Cooler H50 Liquid with 2nd fan. (Core temp right now is 76 degrees F on all 6 cores), Cool & Quit on and CPU idels at 802 Mhz and as use goes up it goes to a max of 3208 Mhz. as well as temp. but seems to always stay below 90 degrees F.
Memory Kingston 1600 (OC)
Dimm 1  4 GB
Dimm 2  4 GB   Total of 8 GB Memory
PCI Slot 1 Creative SB Audigy
      Slot 2 (none)
PCI-E X-1 Slot 1 (none)
Slot 2 Hauppauge Win TV HVR-1800
Slot 3 Best Connectivity Multi-I/O (4 port, Serial ports, COM 1, 2, 3 & 4) (On board Serial port disabled
PCI-E X-16 Slot 1 (none) use on board Video, HDMI out to HDMI HP 22" HD Monitor.
Everything on the PC as I have it configured works great, Runs fast and don't seem to have any problems but I would like to know what is causing the error messages on boot up. I think it may be a problem with setup in BIOS?  I don't have any info on what the codes mean?

  • T60 Vista and Dual Monitor Support

I have a Lenovo T60 running on Vista 32-bit.  I have the latest Video Drivers, but whenever my laptop comes out of hibernation I lose dual monitor support.  Is there a solution to this problem?

The issue you're facing is a combination of a Vista "bug" and the video drivers. If you are using the latest video drivers, check to see that Vista is not managing the TMM - Vista has a bad habit of just remembering the initial setup, therefore when you take your computer off the dock, Vista doesn't like the change and will "conveniently" forget any variation of settings you may introduce.
Read this article on TMM for Vista  (.doc file - read the first section)
    Hope that helps

  • G41TM-E43 Dual Monitor Support

    Hi,
Please can you tell me whether this motherboard supports dual monitors? I am trying to build a low energy HTPC, and need to connect the TV up to the HDMI port and a monitor up to the VGA.
    Cheers, Mase

That is not likely since it would require a complete re-write of the Remote
    Control software.
However, Dual Monitor Support DOES exist in ZCM10.

  • Dual monitor support? for HP Compaq Pro 4300, with Intel HD Graphics 4000 onboard

    Hi,
Purchased new Buisness PC for cloud computing, which was HP Compaq Pro 4300 - with Dual Monitor supported.
    I have purchased 2x Samsung S24C550VL 23.6 inch LED MHL Monitor (250cd/m2, 1920x1080, 2ms, 2x HDMI, MHL, VGA).
How do I cable these avoiding using VGA for one of them.  Can I use a splitter cable as both appear to support DVI-D ?  Which of the many cables options/splitters may be best option for extended display?
PC will be operating Windows 7 Professional 64

  • Lenovo 3000 N200 0769-ALU Dual Monitor Support

My nephew has a Lenovo 3000 N200 0769-ALU, downgraded from Vista to XP.  Does this notebook support Dual Monitor Extended Desktop configuration?  If so, how is this configured?
My nephew lives in a different city, so I am not able to just go over and lay w/ his machine.  I am familiar w/ the dual monitor support on my HP LapTop, but am not sure what to look for on the Lenovo.  Assistance is appreciated.

  • Dual Monitor Support No Longer Works

    Hi,
I am using Lightroom 2.0 on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5.4
Dual monitor support use to work with my Samsung external monitor. But now whenever I try to turn on dual monitor function, lightroom crashes. I know the external monitor and connection is working properly because I am able to use all of my other programs with both monitors, but no longer lightroom's dual monitor function.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

It was an extremely frustrating process trying to know if indeed this was the way to calibrate this monitor, and after spending so much time and research was all I could come up with. Did you notice the graphing results of both types of calibration? The red (I believe it was) of the RBG graph line was not lined up at all with the G and B thus the weird color on the monitor, and with the Easy mode, they were at least in line, more or less.

  • FX5900-TD128 - Dual monitor support?

    ?(
I'm thinking of buy a FX5900-TD128 card, but I want dual monitor support (2 CRTs).  I looked on the product info page, but it doesn't explicitly say the card can actually do this... I don't want to find out the hard way by dropping $400+ on a card and then finding out it can't do something I need  ;(
BTW: I assume this thing will fit fine in a 865PE Neo2-LS mobo... right?
    Thanks

It would be a logical assumption that MSI's designers would get their gfx cards to fit their own mobos  :D
I haven't seen anyone complain so it should be ok.
    Thanks.

