Dump when executing DTP right after infopackage in BI 7.0 SP 7

Hello.
whenever I try to execute DTP <b>right after</b> run infopackage (eg.master loading), exception error occurs like below.
<b><u>"A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLRSSTATMAN" raised the exception"</u></b>
can't find any notes related to this problem in SAP notes.
that is okay when i try this job with intervals though.(10sec or so.)
Is there any solution about this?
Thanks in advance.

This sounds like you need to create a customer message. You haven't sent the dump but from the process I would guess that some data is still stuck on the database. Anyway a RAISE where you don't find a note is always worth a customer message if you can reproduce it.
Best regards
Dirk

• ABAP Dump when executing DTP

Dear gurus:
I just faced an annoying problem when executing DTP in t-code RSA1. It appears an  ABAP dump here. The ABAP dump is briefly shown below. And I found that it seems to be an authorization problem, because when I use a new account which has SAP_ALL authorization, then it works. So it may lack of some authorizations, but it's hard to figure it out. T-code su53 cannot check it properly. Need your help and thanks a lot.

What happened?
The current application program detected a situation which really
should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).

let me know the solution for the above..urgent

Hi Ravindra,

• SHORT DUMP WHILE EXECUTING DTP.

Hi Gurus,
I have got a short dump while executing DTP the Error is as Follows.
Runtime Error: MESSAGE_TYPE_X.
Reasons for Error: 1.The installation of the SAP GUI on the present server is faulty or obselete
2.There is a error in the application program
And i have sent the sreen shot of the Short Dump to BASIS TEAM and they have replied me that they have to install some patches and it will take some time.
But i have no much time and i have to someway or the other execute the DTP and load the data.
Is there any shortcuts for this i mean to say without the involvement of Basis team that i can do in th BI System
Regards
Amar.

Hi Amar,
If the problem is with with System itself, how can we all have a short cut in that case. You may give it another trial, but you have to wait for the patches to be applied. Ask your basis team to get it done ASAP.
Thanks..

               terminated because it has

         What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "MB_MIGO_BADI==================CP
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
              administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.

The following syntax error was found in the program
               MB_MIGO_BADI==================CP :
"The specified type cannot be converted into the target variables."
         How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
              1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
              (Unconverted)".
              2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
              (Unconverted)".
              3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
                 In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
              Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
              4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "MB_MIGO_BADI==================CP
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP Editor.
Take help from a ABAP consultant and try to check the syntax of the Program.
If you have access even you can check the syntax of the specified program from SE38.
Goto SE38 and put the program name and select 'Source code' and press F8, IN THE SOURCE CODE PAGE, press control+F2 and check whether there is any problem with the syntax or not.
If you find any take help from ABAP consultants.
Hope this helps.

• Dump while Executing DTP - PSA To ODS

While executing DTP, I am getting the following ABAP Dump: "MESSAGE_TYPE_X".
"MESSAGE_TYPE_X" " "
"SAPLRSSTATMAN" or "LRSSTATMA
"RSSTATMAN_GET_PARTTAB_PSA"
I was facing some selection issue in the Info Package (generic Data source), then I have deleted all the entries in the table u201CRSSELDONEu201D against that Data source. After that I was able to load the data from R/3 server to PSA smoothly.
Now I am facing the issue while loading data from PSA to ODS through DTP. I already activated all the objects again (Data Source, ODS, & DTP).
Please guide me.
Thanks in Advance u2026u2026
Kiruthika

I tried with Error DTP, I am getting same Dump. When I click Execute button with debug option directly it's going to Dump.
I am getting the following Error message
Runtime Errors         MESSAGE_TYPE_X
      keywords:
      "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" " "
      "SAPLRSSTATMAN" or "LRSSTATMA
      "RSSTATMAN_GET_PARTTAB_PSA"
Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLRSSTATMAN" - in
         "RSSTATMAN_GET_PARTTAB_PSA".
The main program was "RSAWBN_START ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 1165
        of the (Include) program "LRSSTATMANU10".
I have deleted all the entries in the table u201CRSSELDONEu201D against that Data source. After that I was able to load the data from R/3 server to PSA smoothly. As per my understanding table u201CRSSELDONEu201D is used for info package selection.
If there any problem related to this, please guide me.

