DST Update and Micorsoft Entourage Calendar

I am running Entourage (Office X, updated to 10.1.9) and OSX 10.4.8. i.e. Both are up to date. There is an annoying issue with the calendar which seems to be related to daylight savings time, and a recent update with the OSX system.
I have regularly scheduled meeting set up on
Entourage, but the times change by +1 hour for the last 3 weeks of
March for any event. This occurs even if I create a new calendar event
within this time period. Is there a fix for this this problem? Thanks

Try the Microsoft Mac software site for help with their product. Perhaps Entourage is not equipped to handle the new DST start date of March 11.

Mine was resolved by checking the calendars. The update had unchecked all calendars when you choose calendars in the upper left hand corner of the phone.

Using ARD to verify DST Update and Office Update

I am trying to use ARD to verify which users have installed the Daylight Saving Time Update 1.0 on our network. Is there a way to verify this with a report? I know that I can send out Install Packages, but I just didn't want to do that for potentially only a few individuals. Plus I am not sure what type of disruption it would cause to everybody.
We do use exchange accounts so I understand we have to get the 11.3.3 Office 2004 update as well. I can verify this through Report, Software Version..., then select Entourage.
I am fairly new at ARD so any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

I know this is already marked as solved, but I thought I'd share anyway.
We noticed a few updates ago that not every application was effected by every update. After the 11.3.3 update, PowerPoint still lists version 11.3.2 in the Get Info window. Because of this, I've just started using this command:
ls -l /Applications/"Microsoft Office 2004"/"Updater Logs"/
The results for me are:

It's kind of a pain to go through the results (and I might just be a little paranoid) but it's helped.
I just wish they'd release these updates as packages instead of applications, but that's something else entirely.

Did you perform an iCal > File > Export > iCal Archive to be on the safe side before the upgrade?

ICal Entourage calendar totally wiped out.

I have been syncing my iCal and Mail with Entourage for the last month. It's worked just fine. I keep a two calendars in iCal-a Personal one, and an Entourage calendar to link with the Exchange 2003 server at work. Yesterday, suddenly, all the Entourage calendar events disappeared, from everywhere. Since I back up to MobileMe and Time Machine, I thought no problem. I'll get one of the backups. No can do. I have spent a day trying to recover my Entourage calendar. I thought this is why I bought MobileMe and use Time Machine. I hope someone can help me find my calendar data.

I did find out you shouldn't use MobileMe to sync iCal and an Exchange account, i.e. Entourage.

Something has changed with my iphone syncing and I don't know what. I use entourage exclusively for my calendar and contacts on my Mac computer.
My calendars were syncing fine using itunes, both with wifi and connected. Then some things disappeared from my calendar, and I can't get them back. New events sync fine, but my computer has events that will not go over at all. I even tried to replace all my phone calendar with everything from my entourage calendar, and again the same things did not move. What could I be doing wrong.
Now, I have a bunch of stuff on my Mac entourage calendar double. There is sooooo much work to get that back to normal. I am starting to think that my phone and calendar syncing is tooooo much work. I don't have the time for this.

But once again, I do not want to lose my other texts, app progress, and photos. I could sync the photos but i would still lose the app progress and texts. I would only restore if it was the only option left, but the other space, as already stated, isnt the main concern. The main concern is those 'deleted' texts. If they go, then a good size chunk of the other space goes. I know you CAN delete texts for good. It worked fine before. All i want to know is why its not working for me now, and how to fix it.
I also know that when you delete texts on your iphone, they get marked for deletion, however they stay on your device (thats why they show up when you search for them.) then when you sync your device with itunes, the texts marked for deletion should disappear. When i synced they didnt disappear. Thats what i need an explanation/solution for. Why the texts marked for deletion didnt get fully deleted after the sync.

I lost my contacts and calendar, and photos since the iOS update and and it states that my iPhone cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 1 MB required). Also it shows that I am over capacity on my Capacity ruler but how do I unload some of that stuff so that I can increase my capacity and perhaps get this synching to work again.
So frustrating!!

On your iPhone go to settings>general>about and next to "Available" if you dont have much space then you will need to delete stuff on the phone to make room to take photos by deleting stuff on the phone.
In terms of syncing change what you are syncing and decide what you would really want and not want on your phone which would make what is syncing to the phone smaller.

it sounds like you were using iCloud. Go under Settings > iCloud and make sure the switch for Notes is ON (green side showing). If it's already on, turn it off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on. Your notes should sync up.

HT1695 I am not able to update the calendar app or reminder app. There is no ability to update and siri is also unable to set a reminder or update the calendar. This is a new phone.

Earlier iOS apps are becoming increasingly difficult to find. You may want to look at VintApps, new in the Apple app store, that makes this much easier.

Be sure to backup your current apps on earlier devices. Once the vendor updates them past your maximum iOS, they can not be downloaded again.

Lost Calendar data after update and hotsync

Okay, I hope someone can help with this. I updated my Treo 650 at the Palm site tonight. And I'm gonna try to recall the exact order in which I did everything so that this is clear. (Also know that I Hotsync every night, without fail.) You should know that I work on a PC using Windows XP. After I downloaded the update and opened it, it instructed me to Hotsync. I did. The stuff in the update took a while, but it finally worked. There were a couple problems with this Hotsync though. First I got an error message that all of my original applications could not be re-uploaded because some of them were not Palm compatible. (Or some such.) Fine. I'd just go to wherever the file was and see if I could live without whatever was not uploaded. (I still haven't found the file, and I don't know HOW to find it.) Then I got a Hotsync error message that stuff had to be deleted so that the Hotsync of the updated software could be successful. No problem. I deleted some photos and Voila, it worked. New software installed. I first went to my Apps page on the Palm to see if the important Apps were still there. And they seemed to be. Then I noticed the calendar, which was showing TODAY'S date, and that looked fine too. Now this is where I get confused. SOMETHING moved me to Hotsync AGAIN. Not sure why I felt I had to, but I did. When THAT Hotsync was finished, my calendar was wiped clean. Now this is where I may have shot myself in the foot. (I read another post that seemed similar to mine and the person was told that it was fortunate that she did NOT Hotsync AFTER data disappeared. Then he went on to show the person how to reclaim her data, and his explanation went WAY "over my head".) So I Hotsynced again to see if any magic would get my calendar, and the 7-8 years of dates and info from my M103 days, back onto my Treo. It did not. My Treo has no calendar dates whatsoever. What's strange is that the address book is totally intact. Can someone talk me through a way, if there is one, to get my calendar dates and data back? And a way to back up all of this precious information should I ever get it back. And if you offer me directions, give them to me as if you were directing a really SLOW child.

Try doing a global search of your system.
Right click Local disk (C) then select search and type in datebook.bak under "All or part of the file name" entry and hit on search. If their are some items found just look for the biggest file size of the datebook.bak and copy it then paste it to the desktop then do the import process again but it's gonna be on the desktop location that you are importing the file from.
1st Open Palm Desktop Software then open your emptied calendar.
2nd Click File then Import.
3rd Locate the datebook.bak that you pasted on the desktop - once you're on the desktop you just type in the asterisk symbol * then press enter on your keyboard to show those hidden files then you shoudl be seeing a datebook.bak and some other icons and files on your desktop. I recon to just double click on the datebook.bak folder then that should import all your calendar data if it contains anything and if not then i gues this will be the last resort.
You don't need to worry about the message that says something like "Not all imported datebook will be viewed on the current view because the default view is unfiled and if you do have some categorized data on the calendar.
This will be the last resort.
