Dunning Printing

Hi colleagues,
I am running the Dunning Wizard but I am having problems when printing the letters.
I set the Dunning Settings to One Letter per BP and ticked the Apply Letter Template by Highest Level option. In spite of this, when I choose to print preview a letter for a certain Business Partner who has letters falling in more than one dunning level, the letters for all the business partners are being displayed in the print preview.
I want the print preview to show me the invoices of different levels for one business partner only and not of all business partners. Any help please?
Thanks,
vankri

Many thanks for the reply Gordon Du, I agree with you.
Those are the settings which I have on the system, but when I select a business partner and click on print preview it gives me the following error:
Internal Error (-100) occurred [131-183] and it opens a print preview with 542 blank and greyed-out pages.
However when I do the same on the test server (which is a replica of the live), it works fine as you explained to me with the same options.
Any help pls?
Thanks,
vankri

• Dunning Print Error: F150_DUNN_01 does not exist

Hi,
I have assigned F150_DUNN_01 via FBMP T-code for Dunning texts. While performing the Dunning print I am getting an error "Text object does not exist" or F150_DUNN_01" does not exist.
The Event settings via T-code BF31 for event 1720 is "FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF"
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated
Thank you
Vignesh

Hi Eli,
Form F150_DUNN_01 is a SAP script form and not Smartform.
I am able to print preview the form text via se71 by print testing. So I do not think we need to reimport it. Can you identify any other reason for the error
Thanks

• Spool Request Not Created for Dunning Printing

Hi,
We are running Dunning Program and Printing dunning Letters, system automatically printing Dunning letter and finishing the printing job, not generating any Spool Request.
For testing purpose, we re-generated dunning letters through from DUNNING History, there system Generating Spool request.
Any guess, do we missing something to generate Spool request in Dunning printing through normal process, we are using Zform.

Dear,
If it is Z program then please debug the same with the help of ABAper and check if the data is picked or not also you can check with your Basis Consultant.

• Dunning - Print all items

Hi,
I have set in SPRO for dunning:
dunning level print all items
1
2 X
3 X
4 X
When I run transaction F150, I have 1 item in level1 and 3 items in level2, no exist another open items.
I use form created in smartforms (copy from F150_DUNN_SF)
When I print form for level2, I have in form only 3 items. But they would have to be 4 items, I think when I check "Print all items".
I tried it also F150_DUNN_SF - and some result.
Kindly let me know why don't print 4 items?
Regards, Jaroslav

Hi ramanuje
I don't understand your answer.
I have form Z_F150_DUNN_SF (copy form F150_DUNN_SF). Have I check write in its?
Where? In initialization? In initialization I have CALL FUNCTION 'GET_SF_DUNN_DATA' that return 3 items. After that follows:
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
SY-MSGID = 'FM'.
SY-MSGTY = 'E'.
SY-MSGNO = 461.
raise others.
ENDIF.
h_t040a-text1 = space.
show_interest = space.
loop at th_mhnd into mhnd where xzins = ' '.
show_interest = 'X'.
exit.
endloop.

• Dunning print with a SMARTFORM

Hi all,
I'm working (on ECC6 release) with dunning process (transaction F150) in which I have to print dunnings with a SMARTFORM.
In Customizing (SPRO->Financial Accounting(New)->Account Receivable and Accounr Payable->Business Transaction->Dunning->printout->assign dunning forms) I linked my SMARTFROM Z to 1 dunning level.
With the BTE I linked the event 1720 to the function SI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SMARTF in which the funcion PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SF is called.
Inside the function PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SF the system fills some structures (gs_fs_mhnk, gs_sf_fsabe, gs_sf_t047, ....) and then call in a right wy SMARTFORM but when the dynamic function "fm_name" is called the only parameter passed (behind the other classic parameters xxxx) is SFPPARAM. This parameter (SFPPARAM-CONTENT) is filled with this strange string in which there are some (useful for my SMARTFORM) values:
"6002007103010SOL1DZ0010000176001 0 2007103020071030 00000000Z0011ZCEUR ##ခ獬##ခ獬##### "
before the dynamic function "fm_name" but when I enter in my SMARTFORM I don't see its value. Why?
How can I pass this values or the standard structures (gs_fs_mhnk, gs_sf_fsabe, gs_sf_t047, ....) to my SAMRTFORM?
Any help?
thank you

I used the best-practice tools for the dunning notice, if you used this you will find a complete smartforms ready to be used.

• Interest Calculation in Dunning & Print Correspondence...

Dear Experts...
The below settings are in place.
1) Interest is calculated along with dunning level 2. Config is done for the same.
2) Ther are 2 customized Zforms available for DL2 notice letter and interest invoice.
3) Correspondence Type 0003 & 0007 are available for dunning & interest notification respectively.
Requirement:
Once DL2 is carried out, the interest is also posted in contract account , but correspondence DOES NOT print the Interest invoice through T Code: fpcopara, but the dunning letter for DL2 is printed in fpcopara.
May I know any function module to be attached in either Dunning activity or Correspondence so that the interest notification is also printed simaltaneously after dunning notice is printed.
Also mention any other config setting to be maintained in both Dunning & Correspondence.
Note: No separate Interest Run(T Code: FPINTM1) is carried out. Interest Key is assigned in dunning itself.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
B.Kartthik.

