DTS Decoding Verification (And return question of SB055A)
So my X-Fi Elite Pro fried a couple months ago and I finally replaced it this weekend. However after connecting my new PS3 and new monitor and getting a blu ray in i find i have no sound. Going through all the settings I can't find the decoder settings anywhere. Then I look into it and I have SB055A
So I am contacting NCIX to return it however if they want to be stupid and charge me 5% restocking fee is there anyway I can return it to creative for the full price?
Also I found a card on ebay (just the card) model SB0550 and looking at the latest drivers (for vista x64) I should be able to decode the DTS coming from my PS3 through optical right?
= Ok I found that a fix for teh 2.8.0004 drivers and its now working perfectly. However I dont want to trust that this fix will be updated as the drivers do. So I still plan to return it. However I was wondering if the Dolby Digital Li've thing will activate the decoding again? Or is the DDL only for encodeing?@

Alright so I had an iTunes account that as you'd expect was linked to my email. So I need to get back into the old account and I've managed to get my broken old email restored so it should work now. But it doesn't the verification email doesn't come through! I need to get back on my old account. Someone please help!You can't get any of your purchases because you created a new Apple ID, you didn't change the email on your old one. App and other content is forever tied to the Apple ID used to purchase it. There is no way to transfer them and no way to merge Apple IDs.
You need to call Apple back, explain the situation and tell them you need to change the email on your old Apple ID - NOT create a new one. -
I keep getting an intermittent error on web pages where a blue box with a question mark appears instead of pictures. For example Facebook and Zappos would load normally on one visit, but if I visit other websites and return I get the blue box instead of pictures. If I restart the problem will go away temporarly. However, normally returnes in time.

How to separate enter GR and return in invoice verification

I have completed GR for purchase order, and then, vendor send me invoice. however, during invoice check, warehouse return goods to this vendor. so I just want enter GR item excluding the new return item. but sap system automatically propose total Qtys/amounts. I cann't manually change Qtys/amounts.
everybody can tell me how to separate enter GR and return in invoice verification.
someday suggest me use return PO and 161 movetype to deal with this problem. however, I not think this is a good solution.

Henrywell the main point of u r problem is that u r not able to change the qyantity /value in invoice
but system should allow u to change the quantity and vlaue as per standard sap settings

u can aslo ue invoice reduction option in miro
suppose u r vendor invoice u for 100 pc but u have recived only 89 pc as 20 pc u have already returned then u can use invoice reduction option to change the quantity and value and in this case sytem will genrate the credit memo and invoice

We work with scheduling agreements for procurement. The field "goods-receipt-based invoice verification" is marked in all items as we want to verify each good receipt in invoice verification. Returns are posted against good issue (using MBRL).
In this scenario we want to verify separately good issue items and return items in invoice verification.
By example:
Good issue: 100 st
Return: 20 st (mbrl indicating the good issue)
In MIRO (invoice verification) the system shows one item of 80 st. We want that the system shows one debit item of 100 st and one credit item of 20 st.
Is this possible?

Skipping and returning to questions in Captivate 5
Hi folks,
Is there any way, in Captivate 5, to allow users to skip quiz questions, but automatically return to skipped questions at the end of the quiz, before the results page comes up?
I need to include a required quiz in a module, but let the users skip questions and come back to them later. I know that checking "Allow Backward Movement" allows the user to go back and answer skipped questions. But I'm trying to see if there's a way to get Captivate to automatically do this, rather than require the user to remember how many and which questions they skipped, and to have to go back to them.

MahdiYou could probably do this with Advanced Actions, trying to track the questions that have or have not been answered. But it would be somewhat complex.

The Application Store requires that you answer 3 questions for future verification. The questions offered are questions that I at least have no clear answer to. What was the first film you saw? and the like. You can say Not now, but then nothong happens and you are back to where you started. Is there a way to proceed with downloading apps without answering these stupid questions?
I refuse to believe that Apple as an organisation designed these questions - must have been somebody else.This is Apple's security feature, you answer the questions or you stop using the account and buy Mac apps elsewhere. Do a search on Secure Notes in the keychain and answer the questions with nonsense answers and store them in a Secure Note for future reference.

How to use the Audigy 2 ZS DD5.1 and DTS decoder with PowerDV
Is there anyone having success with PowerDVD 6 output SPDIF and using the Audigy 2 ZS DD5. and DTS decoder decodes sound to a 5. analog speaker?
I am having problem with that setup, the sound is clobberred and out of sync or sometime dropped entirely.
Don't tell me to change PowerDVD to waveout instead of directsound, I needs directsound since that the only thing MCE2005 supports.

