Dual HP touch screens not working with t620

HI, I have two L2206tm touchscreens on a t620 thin client running ThinPro 5.1.0.  When connecting two monitors, the touch screens function erraticly or not at all.  If you only connect one touch screen, it works okay (either monitor, so it's not a problem with the monitors). Some notes:The touch screen applet that's included with ThinPro has a calibrate button is shadowed out. The touchscreens are recognized in the USB as 1 device in the ThinPro USB mgr. (TPV - OpticalTouchScreen)Both touchscreen work when the  settings for monitor 1 and 2 are setup as "Same As Primary" (meaning that the displays are mirrored.  As soon as you set one of the monitors to be  Entended (right or left), the touchscreens stop working.Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Chris

The numbers are fine
Try the following.
First, ensure the Touchpad is switched on ( the light between the Touchpad and the Spacebar should be white ), then download the latest Synaptics driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

Next, open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, shut down the notebook, remove any external devices connected to the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
When windows has fully reloaded - it will automatically load a generic driver for the Touchpad, but just let it do this.  Then open your Downloads folder, right click the Synaptics installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, restart the notebook.

    Anyone has the same problem?
    After 1.1.1 update, my touch screen occassionally fails to respond any tap on internet links in safari. no matter which web site you go to, no link will work on tap.
    I tried to clean catch, cookies, etc. The only way to out of it is to reset the phone (both key pressed).
    It happens about once or twice a day, not often enough for Apple people to duplicate it, but enough to bother me.

    I have had the same exact problem occur 3 or 4 times since the update. I fix it by turning the phone off and on again.

    Hello, I'm having an issue with a LaserJet Pr0 200 color MFP M276nw Touch Screen not Working correctly. I have followed the instructions to reset the printer, but now am unable to select 'English' as my language because every time I select the 'English' option 'Spanish' is selected. I am then given two options to select 'Si' or 'No' both of which can not be selected on the touch screen?
    Anybody know of a way round this?

    I see that you are having issues with the touch screen not working correctly. I will do my best to help you.
    Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
    Was it the Nvram reset back to factory settings that you tried or a hard reset?
    Try selecting the option on the display a little higher above the icon to see if that helps. Some touch screens are finicky.
    I find that on the Lab printers when I am selecting different menus.

  • Lenovo A1 - Touch screen not working after digitizer replacemen​t

    After dropping my tablet and breaking the digitzer, I ordered a replacement digitzer from a company in China. (It took about a month to get it) After watching this video, I was able to install my new digitizer and it finally looked new again....well at least the screen!
    But.....when I powered up my tablet, the touch screen wasn't working..... I emailed back and forth with the company and they told me to install drive program, and send me a link to a site with a video, this site may have contained more than the video, but it was all in Chinese and I couldn't figure it out even with Google Translate. So I started researching. I thought I would try and load ICS on it, I thought, "Whats the worst thing that could happen?" it wasn't much more than a brick at this point anyways. 
    I found this website that let me through installing ICS on it. I had absolutly no expectations...but IT WORKED!!!! MY TOUCH SCREEN IS NOW WORKING!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
    When I was researching for this problem, there was absolutly no posts anywhere for "Touch screen not working after new digitizer". So I wanted to share my experience.

    Yea you are correct.....it must be a hardware problem. You must contact service centre of Lenovo and get help from there.

  • 8500 All in One - touch screen not working

    One minute the touch screen with all it's functions was working fine and then, bam (!), the touch screen stopped working and I can't even use the one/off switch to power the unit off - it does not respond.  Funny thing is that the printer is still working from my computer so I can still send a print job via the wireless.   With the touch screen not working I can't use any function from the unit itself (copy a hard copy, fax a hard copy) and if the unit runs out of paper I have to unplug it to reboot since I can't hit the 'enter' on the touch screen once I've reloaded. 
    Bottom line --- nothing from the unit itself works.  Has a printer fairy locked me out or does this sound like a hardware error?  Thanks for any help ...

    Excellent.  Let me know how round 2 treats you.  The sad demise could have been due to a couple of things...as a side question, is the climate where you live especially dry right now?  I may request that our testers recheck how well we handle a static shock on the product if it is dry where you live.

