Dump while calling a FM in MB_MIGO_BADI

Hi all,
         I am working on badi. In that I am calling the  FM          "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1". while debugging I found that this FM is executing properly and sending a mail to my inbox. But in the standard program its giving dump with FM: "MB_CREATE_MATERIAL_DOCUMENT_UT".
If I comment the FM: "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1" ,
then its not giving any dump.
I could not understand why this is happening.
Individually both are working fine.
Can anybody please help me shy this is happening?

are you using commit work or passing 'X' to this parameter
*"     VALUE(COMMIT_WORK) LIKE  SONV-FLAG DEFAULT SPACE
if so don;t do that. becuase of commit work  some update task terminated. it is adviced not to use commit work inside the badi or exits.

    I have developed a function module in R/3 system and wants to access it in BW system. While checking syntax, it do not give any error. But when I try to execute the function module in BW, I get short dump saying please check the name of the Function Module in SE37.

  • Dump while calling HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

    Hi,
    I'm calling HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION and I'm getting a short dump with ASSIGN_BASE_TOO_SHORT error.
    It's occuring on the line:
    ASSIGN record TO <record> CASTING TYPE (tabname).
    and it appears to be because the field symbol <record> is blank?
    Can someone please explain what's going on and how I can sort this out?

    Have you enhanced an infotype and then processing this infotype through this FM?
    The dump ASSIGN_BASE_TO_SHORT means that the structure of the field symbol (dynamicaly defined in T77D-DBTAB), is bigger than the field structure (typed TABLE HRINNNN).
    Please can you post your dictoinary declaration here (SE11).

    I am working on a webdynpro application and within the application I am calling a adobe form, when I call the adobe form I am getting the following short dump:
    Error in the ABAP Application Program
    The current ABAP program "CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICES==========CP" had to be
    terminated because it has
    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    The following syntax error occurred in program "/1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000027 " in
    include "/1BCDWB/LSM00000027F01 " in
    line 587:
    "Field "BKPF-WAERS" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified t"
    "ables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. ."
    I looked at the adobe form and the interface and the field WAERS is being defined there but I am not sure then why I am getting this dump.
    Can you please help me on this.

    Once again the most important information to answer your question is missing:
    Where is the definition of IT_HEADER?
    I assume you are still using itabs with header lines (which are outdated for almost a decade).
    Why not using a clean and straightforward approach?

    I created popup in  account detail view. I called the popup method 'call method ref2->eh_onconfirm_popup1( ) '.

    its pointing to null reference.I created object and tried now its showing n ull reference and going to dump at
    call method comp_controller->window_manager->create_popup_2_confirm in METHOD eh_onconfirm_popup..

            To give a confirmation pop-up you should place the code within the event which gets trigger at user-action i.e. for eg. if you want to give a pop-up at save action so within EH_ONSAVE event you should give the following piece of code

    its strange and i face first time that my grid alv report goin to short dump while i done subtotals and send it to local file thru export.
    if am not doing subtotals then export it to local file it goin fine.

  • Dump while saving sales order

    Hi,
    I was doing my config from quite a while and was able to save sales orders normally. All of a sudden, I am now unable to save any sales orders. It is throwing a dump while I am trying to save the sales order. The dump details are provided below. I tried debugging the code to an extent and realized that there is some error in acessing access sequences in output determination. Can someone guide me to fix this error please?

    One of the field names in the SELECT clause was not recognized.
    What happened?
    Error in ABAP application program.
    The current ABAP program "SAPLV61Z " had to be terminated because one of the
    statements could not be executed.
    This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
    What can you do?
    Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
    and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
    To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
    You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
    termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
    Error analysis
    An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
    . The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS',
    was neither
    caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure "SEL_KONDTAB"
    "(FORM)"
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
    to occur, the running program was terminated.
    The reason for the exception is:
    The SELECT clause was specified in an internal table at runtime.
    It contains the field name "DATBI", but this does not occur in any of
    the database tables listed in the FROM clause.
    How to correct the error
    The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
    "SEL_KONDTAB"
    "(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
    To prevent the exception, note the following:
    Check the field names in the SELECT clause.
    You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
    in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:

    I faced the similar situation once , in my case when i passed the Delivery indicator value in the Item Table as well as Itemx Table , i was facing this error .
    what  i suggest you is to pass it at the Item table only , not at the itemx Table.
    it worked  for me .

  • Short Dump while maintaining conditions in Product master

    Hi Experts,
    We are getting short dump while we want to maintain conditions in the product master.
    The dump message is as follows -
    CREATE DATA: The specified type "/1CN/WS_ID_300PRODUCTBBP_SKU_T" is no valid 
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.                         
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CREATE_DATA_ERROR', was not     
    caught in                                                                       
    procedure "/SAPCND/MNT_INIT_OW" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a         
    RAISING clause.                                                                 
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the            
    exception would occur, the current program is terminated.                        
    The reason for the exception is:                                                 
    The dynamically specified type "/1CN/WS_ID_300PRODUCTBBP_SKU_T" at CREATE DATA   
    is no valid data type.                                                                               
    The type is either unknown or an object type.                                    
    I checked for OSS note but could not get success and also i could not explore in SDN. Can anybody help me in this.