  • HELP! I have a dual monitor setup and can't use any of them for video??

    1)I have a GeForce4 MX 64MB VRAM card installed.
    2) the back is dual monitor capable, meaning it has 2 vga (CRT) ports, one on the right and an another adapted plug with a vga port on the end. ( i have no idea which type it was originaly.)
    3) I have a big dell LCD
    THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED:
the adapter plug ripped off, reveal copper thread things and is now unusable. Although saddened, I was not worried because I don't use a dual monitor anyway and I switched to the other port. BUT THE VIDEO DOESNT WORK ON THAT PORT. I can't figure it out it just doesnt load any video?
the truth is i would rather have a dvi cable set up because i assume its better.
    thank you for the help,
    I need it

oops! whatever it was I reinstalled OS and it left

  • Dual Monitor Support

Not sure if this one can be anwsered yet, but curious to know if there is a way to hook up dual monitors on the new Mac Pro cylinders?  I don't mean just mirroring either. I have worked with dual monitors for a very longtime. One I use for my workspace and the other I use for tool palettes. I see that there is only one HDMI port on the new computers and I use DVI monitors. I really don't want to have to buy new monitors if I get one of these.

DVI can be converted to/from HDMI with a simple "all wires" adapter or cable.
Mini DisplayPort can fall back to DVI mode by asserting a control lead on the Interface, so another simple adapter.
ThunderBolt display mode is fully compatible with Mini DisplayPort.
So with the right adapters, you should be able to get six displays working.

  • Dual Monitor Support NEEDED

    [ Mac OS 10.4.8 - G$ QuickSilver Dual 2.0 - two large monitors ]
I just tried Lightroom for the first time today, and was shocked to see that there is no support for detaching panels onto a second monitor. This is a deal-breaker for me -- lots of glitzy clutter and not enough image space. (Yeah, you can hide panels, but working with two monitors with one monitor reserved for panels is SO much nicer.) I am very concerned that this, along with the Bridge CS3 beta's lack of multiple monitor support is indicative of a very unfortunate trend with Adobe's interface design staff.
And I hope they get the message loud and clear that a deprecation of multiple monitor support is UNACCEPTABLE.
Also, the tabbed design of Adobe Camera Raw 4 as implemented in Photoshop CS3 is much nicer than the space-consuming approach in Lightroom.

Well said, Dan. I think the thing that also troubles me is what you mention about being inbuilt from the ground up. The fact that it was considered "too difficult" to get in to v1.0 indicates that the framework of the application and the architecture therein isn't built in such a way as to make a second view of a particular image or set of images possible on a secondary monitor without significant development work. This will inevitably lead to a 'bolted on' look and feel as the holdouts within the lightroom team capitulate and shove in such support.
If even partial support for simply showing one image - or heck, a slideshow - on a designated monitor (remember some people have more than 2, especially when presenting slideshows) were included in version 1, it would indicate to me that the architecture team "wanted to do it right" and had to put off some features until later. Having to completely bolt it on after the launch just means they couldn't even get it in the basic architecture.
And, yes, Richard.... that one "feature" is certainly a deal breaker for me. "Usable" is in the mind of the "user" but usefulness is obvious. Let's consider a use-case scenario:
I have a 23" cinema display, which I like to use for showing a Really Big Image, and i have a 21" Wacom cintiq on which I like to use the pen and tap on images to select or browse them and adjust sliders and whatnot. Don't tell me that the fact I can't do that with Lightroom isn't perfectly valid instant deal breaker! With Lightroom, I can either use my cinema display and get a kind-of large image and adjust with a mouse, or I can use my cintiq and get a pretty-darn-small image and use my pen. With Aperture, I can set the "main window" as my cintiq (although I do have to do this in the OS - a minor pain) but I can see the image I'm working with (or a set of several selected images) very large on my 23". Is that not an obviously better workflow? So much to possibly be a deal breaker _without_ really even getting in to some of the less-immediately-apparent features of Lightroom? For me, yes.
Does anyone think I'm _really_ comparing apples to oranges when I look at Aperture and Lightroom side-by-side? I'm sure if I worked for Apple or Adobe, I'd try to make that claim, but as a user, what I think I am looking at are applications that let me organize, tag, view, and adjust a database of images. Which ever application is the most useful for doing those tasks wins. I hold out hope that Lightroom may one day be the winner in this arms race of image management and correction applications, but right now there is absolutely no way I can credit Lightroom with even being competitive with Aperture when one of my two monitors has to sit dark when I use Lightroom.

