I want to get a new iPhone to replace this defective phone. I am gonna be crazzzzzzzyyyyyyyy with anger,!!!,!,,,!  I takes2 hours to go to Regent street apple stores for three times!!!!!. It is a lot of transport fees !
PLz tell me why! How to deal with it !

Unless it's confirmed officially that your phone is defective, then you can ask for a replacement. Or you have to live with you. However you can trade it for a new one if you don't care the price drop.

use a supported web browser to go to iCloud.com. Click your name (top right) and set you Time Zone to the correct one.
    Hope this helps, Andrew

  • Movie imported with wrong time

Hi, could someone please take a look at the linked photo and tell me what I did wrong (or haven't done) to have an 11 second .mov show up as only 6 seconds, 20 frames?
    http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p220/josephnathan/1.jpg
There was an earlier question similar, but the replies had to do with audio sample rate, and there's no audio in the clip. Could it be a problem with the way I exported the .mov from the software I created it in? It was exported in the Animation codec (since DV/NTSC doesn't look as good).
    Thanks,
    Jonathan

OK, I am truly baffled. I tried exporting from QT and it was better (only left off four frames that time!) and it was OK since I had enough pad at the end. But I had to make a change and when I imported the new one into Motion it happened again (6;20). Tried bringing it into and exporting from QT, but it didn't work that time. I'm beginning to wonder if it's operator error Is there any chance it's the codec? I'm using Animation, Millions of Colors (since I don't have an alpha channel) with highest quality, keyframes set to automataic, 29.97 fps (which is the same as my Motion project). Like I said, I don't want to use DV/NTSC since the quality is poorer.
    So frustrated,
    Jonathan

  • IPhoto imports QT with wrong time from Panasonic FX7

IPhoto does not correctly import the time for audio comments recorded with my Panasonic FX7 camera. Does anyone know of a fix (including an Automator program)?
These comments are saved as QT movies (with a still picture naturally, not moving) and are seen in iPhoto as being made seven hours earlier than they actually were. I do not have this problem with either still pictures or "real" QT movies made with the camera (i.e., movies that are recorded in movie mode with motion).
I checked the creation date of the QT files and they are correct in Finder, but I am told by AppleCare that the date iPhoto uses comes from the embedded data within the file. I suspect the problem is that iPhoto thinks that the date/time field (which I cannot see) is UTC (the new name for GMT or Greenwich Mean Time) time, whereas it is probably local time -- which is seven hours behind UTC time right now. Assuming that's the case, iPhoto would subtract seven hours from the correct local time -- which is what I am seeing in iPhoto.
Unfortunately Panasonic is not one of the supported cameras for iPhoto. Hopefully Apple will add support for Panasonic cameras since they are likely to be a bigger player in the digicam market. I was dubious about a Consumer Electronics company making high quality cameras, but when I researched this purchase last Spring, to my surprise, Panasonic was rated better than Olympus (my previoius two digicams) and all other brands in the category for which I was shopping.

When you say your Library, do you mean in the iPhoto Window?
    1. Try the options at View -> Sort Photos
    2. iPhoto should be reading the photos by the Date they were Taken not the date they were imported. If you wan to see them by the date they were imported, use the Roll view.

  • ICal archive saves file with wrong time in filename in Lion

iCal archive filenames in Lion now have the time in the filename, after the date.  But the time is 8 hours ahead of the actual time it was saved.  I guess they're using Greenwich Mean Time, but the time that's in the filename should match the time that the file was actually saved (local time).
Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

A hand full of my events were showing as off by 1 hour, even though my Treo 755p, Mac Pro and iCal all show the same time zone. If I had an appointment at 12:00pm it would show up on my Treo 775p as '1:00pm (12:00pm PST)'.
I went through and edited the time zone to something else then back again. I duplicated a few events and then deleted the original. But I've gotten all of them to now show up at the correct time.
Give it a shot it may help if it isn't 100s of appointments.

  • My Ipod is stuck on a white screen with the wrong time and a lock. computer doesn't recognized my Ipod..also gets hot when connected to charge..any ideas on how to fix this? Thank You

    Hi
My Ipod nana...has frozen up and working. It shows a white screen with the wrong time and a lock symbol. When I connected it to my computer, it didn't show up. Back of Ipod gets really warm..Any ideas on how to fix it? Than You

If it happens again and the reset (home + power buttons) doesn't work, just let the battery drain; you'll know when the screen shuts off. Charge it back up and it should be fine. Frankly, I'm surprised this worked for you. Usually I hear people with this problem say that holding both buttons doesn't work, and they have to do the battery drain.
If the issue is incurable next time, you have a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.

