Dump in BI 7 While Compression of 0IC_C03

Hi All,
I am getting dump "CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE", "CX_SDB_ORA_PROGRAM_ERROR" while compression of cube 0IC_C03, earlier we were on SP 9 at that time ,compression was working fine, we applied sp10, 11 after that I am getting dump, even rollup of aggregates is also not happening.
Can you please help me out.

Hi Amit,
Have you tried to implement the compression and aggregation on some other cube. Try that option first and if still u are getting the same issue then raise an OSS note to SAP.

Problem while compressing a PDF

Hi,
I am facing a problem while compressing a PDF. The requirement is to merge lot of PDF into one. But when we merge the file the size of the PDF becomes huge. It can not be sent as an attachment in an email. We also don't want to ZIP the file. Any help is welcome.

I have already gone through the post. I can not change the existing forms. I can compress one form to the least I can but when I merge 500 of such forms then the size becomes huge. I need to compress the "merged" big file, not the single form. My individual forms are already very small in size.

Request have been loaded in the ranges of posting date and those request are not getting compressed.Can you help?

I try to load data in a infocube while compression are running

i try to laod data while compression are running. it is a full load, but i stoped my data load job right away in 20 minutes from sm37 when i see that it could cause problem. i like to know what can i possible able do know? and what are the conciquenses?

i changed the request status to red in the infocube. if i try to delete the request i think it will effect the compression job that is running right know. should i wait to see if the compression job is successful before i delete the request from the infocube?
there are five compression job that are scheduled to compress it compressed all the four request successfully and compressing the last i right know?
i am really scared about this do you think every thing will be alright even if the compression job failed? what are the negative effects of the action i did? should i run the report of the compression job is complete to check the performance or the data is ok?

Using mac to do other tasks while compressing?

Are there any issues with surfing the web and watching either Flash or Quicktime streaming videos while compressing video in FCP onto another drive or using Compressor to compress video on another drive? What about while capturing?

The worst that can happen is that things will slow down a bit; I frequently use VueScan and my Nikon 5000 to batch scan slides, and/or work in Photoshop while Compressor is running.
I've never had any issues with the resulting compressed file, or a crash or freeze while doing this. Like Jerry, I have 8 GB of RAM in my MacPro. This is where lots of extra memory really helps.

Short dump with error RSW_CURRENCY_TRANSLATION while loading SRM data

I am loading data from SRM to BW. From data source 0BBP_TD_CONTR_2 to DSO 0SRCT_DS1. Data is loaded from source to PSA. When loading from PSA to DSO using DTP, I am getting a short dump with below error. Can one please let me know solution if you have faced the same problem previously?
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLRSW0" - in
"RSW_CURRENCY_TRANSLATION".
The main program was "RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 86
of the (Include) program "LRSW0U09".
The program "SAPLRSW0" was started as a background job.
I have checked the DSO routines and objects, everything is ok. Replicated all currency conversion tables from source.
0PSTNG_DAT infoobject is also active. There is no errors in Development while loading, when moved to quality, the error is throwing.

Dump in prodcution server while downloading ALV report to excel sheet

HI ALL,
ALV report is working fine in bother DEV and PROD servers....but in production while downloading report to excel sheet it is going to dump.

Run a consistency check for your ALV and you will find out. See if you havent passed any unnecessary parameter to FM.

While I am trying to edit the master catalog I am getting a dump error: Exception condition "PARAMETERS_ERROR" raised. The moment when I clicked on the edit button I am getting this dump.
I could see the field "operation" is showing as Undefined in the table /CCM/D_CTLG.
Could you please help me?

Any help would be appreciated.
It seems like master catalog got locked. When I tried to map few supplier catalog to master catalog, I could see the message "Master catalog is locked" in SLG1.
I noticed two things which could be a reason:
1. There are two entries for the master catalog in the
table: /CCM/D_CTLG_REQ. Two versions are there 109 and 110. For the
version 109, field REQ_SENDER is showing the value FILE UPLOAD. Seems
like the master catalog is locked.
2. In the table /CCM/D_CTLG, for the version 109 the value for the
field Operation is showing as blank (undefined)
In SLG1 - when we tried to upload data in other supplier catalogs, we
are getting the message "Master catalog is locked".
I ran the report /CCM/CLEANUP_CATALOG to unlock the master catalog. But
it is not unlocking the catalog.
Also I ran the report: /CCM/CLEANUP_UPDATE_STATUS which changed the
status of the catalog from 03 to 05 in the table: /CCM/D_UPD_STATE
Please advise.