• Dump while Executing DTP

Hi All,
In process chain, While executing DTP( from PSA to ZINFOOBJECT-Master data), I am getting the following ABAP Dump:
Runtime Errors         TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED
The internal table "???" could not be further extended. To enable
error handling, the table had to be delete before this log was written.
As a result, the table is displayed further down or, if you branch to
the ABAP Debugger, with 0 rows.
At the time of the termination, the following data was determined for
the relevant internal table:
Memory location: "Session memory"
Row width: 5356
Number of rows: 0
Allocated rows: 138348
Newly requested rows: 2 (in 69173 blocks)
How to correct the error
The amount of storage space (in bytes) filled at termination time was:
        Roll area...................... 416432
        Extended memory (EM)........... 2002720576
        Assigned memory (HEAP)......... 1999932640
        Short area..................... " "
        Paging area.................... 24576
        Maximum address space.......... 4294967295
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
        keywords:
        "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" " "
        "SAPLRSSTATMAN" or "LRSSTATMANU12"
        "RSSTATMAN_UPDATE_DATASTATE_EXT"
Could any one suggest solution
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Ramanm
Please suggest how to do repair custom info object in RSRV and the info object is loading from two different dtps and both dtps are failing because of same error. The process of DTP is showing but not moving to next process type.

You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage

Try to find out (e.g. by targetted data selection) whether the

• DUMP when execute any tasks - OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO

Hi Experts,
I need help. When we try to execute any tasks at UCMON we have the following DUMP:
Erro tpo.exec.         OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO
Exceção                CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL
Data e hora            16.03.2011 11:53:29
Dump breve ABAP não está complet.gravado (demas.extenso)
TxtBreve
Access with 'ZERO' object reference not possible.
O que aconteceu ?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "CL_UC_COMPOUND================CP" had to be
         terminated because one of the
        statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
O que pode ser feito?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
        error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
        date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Análise do erro
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL', was
         neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
         "GET_GUI_DATA_SELACC" "(METHOD)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
There was an attempt to access a component using a 'NULL' object
        reference (points to nothing).
An object reference must indicate an object (an instance of a class),
before it can be used to access components.
Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using a
        CLEAR statement.
Notas p/eliminação de erros
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
        use the following search criteria:
"OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO" CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIALC
        "CL_UC_COMPOUND================CP" or "CL_UC_COMPOUND================CM00H"
        "GET_GUI_DATA_SELACC"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
           Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
           "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
           supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
           Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
         "GET_GUI_DATA_SELACC"
"(METHOD)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
Someone help me please?
Thanks
Marilia

Is it a Groundhog Day again:
TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED - BCS load from data stream task
Raise Exception when execute UCMON
and this very thread
in all these cases, IMHO, the proper way was the following:
1. Try to find the proper OSS note
2. if not succesfull - properly regenerate the data basis,
3. if not succesfull - open a new OSS note to SAP.

• Execute Process chain after infopackage run for a PC file

Hello all.
The scenario I need to solve is the following.
I have several files to be load to ODS from P users PC. I will do this with an info package. But after this load there are some more process that have to be run whoch are created in a process chain.
I would like to automate the execution of the precess chain right after the load from PC file is done.
Any sugestions?
Thanks and regards,

Hello Javier Alvarado,
If you use process chains, the automatically integrated processes are ignored and have to
be implemented using the process chain. If you schedule a specific process in a chain,
you support the automatic insertion of additional, relevant standard processes with the
consideration of such automatic actions.
For example, if you have selected the processing types Only PSA and Subsequently in
Data Targets in the InfoPackage from the tabstrip Processing, and you are using this
InfoPackage in a process chain, then the further processing into the data target does not
automatically happen. Instead, it only happens if the process Update PSA is scheduled in
the respective process chain after the loading process. Thus, the process chain
maintenance supports the automation in this case. In this way, you generate a process
variant for updating from the PSA in the chain when inserting the loading process with the
process types Only PSA and Subsequently in Data Targets automatically into a chain.
Well i am talking about 30B Version
Regards,
Mohan.