  • How many times with wrong password will phone lock out

how many times with wrong password will phone lock out

Depends on whether you have it set to erase data after 10 attempts. Otherwise it will lock out for a certain amount of time and then you can try again before it locks out again. However, if you cannot remember the passcode, you will have to restore the phone on the computer you normally sync with http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.

  • DM Syncs Appointments with the Wrong Times

I have seen numerous posts in the forums about my problem. However, there is always a general statement of "I have never seen this" that is included with any technical support. I know there are numerous others who have the same problem. There are dozens in my company alone.
When I use Desktop Manager versions 4.2.2, 4.5, 4.6, or 4.7 to sync with an Outook 2007 calendar to either a Blackberry 8830WE or 9530 Storm from Verizion, many of the calendar appointments are sync'd with the wrong time. It seems to be isolated to reoccuring appointments and especially those planned by others that I have accepted. The offset is not consistent. It ranges between 3 and 6 hours, but there are always sync'd too early. My reoccuring 8am appointment shows up at 3am right now!
All of the time zones are correct and the same on all devices and in all software. This is a frustating and yet rampant problem.
I am using Google Calendar wireless sync to get around my problem, but it is simply a work around. I would prefer the BB software work correctly. It is troublesome to have to do this. I had a Motorola Q before, and I have had no problems with the same Outlook and Windows install.
    PLEASE HELP!

OK, I'll admit I'm a newbee, but I have been dealing with this issue since getting my Storm approx. 2 months ago and it's driving me nuts!  I've been through as many posts as I can find and have turned off 'update device time' in DM and made sure all my times and time zones are set correctly in Outlook and BB... I work for a US company and live in the UK, so I am constantly getting appointments with US TZ settings.  At first they appear to be handled correctly and appear at the correct UK time and TZ in my Outlook and BB calendars.  HOWEVER, when I sync with DM somewhere along the line the TZ (and actual timing of the meetings) is getting adjusted to the local time/TZ.
As an example - I receive a meeting that was natively created for 09:30 Mountain time (GMT-7).  I accept this in my local Outlook an it appears correctly.  When I sync with DM, however, it gets changed to a 16:30 start and GMT TZ.  When I sync again, DM indicates a change to the appointment and forces an update in Outlook - after which the meeting appears in Outlook with a 16:30 start and GMT TZ.
Now, in absolute terms this is OK since the 'local' time of the meeting start is the same with both combinations.  But things get completely screwed up when the originator changes the meeting time - causing it to shift all over the place.  This is futher complicated since I travel to Europe (and the US) on a regular basis and am thus changing TZs often.
Since the BB calendar allows you to associate a TZ with a meeting when you enter it in the device, WHY does a DM sync result in a forced change in meeting time / TZ and not use the original meeting's??
Surely this is a BUG? Surely DM should not be messing with these attributes at all??

  • IPhoto imports photos with wrong dates even if the dates are fine on the camera

    Hi!
When I import photos with iPhoto, sometimes it imports them with wrong dates, even the dates are fine on the camera. It puts dates such as 2032. Does anyone know how can I fix that. As far as I know there is no way to change dates of the photos.
    Thanks!

well that is very confusing since if the date is correct on the camera it will be correct in iPhoto
    and as to
As far as I know there is no way to change dates of the photos.
Try looking through your iPhto menus - two commands - adjust time and date and batch change time and date - asjust is used to correct incorrect dates like a comera setting -   Batch change for missing dates like with scans

  • Existing Apple ID is not longer working with Face Time and Message on the iPhone after iOS 6

After the IOS 6 update on my iPhone the Apple ID is not longer working with Face Time and Message. Each time I try to log in I receive the message that the password or the user is not right. But they are, because on all other devices and all other parts of the iPhone (iCloud, AppStore, iTunes) they are working. Other Apple IDs are working fine.
    What's wrong? Any idea?
    Thanks

    Blue
It sounds like you restored from an old back-up.  Did you back-up just before your software update?  It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.
    Sorry for your losses.
    Cheers
