    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Pranav,
If you want to change these fields while saving the trasaction XD02, use user exit: Enhancement- SAPMF02D and exit: EXIT_SAPMF02D_001 or BADI: CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA.

  • Mass change of customer master data

    Hi,
I would like to do a mass change of customer master data.
I need to remove the international VAT register number for local Polish customers, as we will use the local NIP number for these customers.
Which transaction code do I need to use?
Are there any things I should keep in mind?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Linda

    Hi,
You haev a Transaction called MASS. Please check whether you have the authorization for the same. If you have then it is very much easy for you to maintain the same. If you dont have the MASS authorization then you have to create a LSMW and then make the change.
    Steps:
    1. Enter MASS
    2. Object type - Select KNA1 (avaialble in the drop down) and execute
    3. You should have an option "Customer master (VAT registration numbers general section) " with table KNAS. Execute
You will be able to choose those customers whom you want and make the changes.
    Hope this should help you.

  • Ship-to address changes on customer master not updating orders

We have recently noticed that ship-to address changes on the customer master made with XD02 no longer show up on existing standard orders.  Similar changes to the sold-to addresses do show up but no tthe ship-to addresses.  Does anyone know how we can resolve this problem?

    hi jeff,
the adresses of a partner is
       - with reference to the master-data  ( if unchanges in the Order )
       - of copied in the order and then changed and saved onlyy for the order.
in the first case, a change of the main data will effect a change in the order.
in the second case, the change of the main data will not change the order, data - they are separate.
you can see this in se16 / table vbpa.
    look at the adressnumber.
Adressnumbers of 9++++ are of the 2nd - manual type.
I guess, in the ship to partner, there is done a manual change in the order.
in solt to data normally you don't need such a change. therfor the sold-to partner will get the changes of masterdata -- the ship to partner has manual adress of the orden.

  • Prof Analysis characteristic changes KEA5 Customer Master to Sales Document

    hello gurus
I need some help with this pa configuration change. our office in india wants to amend the 2 characterictics in bold in pa transaction kea5. currently they look at origin table - customer master sales data. charac details below No other changes will be made
charac     desp     sht text     datatype     lngt     origin table     orig field descrip
bzirk     sales district     sistrict     char     6     knvv     bzirk
vkbur     sales office     sales sff.     char     4     knvv     vkbur
business want to change these two characteristics from knvv to pick up the details from sales document order - table vbak for sales office and vbkd for sales district, so it matches with their mcsi. please note a number of changes are required on bw. But I am only concerned about pa changes, my colleagues will pick up bw changes.
please can I get some help with this configuration task, as I've never configured pa - It appears to be more complexed than regular fico config. I believe it is a fairly small change via transaction kea5, is that correct
please kindly provide the following information - 5 points below
    1. intend on deleting these two characteristics linked to knvv and then linking to vbak and vbkd respectively.
    2. the characteristice for vbak and vbkd already exist in config kea5, so I don't believe I need to recreate anything new, just pull in the fields, and link to the relevant characteristics.
    3. please can you confirm if I only need to amend kea5 to configure the above scenario? Or are there any other tables/areas in spro I need to amend.
    4. please can you provide me with step by step details on what I need to do to configure this new characteristic and scenario correctly.
    5. finally please can you provide me details of what testing I need to do to test this change.
    Thank you all very much.
Awaiting feedback from all pa gurus, thanks in advance
    Thanks
    Jay

