DTW Error

SAP 8.81.
I imported the Business Partners. Now I want to import the BP Banks OCRB. When I run the DTW get error that the CardCode in the OCRB file is invalid. I try with just one record so I know that the CardCode is correct
Any suggestions

you need to use the given template from C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates\Business Partners\Business Partner Master Data\OCRB - BPBankAccounts.xlt, also do not delete any columns from it. just fill up the columns you need. this might be the cause of your error.

when uploading the OCRB - BPBankAccounts you should include the OCRD - BusinessPartners

Hi,
Try to omit DocTotal on the header file. That is a calculated field. What is your B1 version and PL?

Thanks Rahul, the document_lines have the tax code and total alright, I believe probably it has to do with some tax configuration or something, but still I dont know which one may and if this is the real cause. What do you think??

DTW error 10000100 Document total value must be zero or greater than zero

I am trying to import AR service invoices and I am getting an error.
I am using the Document and Document line files and I have tried several different ways but still get the same error.
On the main document file I have
DocNum,DocType,DocDate,DocDueDate,CardCode,NumAtCard,TaxDate,Doctotal
123 S (tried the ddocuemnt_Service) 20111130 20111130 1111 TEST 20111130 1.00
Document lines
ParentKey,LineNum,ItemDescription,TaxCode,FormatCode,Location,LineTotal
123 (blank) decription EX 418000 1 1.00
Now I have tried removing the total columns on 1 file, then alternating it...leaving it on both.
What am I missing here?

DTW Error(Invalid Code OACT.AcctType ApplicationDefined

Hi all
I am shailesh ,I am trying to Import Chart of account inSAP B1 thru DTW
When i am specifying Acct type as at_Other it is importing the data properly but when it comes to revenues acct and the acct type that i have specified is at_Revenues,I am getting error as DTW Error(Invalid Code OACT.AcctType ApplicationDefined or Object defined error 65171)
I dont no why i am getting this error Bcoz in template also they have specified at_Revenues
The same error i am getting when i am using at_Expenses
Can anybody help me on this issue,I have tried with all possible combination like saving the file as txt,or csv but not able to solve the problem
I have also gone to SDK Help center and tried to check whether at_Revenues exists or not I gathered the following info on at_Revenues and at_Expenses
Member Description
at_Revenues Sets account as revenues account. 0
at_Expenses Sets account as expenses account 1
at_Other Set to accounts that are neither expenses nor revenues. 2

DTW Error 65171 "Cannot find this object in B1"

Hello experts
By trying to perform a massive modifying of Journal entries using DTW I am getting this error for all the lines of my source file. I am trying to modify cost center, so I am using the JDT1 template for the data load.
The thing is that by checking Step 5 "Map Object Fields", "Source Data" tab is displaying all the data as it is on the file, but on "Target Data" tab I can not find Journal entry number and LineNum, the rest f the data is ok, but those two fields are not being retrieved on "Target Data".

If you use manual number then defined
HandWritten - tYES in DTW otherwise make it as tNo.
If you use manual number then DocNum - 10653 is Ok,
but if you are using any numbering series remove it.

DTW error when importing AR Invoices

I'm using DTW to import AR invoices on SAP 2007, ana I'm getting the following error "Document Date deviates from the defined range", The periods are created correctly and the dates are within the range.
Do you have any idea of why this is happening???

Patricia,
The Allow Future Posting Date is checked when you would create documents in your system with a future date.
It is not a general practice to check this.
Are the document dates in your template prior to current date?

DTW error message - Data too large for the field65171

Am trying to run up General Legder Accounts using DTW in Version 8.8 and have been successful with Level 2. The customer has three levels only. The total number of characters for the various segments is 18 and I have double and triple checked that the column "Code" has exactly 18 characters. Even used "=trim" in Excel several times.
When I run DTW for level 3 it errors out and it displays the above error message. What is field 65171???
I thought DTW was supposed to be so much improved with 8.8 - where are help files that tell you what the errors are???

I am facing this error too when exporting chart of account through DTW SAP 8.8 PL 19, although some of accounts are imported but in somme accounts saying the " data too large for the filed65171".
Account code is of 7, as it reuires 9 Max,
Please suggest me on this .

DTW error when connecting to my local Server

I am trying to use Data Transfer Workbench to upload data to a new company in my local server.. I am only able to connect with our centralized server and not with the local server in my system.. if i try to connect to my local server, it is showing the following error.
Based on the previous threads.....I have checked in the license manager, the server is correct only and the encryption key type is static.
I also tried changing the encryption key to dynamic, then when i login to sap.. it is showing as
when i give Yes... I get the following error.
I am not able to move forward... Kindly suggest any way to solve my issue..

The problem here was that.. the particular user did not have the license.. so changed to a user with license and now able to connect with DTW..

DTW Error when importing Incoming Payments-Invoices (RCT2).

Hi Experts,
I have imported invoices through DTW and they currently have the status 'Open'. I have tried importing Incoming Payment records but DTW gives me the following error: 'Base document card and target document card do not match'.
After importing the invoices i ran the query for OINV and used the Internal Number / DocEntry for these invoices, in the RCT 2 table. (I read some where that its this DocEntry that will link Invoices and Incoming Payments). I have filled the DocEntry field in both ORCT and RCT 2 templates but am still getting the same error.
Kindly assist.
