Dunning charges question

Hi,
First post on this forum...
I am setting up Dunning and we have a requirement to include charges (in addition to interest charges).
These charges are in line with the "Late Payment of Commercial Debt Act" (UK law) whereby you can charge a fixed sum of £40 per debt under £1,000, £70 between £1000 and £10,000 and £100 for debts over £10.000.
I have configured this (I think) and ran an F150 dunning run.
What I have noticed is that SAP charges 1 charge for the total amount owed by a customer i.e. if the total amount owed is £20,000 the charge is £100.
What I need is each individual invoice to produce a charge - the same way interest is calculated.
So for example, if there are 10 invoices all for £100, the dunning charges calculated should be 10 x £40 = £400, not 1 x £1000 = £70.
Is this possible? Have I just messed up my config or is that just the way it works?
Thanks in advance.

I have 3 dunning procedures. The one I am testing has 5 dunning levels at 1, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days.
Dunning Level              1    2     3    4    5
Days in arrears            1    7    14   21   28
The charges are configured as:
Dunn            From amnt.             Charge
1                    0.00             40.00  GBP
1                 1,000.00             70.00  GBP
1                10,000.00            100.00  GBP
2                    0.00             40.00  GBP
2                 1,000.00             70.00  GBP
2                10,000.00            100.00  GBP
3                    0.00             40.00  GBP
3                 1,000.00             70.00  GBP
3                10,000.00            100.00  GBP
4                     0.00             40.00  GBP
4                 1,000.00             70.00  GBP
4                10,000.00            100.00  GBP
5                     0.00            40.00  GBP
5                 1,000.00             70.00  GBP
5                10,000.00            100.00  GBP
I'm thinking you can't set it to charge per line item - only the total dunned amount per customer...

    hi,
In the BADi BBP_SEND_MEDIUM_MODE, you dont have any incoming parameter on basis of which you can check the mode(Whether CHNAGE or CREATION of PO).If you want to usethis, you will have to use the CHANGE/CHECK badi in combination with this Badi.In the CHNAGE/CHECK badi, you will need to check whether the PO is changed and set a memory paramter.Export this parameter to the badi BBP_SEND_MEDIUM_MODE and acc set the Medium of output.
Another BADi which you can look for is BBP_PROCESS_PO.

  • Charging question considering specific use schedule

IPad 16 WIFI new no issues.
Got a specific battery charging question. Have read the Apple recommendations and would like to get some expanded information considering the specific way I use my IPad please.
I use my IPad 2 days a week; Wed and Fri. At all other times the IPad is not in use.
So far I've simply left it on the AC adapter when not in use and completely drain and recharge the battery every 30th of the month as directed for Lithium batteries by Apple.
    Question is this;
Considering the specific way I use my IPad, should I leave it hooked up to the AC adapter on the days it's not in use, or would it be better to simply charge it back to 100% say on Wednesday after using it then take it off the AC and store it fully charged until Friday when I use it again?
In other words, which way would be OPTIMUM and cause the IPad less battery stress?
Many thanks for your advice on this.
    Dudley Henriques

completely drain and recharge the battery every 30th of the month as directed for Lithium batteries by Apple.
    That's not "directed".
The only reason it is recommended is so the system knows how much battery is left.
In fact, draining lithium batteries is not a good idea as they are not meant for deep cycling.
And completely draining the battery means simply using it till it shuts down (~15%), not till the charge is zero.
I would not recommend leaving it plugged in all the time.
Just use it and charge it when you need to. About once a month, don't charge it and just use it till it shuts down then do a full charge. Again, this is only so the system knows how much battery is left. It's not for "conditioning" the battery.

  • Dunning : charges ?

    Hello experts,
i have configured a minimum dunning charges of 20/- in a particular dun procedure. this dun procedure i have integrated to a customer's master record.
after dun run, i still could not view any line item of dun charges which i guess should appear in the that Customer's account.
does the dun charges produce a line item in that account?
    please help me out.

    Hi,
dunning charge creates no financial entry. Only when / better in case you receive it, you would need to handle it as a special income.
For now, make sure it comes on the form you send to customer.
If someone sends you money you would post it.
    Cheers
    Hein

  • Dunning Program : dunning charges

    Hello Experts,
while dunning we can maintain dunning charges to the customer. I have defined dunning minimum charges + percentage applicable on amount for that dunning level.
does it mean of the two, which is lower is applicable?

percentage gets precedence over minimum fixed value. If you want fixed value to be used, don't maintain the percentage value.