• T60 freezes when moving trackpoint right after boot

Hello,
I have been experiencing this issue for quite a long time. Initially I thought it was due to an update for Windows XP, but I couldn't find any message on the logs when the laptop hangs. I re-installed XP several times to discard any software-related incompatibility, but even with a fresh install it was happening.
I recently realized after several tests that the problem occurred more frequently when moving the mouse (trackpoint or touchpad) right after system boot (either cold boot or boot from hibernation). What I found out is that it will no longer happen if I suspend the laptop after the system has started, not touching the mouse.
The symptoms are that Windows freezes. No HD activity at all, system doesn't respond to any mouse/keyboard input. If I close the laptop cover the system doesn't hibernate. The only way to resume normal operation is pressing the power off button for a few seconds, so the system turns off, then turn on normally.
All drivers are up to date.
Has anyone experience this issue?
Thanks

• ALV Grid Display - Dump when exporting (via right click)

Hi,
We have an ALV filled with a dynamic table because we needed dynamic columns. Our ALV has totals and subtotals. When exporting ALV via right click I get the following error:
OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED
I observed two facts:
1.- If I disable subtotals and totals (commentig wa_cat-do_sum = 'X') export works properly, otherwise I get the dump.
2.- Having totals and subtotals enabled, if I use export icon (top toolbar) the export works properly, but using right-click export gets the same dump.
Our fieldcat is like this:
        CLEAR wa_cat.
        wa_cat-fieldname = g_cols.
        wa_cat-seltext_s = gi_subdiv-btrtl.
        wa_cat-seltext_l =  gi_subdiv-btrtl.
        wa_cat-datatype = 'INT4'.
        wa_cat-do_sum = 'X'.
        wa_cat-outputlen = '6'.
        APPEND wa_cat TO fs_fldcat.
and we call ALV:
* Call ABAP List Viewer (ALV)
      CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
        EXPORTING
          it_fieldcat            = fs_fldcat
          i_callback_program     = v_repid
          is_layout              = s_layout
          i_callback_user_command  = 'USER_COMMAND'
          it_sort                = t_sort
*      i_callback_top_of_page = 'F_TOP_OF_PAGE'
          i_save                 = 'X'
        TABLES
          t_outtab               = <t_dyntable>.
Any help will be appreciated!

We have been able to identify what causes the MDX driver to error and I will explain what we are trying to implement with the hierarchies.
Firstly, we are creating reports of the HR cube Mutliprovider using the SAP MDX Driver which works well when there are no authorization analysis set on the cube. But with the authorization analysis set for on 0ORGUNIT for BEx Explorer Crystal returns the MDX error.
Each of the Business Unit managers are assigned to an Organization Unit that will be used to restrict the employees that will be reported. To restrict the Managers to only see their Org Unit we have set the 0ORGUNIT object to use authorization ananlysis and a custom authorization variable to return only data for the Org Unit they belong too.
In Crystal this works well when a manager has an Org Unit that is a head department of other Org Units. This scenario will give Crystal the NodeID and Parent NodeID to create the hierarchies in the report. But when a manager does not have any other Org Units beneath there own department then Crystal doesn't have a Parent NodeID to create the Hierarchies with the NodeID. In the RFC trace I can see an error when Crystal is trying to get the Parent NodeID but the user is not authorized to that Org Unit then it throws the error.
We have got a temporary workaround which is to create the managers a dummy Org Unit below their own department. The workaround will do for now but shouldn't the MDX driver be able to recognise that it has returned the last level in the Org Unit Hierarchy and not return an error?
The customer is looking for a product fix as they believe this should be handled by the driver. Is this a bug or a limitation of the product?

• Dump when execute MMPV (Material Ledger is actived)

Hi experts,
This is my scenario:
- We are testing in a Development system (No productive system)
- Material Ledger is actived since 12-2011
- No Material Ledger period end closing made in 12-2011
When we execute MMPV the system shows the dump:    SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
We applied the sap note: 1123034 - MMPV: SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC error in SAPLMLCCS, but the dump continues.
I checked the table ckmlkev and I saw registers to Company Code 0200 Period 2 and Year 2012, however if I check OMSY transaction, I saw only Company Code 0200 Period 1 and Year 2012.
There is something extra to do?
Thanks in advance for  your help,
José Luis

Hi,
This short dump is produced when the system tries to insert a new
entry in table CKMLKEV but a duplicate entry already exists in the same
table.
CKMLKEV indicates in which period which cost component structure is
used for the actual cost component split. CKMLKEV entries are created
by MMPV. Their existance for these periods indicates that the period was
shifted already by MMPV.
What you can do now is the following: please check the period
status in ML.
If the status is undefined, then delete the CKMLKEV entry and re-run
MMPV.
If the status is period opened (or higher), then you have to reset
the MM period.
Best Regards,
Arminda Jack