Actually, support is in the Creative Audio Console (which is part of the driver suite for all Creative sound cards), and is especially true for Windows Vista, as it has been since Windows 2000 Professional. Part of the problem with Windows Vista is that direct hardware access (even for audio) is headed off at the pass, and thus driver support (and application support) needs to be rewritten to realize that. PowerDVD is expecting an interface (that is no longer there).

Exporting and returning value question
What is different between exporting and returning value in method of a class. if created an object inside the method and exporting it, it means I have a reference to that object inside program. If I use returning value, it means I have a copy of object created inside the method, but the object inside method is destroyed after it ends. Do I understand correctly? if so what do u prefer exporting or returning value? thanks!

The major difference is that you can have multiple EXPORTING parameters yet only a single RETURNING parameter. In addition, if you have a RETURNING parameter you cannot have EXPORTING parameters simultaneously.
Defining methods with a single RETURNING parameter is more Java-like than having multiple EXPORTING parameters.
Whenever possible and sensible I prefer RETURNING parameters over EXPORTING parameters because they allow to use the function method call, e.g.:
go_msglist = cf_reca_messagelist_create( ).

HELP: I need to link a PDF within PDF and be able to open and return to original PDF
I have a master PDF and have attached 7 supplemental PDF documents. I created "click here" icons and used the steps below so that the linked document would open. The problem is, once I open the supplemental PDF, it closes the original master. I would like to close the linked document and return to the master view. Is there a way to do this?
Or is there a way to do this from InDesign? I created master file in InDesign and exported as an Interactive PDF. I created the buttons and linked them to external files. This works great as long as the master PDF and the links are all in one file, but that is a pain to send to a viewer. Ideally, I want to be able to send the master PDF to a viewer and not have to send a links folder. Is there a way to embed the supplemental PDFs into the master so that they are all combined into one file AND have the ability to use buttons to call up one of the attachments, close, and return to the original?

I haven't worked extensively with Acrobat so am finding by trial and error the several ways PDFs within PDFs can be accomplished. I'm using a trial version of Acrobat Pro X and have experimented with three options.
1 - I've created a Portfolio and am impressed with what that can do, though I think it may be "overkill" for the current size of my project.
2 - I've also tried creating this project as an index but discovered that the links I'd created in the original docs didn't work when I moved the index and its contents (keeping the file structure the same). I presume this means the links are absolute? I also don't understand how it is that users search a .pdx file, or how to present what I want to be the original opening PDF of indexed docs.
3 - I've also thought to create one PDF with attached PDFs, so I'd like to have you expand on your comment about creating a master document and attaching documents to it.
The specifics of my project are these: I have created a master directory that contains approximately 120 links. Most of the links are repeated three times (users can find in the directory the item they need in three different ways: alphabetically, by application, or by module; hence each item listed once in each of three categories). I want to make that directory the "master" PDF that users open first, and then locate within that PDF the 5-8 PDF documents that contain all of the places to which the directory links. I want the "master" directory to be self-contained and completely "portable" as far as all of the documents and links are concerned so that when I make the PDF available from our website users can open the master from there or copy it and have all of the docs they need with all of the links intact. I think I prefer that all docs open in new windows, since returning to the original doesn't seem very user friendly in Acrobat (I like the tabs feature in FoxIt when multiple PDFs are open...).
I'd like an opinion about the best way to accomplish what I need to do, and am also wondering whether there are other options I am unaware of. BTW, the reason we've decided to document this whole project in PDFs rather than HTML is because this project contains a big number of tables, which do not look consistent across various browsers (i.e., most of our tables look fine in IE and Firefox, but awful in Google Chrome...). In researching my issue on the Acrobat Windows forum I see that rendering tables in Acrobat is also an issue that seems to be unresolved.

Performance issue and functional question regarding updates on tables
A person at my site wrote some code to update a custom field on the MARC table that was being copied from the MARA table. Here is what I would have expected to see as the code. Assume that both sets of code have a parameter called p_werks which is the plant in question.

Here's the question - why did this person enqueue and dequeue explicit locks like this ? They claimed it was to prevent issues - what issues ??? Is there something special about updating tables that we don't know about ? We've actually seen it where the system runs out of these ENQUEUE locks.
Before you all go off the deep end and ask why not just do the update, keep in mind that you don't want to update a million + rows and then do a commit either - that locks up the entire table!The ENQUEUE lock insure that another program called by another user will not update the data at the same time, so preventing database coherence to be lost. In fact, another user on a SAP correct transaction, has read the record and locked it, so when it will be updated your modifications will be lost, also you could override modifications made by another user in another luw.
You cannot use a COMMIT WORK in a SELECT - ENDSELECT, because COMMIT WORK will close each and every opened database cursor, so your first idea would dump after the first update. (so the internal table is mandatory)