  • IPad 3 Charging question

I just got my iPad 3 today, and it seem like the charger have some problem at first (but now okay, the charger is not charging my iPad 3 at first and I did a reboot, now all good.)
Well my question is, when you turn off your iPad 3 while charging, is that normal that the screen do not display any battery sign?
Just nothing? Or there will be a battery sign (like a green battery telling that you are charging the iPad 3?)

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

  • Important Charging Questions

Recently, I bought an iPod Touch 4G. However, its charger (usb cable) wasn`t included with it. Therefore, my brother had from a long time ago a charger which he got when buying his iPod Touch 2G. By the way, he now uses it with his iPhone 3GS and he thinks that the charger affected his colors.
So I am scared to use his charger on my Touch 4G since it seems that his charger affected his iPhone. I also saw on forums that iPhone 3GS/4G and the iPod Touch 4G had a different voltage than the older ones so using an old charger would affect them.
To this end, here are my questions:
    1. What version of the IPOD Touch and iPhone uses 5V.
    2. What version of the IPOD Touch and iPhone uses 10V.
    3. Using an older charger would affect newer iDevice?
    4. Do wall chargers for iDevices change the voltage?
    Thanks for you help.

Per the following Apple charger description, all the iPhones and iPod Touchs use the the same charger.  It outputs the same voltage (5 V) as a compuer USB port.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB352LL/C?fnode=MTY1NDA4NA&mco=MTM3NDk1MjI
Some early hard-disk iPods used FireWire which is 12 V
Unless the 2G charger was defective, they is not way itcou;d adversely effect an iPhone.

  • Car charger question

ok, they apparently have no car chargers made specifically for the 3g, and some of the older ones are coming up with error messages...I went to the apple store and they said they don't know for sure and can't garauntee anything but sold me one that is basically a carcharger usb converter...He said these have been working...
It seems to work with no error message, but I do hear a VERY FAINT high high pitches hiss(similar to a misquito ringtone) when the phone's screen is on, coming from the charger, not the phone...
I remember this happening with my old clickwheel ipod car charger.
Main question...Is this ok, or is this abnormal? I only got it for emergency use and don't plan to use it unless I have too, untill the new ones come out...Also, where the heck are the 3g cases...They had a bunch of cases my grandma would wear...
***Also, I already lost my cloth, do they sell replacements.(I know any microfiber will do, but I liked that it said iphone on it and was the same size as the phone...lol

The hiss is ok, but you need to be aware that you need to turn your phone feature off while listening to the iPhone in the car radio (that is, put it in airplane mode). The iPhone is not shielded and will cause terrible interference with the car radio signal.

  • Tom Tom iPhone mount charger question + Article about Tom Tom app details

    Hello, all.
First off, here's a handy article posted two days ago from PC World explaining quite a bit more about the Tom Tom iPhone app straight from the horse's mouth so to speak:
    http://www.pcworld.com/article/167906/tomtomforiphone.html
The article states that the Car Kit's "power cable plugs into your car's accessory jack or any USB power source and charges your iPhone while docked."
Here's my question: Since there's no release date in sight for the app and Car Kit, I want to buy a car charger for my iPhone. Would the smartest thing be to buy a charger whose USB cord is separate from the cigarette lighter adapter? That way, buying a charger now won't be a complete waste of money since I could still use the adapter with the Car Kit when it comes out. If I'm understanding that excerpt correctly, it sounds like the Car Kit won't include a built-in cigarette lighter adapter connected to the mounting dock.
Maybe it's too soon to know for sure since the details seem sketchy but I want to get a car charger in the meantime but will hold off if it turns out it will be useless once the Car Kit comes out. Thanks.

Not that I know of but you can opt in for updates at the [TomTom for iPhone|http://iphone.tomtom.com> page..

  • Help, I have a charging question!

Sorry this may be a silly question, but I really don't want to kill my iPod inadvertently. I plugged my iPod into a PC that does not have iTunes on it, i thought it would just charge it. It is flashing do not disconnect at me and there is a little horizontal plug in the battery icon in the upper right corner. is this normal? is my iPod just charging right now?