  • Dual monitor setup and intel help

    Hello
I am trying to set up and dual monitor setup here, with a monitor and a tv, the monitors resolution is 1680x1050, the tv's resolution is 1360x720, which results in that the desktop will have an resolution on 3040x1050.
When I try to do this with GNOME's xrandr gui, I get this:
    required virtual size does not fit available size: requested=(3040, 1050), minimum=(320, 200), maximum=(1920, 1920)
When looking in the motherboards manual, it states that each out of my graphics card can do a resolution of 1980x1080. Is the intel driver missunderstanding something? Since both the dvi and hdmi output only delivers 1360x720 and 1680x1050, 3040x1050 is only an virtual resolution.
    Any suggestions?

  • Find monitor instance name , device name , resolution and frequency of multiple monitors (VGA and HDMI)

    hi,
In my system multiple monitors are connected (VGA and  HDMI). In need to know the
monitor instance name , device name , resolution and frequency of each monitor.. any solution?
i used wm class 'WmiMonitorConnectionParams'  to determine Video output technology connection type and InstanceName.
But i didn't get the device name , resolution and frequency of each monitor.??
There are other wmi class like :
    WmiMonitorBrightnessEvent
    WmiMonitorConnectionParams
    WmiMonitorRawEEdidV1Block
    WmiMonitorListedFrequencyRanges
    WmiMonitorDigitalVideoInputParams

    WmiMonitorID
    WmiMonitorBrightnessMethods
    WmiMonitorBasicDisplayParams
    WmiMonitorColorCharacteristics
    WmiMonitorDescriptorMethods
    WmiMonitorListedSupportedSourceM…
    WmiMonitorBrightness
    WmiMonitorColorXYZinCIE

     WmiMonitorBasicDisplayParams
     Win32_VideoController
    Win32_VideoConfiguration
    Win32_VideoSettings Win32_DisplayControllerConfiguration
    Win32_DisplayConfiguration
But unable to determine monitor having  its corresponding values? please help me to find a solution .
is there any other method to get multi monitor details?
    thank  you

    Hi sumith,
I read some documents about WmiMonitorConnectionParams class, it should be able to get the video putput technology by the D3DKMDT_VIDEO_OUTPUT_TECHNOLOGY enumeration.
    D3DKMDT_VIDEO_OUTPUT_TECHNOLOGY enumeration
So what happens when you are using WmiMonitorConnectionParams class? What prevent you? Anyway, please see a example of using WmiMonitorConnectionParams class, maybe you could get some hints on it.

  • Lightroom 4.4 dual monitor support

Is there any possibility of looking closely at the way dual monitors are supported in LR4.4?
Having just upgraded, it is worse than LR3.6 which wasn't totally ideal anyway. The issues are:
LR forgets that you have dual monitors when you close it and you have to set it up again when it restarts.
LR will switch which monitor has the grid or loupe view not quite at random but annoyingly frequently as a result of taking an action. Importing does it amongst others.
I have one good monitor and another which is not quite as good. Clearly I want to be able to edit the photos and look at photos in the better monitor. It would be helpful you could select which monitor you want to use for Loupe and the program respects this choice until you actually choose otherwise. I find that I am having to think of ways to do things so that it doesn't switch me; ie I am fighting the program instead of it helping me by being intuitive.
    Thanks.

Interesting. It probably shouldn't make any difference but do you use MAC, I am using a Windows 7 PC.
I have looked closely at the preferences and menu options but cannot see anything user configurable which allows me to control this. The 2nd monitor menu seems to allow you to lock it on Loupe but that isn't what I want as the second monitor is the smaller not so good one. This option isn't available for the 1st monitor.
Strangely, this morning it is restarting with the second monitor in use. Does it relate to conditions when LR4.4 was closed down?
