8 no longer loads. I honestly dontcremember if it's 64 bit Windows 8. I have tried the recovery CD that came from HP and changed the boot order. No luck. I am able to run system diagnostics. The tests show everything is running except:

Here is what happened. Last month, my hard disk failed. It was still covered by the warranty so I let them check my netbook. They replaced my Hard Disk. Only Windows 7 Starter was installed, no HP softwares included. Last friday, I restored it to its factory program using the recovery disk and it was successful. A day after, when I shut down my netbook, Windows installed updates. After that update, when I tried to open it, it took forever to boot up.
I run the start-up test and is what showed up:

View Solution.I suggest calling HP back to see if your already replaced hard drive has a warranty on it. If it does, they should replace it even if your warranty has lapsed.

hello! my system is hp pavillion-g6-2312ax and my system got hanged in between of my computing . as usual when it hangs i will wait for that to recover, but this time it took a long time so, i shut it down by pressing the shutdown forcely.
when restarted it again it hanged after the hp logo goes..... and again restarted. but tis time it showed automatic repair .

The 24 character error code for the short Disk Self Test ( DST ) would indicate that the Hard Drive is failing and needs to be replaced. This is also consistent with the 'freezing' issue you mention.
As your notebook is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange to have the drive replaced - you can check your warranty status Here.