  • HDMI Multimedia Desktop Charger Question

I'd like to get the the official the HDMI Multimedia Desktop Charger sold by Verizon....it has HDMI out but my main use would be just to play audio only. I would have this on a desk and want to plug it into a pair of powered speakers that has a 3.5mm audio in jack only (Not HDMI) So my questions:
1)Does this dock have an audio only out?
2)Does this dock have only HDMI out?
3)If so is there such a thing as a HDMI to 3.5mm audio adapter available?
    Thanks

The previous post is correct, you can use the headphone jack on the phone while it is in the dock.  As for an HDMI to 3.5, this would not be possible as HDMI is a full digital signal.

  • Another ZM charging question : ZM doesn't stop glowi

    Hi,
sorry for another boring question about charging Zen Micro.
I usually charge my ZM over the AC-plug because the USB-charge is too slow. If I plug the ZM into the charger it starts with this "breathing" glow (you know what I mean ).
Does the micro suppose to stop "breathing" after 3-4 hours of charging ? Because my micro does it but then the led-light doesn*t simply go off... the continue glowing nut with the "normal" glow (not "breathing").
Is it bad for the micro if I let it plugged into the charger over night ans it glows for 7-8 hours (I know that it ist ok for the battery but how is ist for the leds ? ).
    Thanks.
    sorry for my bad english.

"You only need to worry about heat, which would reduce the life of the player. (Or if the glow is keeping you awake...) "
it actually is very bright in the night
"it happened to my micro once, just do what i did. Unplug it(it turns off the light), then plug it back(it turns on ur player automatically), then just turn it off. Never happened to me ever again(hope not jinxing it)"
thanks. i will try it.Message Edited by Baron on 07-7-2005 0:2 PM

  • Semi-Technical Charging Question

I recently got a 30GB iPod w/ Video, and after hearing about the big scandal with iPod batteries years ago, I read all the documentation that Apple puts out on the Lithium-Ion battery cells.
I understand that they have a certain number of charge cycles before they eventually lose the ability to hold a charge. If I listen to the iPod while it's connected to an AC Addapter and charging, it never quite gets fully charged, even if I listen/charge for seveal hours. My question is:
Where does the iPod draw its power from during this type of useage?
Does it 1: Continue to let the iPod run on battery, while simultaneously charging the battery, or 2: Fully charge the battery, and then bypass it and draw charge strictly from the wall?
I guess what it boils down to is: Am I technically going through a charge cycle while I charge and listen at the same time? The obvious follow up being, does this hurt the device in any way?
Thanks, I hope that was articulate enough.
    -Tom
Custom Built CAM III   Windows XP

Don't worry about the battery cycles , that isn't really an important thing to keep track of , you'll know when to change your battery when the battery doesn't hold a charge or any other problems with the battery , and as for your question , no it doesn't use the power from the batter , it uses power from the source ,either from a charger or your computer. A charge cycle isn't how many times you charge your ipod , it's how many times the ipod reaches a certain point everytime you charge it , like a dead battery, when goes to half way that is a charge cyle ( it's not just an example)
I hope I answered you question.

  • N900 Charging Question!

    Hi,
I just wanted to know if there is any way to use a normal Micro USB cable to charge a N900 via the mains (i.e. Mains plug with a Standard USB A Female socket which you can plug any USB cable into) as I have tried with the Nokia data cable and a blackberry USB cable and neither work. They charge fine when connected to a PC, buy why do they not charge if you connect this standard USB cables to the mains?
The main reason I want this is so I don't have to have soo many cables for home and even my car as in both I have a Mains to USB and Cigret lighter socket to USB which work with things like iPhones, Motorola's, etc but why not the Nokia Micro USB cable to the N900???

hi, quick question, how is the support for pdf in n900 phones? i ask because i currently use an e90, i got it because of the wide screen so i could read pdfs without scrolling the document from side to side, previuos to this one i used a windows mobile device, and i could read pdfs but since the screen was small, i had to read either with a very small font, or if i zoomed, i had to scroll the page to read the end of the current line, in each line, which was quite anoying. recently somebody in my household got a n97 mini, and i tried to read the manual from the phone in pdf, after downloading it from nokia, and it turns out i can read pdfs in this device, if i buy the reader, which is supposed to be free (it would be like paying for a flash player).. hmm.. and in the adobe site it says it does not have a reader for this os.. so, if i buy a n900 to replace my current e90, will it have a reader, with unlimited use instead of a 15 days license, or do i have to pay for it, or there is no pdf reader at all?
yes there is a built-in pdf reader, it comes with the device, and its great, very smooth, and does pretty much all what you need, but you have to zoom in one level to get the fonts size good enough, and the rest is all good .