Losing Resolution While Compressing...

I have an HDV 1080i 30F sequence that I exported out of FCP as a QuickTime file. I am trying to compress it down pretty small (probably needs to be less than 100MB) for the web. I tried making it into an iPod video and that made it look HORRIBLE.
Why did that happen? I figured scaling it down it would keep the image sharp? What should I do to compress this video down small enough for the web?

Correct, you don't have a problem.
Any idea why the size (in inches) come up so differently between the PS
file and the LR file? In my limited experience I'd been told that the
measurements listed within "image size" indicated the maximum size you
could print while maintaining quality.
Because again, it's a difference in the resolution tag. The tag uses the total number of pixels to provide a 'size'. Digital images don't have a size other than the space they take up on a drive.
Exampe: you have 1000 pixels. If the tag was set for 100, the 'size' would be 10 inches. You take 100 pixels of your total 1000 pixels and divide that up, you get of course, 10". If the tag were instead 1000, you'd have a 'size' of one inch. Same data. Same number of pixels. IF you want LR and Photoshop to be in sync, just ensure that the value for 'resolution' is the same. But again, it's rather meaningless until you decide how to output those pixels to a print size. Do you want 1 inch or 10 inches from your 1000 pixels?

Dump error at the while form 16 is generated

I am getting dump error when i am excuting form 16 through pc00_m40_f16 as.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS', was not
     caught in
    procedure "FILL_INT_S88" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
    exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
    The reason for the exception is:
    In the running program "HINCF160", the field "ALPHA" of the type
    "C" and length 26 was to be accessed with the offset 26.
    However, subfield accesses with an offset specification that is not
    smaller than the field length are not permitted.

Dimensions for HD while compressing?

I edited a 10 min sequence in Apple Pro Res 422, 1920 x 1080. I exported it at 1280 x 720 to make a smaller file. It's still 6.23GB, too big to send via YouSendit. I still will have to convert it to PAL. So I need help on how to compress this big file in HD dimensions (16.9) and maintain broadcast quality.

The determining factor for the appropriate pixel dimension of your images is determined (in FCP7) by the frame size of the Sequence you are editing in, not the final exported dimension.
If you are editing on a standard HD 1920 x 1080 timeline, then you would want an image no smaller than 1920 pixels wide, 1080 pixels high. In FCP 7, you can use any image larger than that baseline pixel size up 4000 pixels wide by 2250 pixels high in the 16:9 aspect ratio, or in fact, any aspect image where the longest dimension does not exceed 4000 pixels.
You can also use smaller images, but if you zoom them up to fill frame, your image quality will degrade.
If you plan to zoom or reframe the images, you would want to work with the largest image size you can to be able to zoom into the image without quality loss.
Other image specs for compatibility with FCP7: Color Mode - RGB, 8 bits/channel.
FCP7 supports .jpeg, .tif, .png among other formats.

Dump: ASSERT condition failed - While creating followup to Package quote

I am trying to create follow up (Service contract) document to Package Quotation. But, I am endedup with dump in Function Module saying : "ASSERT Condition Failed". And this is happening only in preproduction. In development system, it is working fine. I really do not understand the reason.
last week it worked fine ... but suddenly this error came up.

Hi Arun,
Please check the following in regards to the company code issue:
1. Go to transaction PPOME and search for your Top Org unit,
2. For that org unit, go to the tab Account Assignment.
3. Fill the field Company Code with appropriate value and save it
This should resolve the issue in regards to the message of the company code. The dump refers to the table V_T077D. Please check your number range settings for the customer account groups related to students table V_T077D. Once the necessary customizing is maintained, the problem should get solved.