Hello Ajay / and All -
Thanks very much for your feedback. I have carried out your configuration via KEDR, and created the derivation rule. Is it really as straight forward and I dare not say that easy, to create a new characteristic value.
Is there absolutely no additional configuration required via kea0 - Maintain Operating Concern or kea5 maintain characteristic values. I agree we have added this derivation rule and I can to some extent understand what we've done, but in kea5 and kea0, the old characteristic value and fields are still there - as detailed below. So it is still mapping to the old characteristic values, I can only assume this derivation rule overwrites what is in kae5 and kae0, is that correct.
charac  desp             sht text  datatype  lngt origin table orig field descrip
bzirk      sales district  sistrict   char         6        knvv           bzirk
vkbur    sales office     sales sff. char     4        knvv           vkbur
I just want to make extra sure, I don't need to delete these old characteristic values, and add the new characteristic values to KEA5 and KEA0. The new characteristic values are not on kae5 and kae0 - hence my concern.
Please kindly confirm configuration if any addition config is required, or only changes via KEDR as explained in your previous reply.
Thanks again for your help - Much Appreciated.

  • Address change in customer master

    Hi Experts,
I have cretaed sales order and processed it with one customer.Created Delivery and posted goods issue.
After that I have changed the address of the customer and noticed that the adress is changed in the processed order also.
I would to like to know what is base intension of this.
    Please help me out
    Thank you
    Regards,
    Nagi Reddy

    Dear Nagi,
All Customer Address are stored in a central table - ADRC.
Infact this ADRC is the Master Table of all addresses in system (It is used for addresses of Customer, Vendors, other Business Partner, etc)
So any change you make in Customer Master Record in XD02 / VD02 it would change the entry in the ADRC & would show this effect in all the past documents also (like Sales Orders / Deliveries, etc).
This is SAP standard & you cannot change it.
Address details are only exception here. Rest all other data like payment terms, Condition record data are document specific. Meaning once the Document is created & saved any change in the Master Record would not impact the aleready processed documents.
Alternatively you can change the Customer Address while processing Sales Order:
VA02 - Double Click on Customer code & you will go to Header - partner screen.
Here once again click on required Partner code & you will go to Address screen. Here you can change the address (which is proposed from Customer Master record). This address change in Sales Order would be applicable only for the particular Sales Order & its subsequent documents. The Master Record would not be changed.
    Hope this helps...
    Thanks,

  • VAT Rate change on Customer master (F0301)

    Hi All,
Does anyone have any idea why when I update the tax rate on the Customer Master F0301 (A5TXA1) on the access database, the change is not reflected on the screen when re enquiring? However, if I make the change on the customer Master screen within JDE, it changes the value on the F0301. Am I going mad or am I missing a step?
    Many Thanks

this sounds, that you work with the Oracle E-Business Suite.
There is a forum for you in the OTN, where you get the answer. The forms-forum is not the best place for getting such answers.

    Hi,
In your partner determination procedure for Customer master, apart from assigning a Pratner proc to your A/c grp, you also need to maintain the combination of your a/c group with the partner functions that you have in your procedure.
On the left side panel, you have a link (i think 5th) saying Account group - Function assignment. In this, maintian the partner functions that you want to your a/c grp.
This will allow taking INTERNAL numbers during customer creation.
Thanks and reward points if useful

  • Changes to Customer Master

In the customer master transaction, it picks up all changes made to a customer (whether it be a name changed, address change, etc...). It has the date and time stamps associated with the field changes. Does anybody know which table is being used to store these information?
I need to be able to get any changes related to the contact info (name, adrress, and phone). I would like to be able to pick up these changes from whatever table the customer master is using and modify my process from there.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
check the Customer master table CSKS and get the latest records with changed on date or by user if you know of it and you can manipulate those records.
    Award points if it helps.

  • Transportation zone can't be change in Customer Master

    Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding changing the Transportation zone in Customer Master. This area is being greyed out as I cannot change it. Even if I extend the Customer,  the field for Transportation zone is greyed out. My question is, how can I change the transportation zone for an existing customer?
    Best Regards,
    Saravanand

    Hi
Transportation zone of the customer master is copied from the genenral data - address tab to the sales area data - shipping tab.
in OBD2 if you maintain general data - address as required or optional you can change in the customer master of general data - address tab, if you changed here it will copied to sales area - shipping tab