    Hi all, can anybody help please, the touch screen is not working on daughters Xperia Z. Loads ok & can power off using the volume + key & power button & then turns on but touch screen still not working, It hasn't been dropped & no liquid spilt on it, only 2 months old.     I'm sorry to hear. If the touch does not work, it's not much that you can do on your own more than performing a software repair to exclude software related problems. This can be done via our program Update service:

    Download and install SUS, follow the instructions that appear.

    Hi, The touch screen for my Sony Vaio Pro 13 Touch suddenly stopped working two days ago and I have no idea how to fix it. I didn't install anything new before it stopped working, and I tried to install all the new drivers on the VAIO update but it still didn't work.     Was there any changes prior to touch screen not working?  Like installing software or hardware?  If not, then try using windows system restore to restore back to a date that you know when it was working.  If that still does not resolve issue.  Then we may have to put the unit back to factory condition to eliminate software related before servicing the unit for hardware.

    I recently baught a hp touchsmart 320-1010a running windows 7 home premium and then installed a new version of windows (windows 7 ultimate 64 bit) and now the touch screen doesnt work and i have non of the hp touchsmart applications like, hp magic canvas and others. i installed all the drivers from the hp webbsite and it still doesnt work

              Sorry about your wipe out. Are you ready to try it again? This time we will do it the right way. We first have to get you back to orginal factory ok. Lets first see if can use the recovery manger. Type in your all program search box Recover Manager.Open it and click factory restore. If it is still there. If not then you will need to use your recovery disk. If you did not make a copy then you will need to purchase them from HP's parts store. Direction on how to order them are on your computers update page.  Ounce you have your computer restored to factory condition. We can now upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate.
           This time we are going to use just the product key number. Goto all programs search box again and type in Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. Open it and inter the product key that you purchased already. This time do not remove programs or delete any thing. Let it upgrade on it's own. This time everthing that is on your computer already will not be touched. The upgrade will only install what upgrades are needed with out disturbing HP's software. Ounce the initial upgrade is completed then go on line and download Windows 7 Ultimate add on's.     I have had the same problem.I have only had my new Bold 9900 for a month and have just sent it back to the warranty repair shop for them to look at it.My touch screen first stopped working in the mornings after the alarm went off in the first week, so I assumed it was just a glitch with the alarm and installed a 3rd party alarm.However, a week later it just started happening randomly at least two or three times a day - a battery and SIM card pull would fix it at first but after a while even this wouldn't get it working again - it increasingly became more and more unreliable.At the time of sending it to the repairer the touch screen would work for roughly half the day and for the other half the day I would have to use the track ball.Considering I bought the phone outright with 850MHz enabled at about 800AUD I am not happy.Blackberry appear to provide ZERO support for their customers as well - wishing I had spent this money on an iPhone or HTC... BB really need to test their products properly before unleashing them on the unsuspecting masses..

    Without a touchscreen, you don't have a phone! We need to get your phone fixed quickly! There is an alternate master reset that you can perform without a working touchscreen. I will include a link with the steps. If the reset does not fix the issue, then it's hardware related and you will need to activate another device. Let's hope the reset fixes it!

    Got this new notebook yesterday, and all runs fine apart from the touchscreen, will not run when booted up under win10, was on phone with support for2 hours, did all the tests, display is working, but once finally booted it does not work, managed to find the latest drivers on the egalaxtouch website, still does not work, tried the latest from MS from the MS Catalog, I'm guessing I'll have to wait for an update or take it back??? love the pc, nice and fast and 6gb 1tb for 399, but no touch screen, not a deal breaker but would be nice to have it working correctly....and the support site when i select my model it gets stuck in a loop continually asking the model number.... Paul

    What is shocking to me is it's obvious HP did not do its due diligence when it comes to Windows 10 and properly testing their goods. Something any good computer company would have DONE for their customers. HP is doing a terrible job at supporting their customers and PCs. It is always smarter to buy from a vendor like Amazon and don't bother with HP customer or tech support. Sadly, they are just a huge waste of time. A word of warning. Do not allow HP foreign tech support get into your machine. It is a very bad idea. You are taking a huge risk that could mess your machine up even worse.
    Hope they fix it soon. It is back to Windows 8.1 until then. Peace.