Hi,
Maybe the easiest way would be to adapt your dunning form to print as a second page the interest notice? I've already done this for the interest over installment plans as we need them to be printed as an invoice (With official document number). In FKKMAKO you have the interest document number (Field MIBEL) that you can use during the printing to trigger the second page.
I don't know any specific activity to generate the interest notice during dunning, but you can create it by creating a new function module using sample FKK_FILL_SAMPLE_0350 that will call the interest notice trigger event (FKK_SAMPLE_0713) to create a second correspondence container during dunning. If you create the correspondence container like this it will be then normally printed with FPCOPARA.
Regards,
Adriano da Silva.

• Dunning printing Issue

Hi Experts,
when we create a dunning cycle, it is supposed to generate more than 7000 pages to print. Problem is that the job is interrupted after 30 mn (it takes too much time).i'm getting runtime error time out.
I checked with OSS note and implemented OSS n° 1253425 (Dunning: Spool request - too many pages)
But still my problem is not solved.
Thanks in advance.

• Dunning: Print only a few levels

Hello
We have a requirement of maintaining 6 levels of dunning but allowing printing for only first 2 levels.
Please can anyone suggest on this requirement. Thanks in advance.
Regards
Geoff.

Dunning form is printed based on the "Maintain Dunning Procedures: Dunning texts" step in dunning config (SPRO: FI>AR & AP> BT> Dunning). Please assign the dunning form only to the first 2 levels, and delete the assignment from other level (3-6)
Thanks

• Dunning : print date and indicator not updated

Hello everybody !
We recently extended our dunning procedures to another company. In this company, after printing is completed, data in dunning file are not correctly updated : printing and notice dates, as well as "itemd printed" indicators contain no data ! Notices are correctly printed, job logs do not state any error, and procedure status is "select and print is completed". Compared with other companies, customizing, parameters and dunning procedure seem to be exactly the same ! Has anybody any idea about this problem ? Many thanks in advance !
J-D.

Hello ! Thanks for this info, but I don't know how to display the properties of the output message for dunnings ! Can anybody explain the way to check the output type and how this type could modify the update of the database ?
thank you for any answer !

• Dunning in ECC 6.0 UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CHARLIKE Dump

Hi,
We are doing an upgrade from 4.6 to ECC 6.0 and when we execute transaction F150 for dunning we get the following runtime error does anyone have any idea what might cause this or how to resolve it.
Runtime Errors UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CHARLIKE
Date and Time 03.10.2007 11:26:12
Short text
The current statement is only defined for character-type data objects.
What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSTXV" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
For the statement
"IF ... op1 CO op2 ..."
only character-type data objects are supported at the argument position
"op1".
In this case. the operand "op1" has the non-character-type "P". The
current program is a Unicode program. In the Unicode context, the type
'X' or structures containing not only character-type components are
regarded as non-character-type.
How to correct the error
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CHARLIKE" " "
"SAPLSTXV" or "LSTXVFXX"
"FORMAT_SYMBOLVALUE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

It's a SAPscript issue, and it depends whether it's standard SAP or something you've done yourself. Looking at the call stack it appears to be standard SAP so I'd suggest searching on OSS. Avoid searching on "SAPLSTXV" , "LSTXVFXX" or
"FORMAT_SYMBOLVALUE" as these are generic SAPscript terms.

• Dunning letter BG

I would like to display 4 levels in script for dunning letter BG for Bank Guarantee.
Bank Guarantee Dunning letters (BGDL) are reminders that are sent out to customers with overdue and outstanding Bank guarantees.
In KONE Germany 4 dunning levels will be used; the 4 th dunning level represent the legal level.
Officially Germany has only 3 dunning levels for output but use the 4 dunning level plus a manual to-be enter dunning block, to track the legal cases.
The first dunning letter will be sent out to the customer (AR) if he has outstanding BG that are overdue.
Dunning level 2 will be used for outstanding open items that are 14 days overdue.
Dunning level 3 will apply to outstanding open items that are 28 days overdue.
Dunning level 4 represent the legal dunning after 42 days overdue and special dunning block after given to layer or collection agency. No dunning print out.
I copied standard script and doing changes .
Configuration location is given below.
Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Dunning > Dunning Procedure > Define Dunning Procedures (F150)
u2022 Program Name: RIPRJT00 and form name F150_BE_DUNN_01.
Any body knows dunning letter form user want to display form in 4 levels .
1st level contain different infomation
2nd level contain different information
3rd level contain different information
4th level contain different information
user is creating test data for each form when he select first level it should trigger first level dunning information same way all levels.
Which base it will trigger I am thinking it will trigger by text element
1st level text element 511
2nd level text element 512
3rd level text element 513
4th level text element 514
Please suggest me the logic for doing.

We have customized Dunning Letter
It used to work perfectly sometime back ...I dont know what went wrong suddently it is giving error when tried to run Custom Dunning Letter Print gving error "The file cannot be opened because it has no pages." [/b
Not able to understand what might be wrong??
I checked data for one customer in EBS (Customers>Customer Standard>Input customer number (xxxxxx)>Button Find>Button Ok>Button Open>Tab Characteristics) Even though in EBS form I saw that Language field contains value but respective field in DB was empty.
My question when we run Dunning Letter from which level does oracle picks up the language??
Is it from Address level of the customer??
We have different environments which are clones of production. when I tried to run Dunning Letter in DEV environment which is used for building and testing which was a recent clone of production, it worked for me...not able to understand why it is not working in production??

• F150 Dunning printout - Termination Error

Dear Experts
At T.Code F150 Dunning proposal run, if we execute "Dunning Proposal" and if we want to delete it then system permits us to delete the Dunning Proposal.
However, in some cases, system shows everything correct at Dunning Proposal but when we execute "Dunning Print out" system give error message like "Dunning Printout as terminated". In this case, we figure out the problem and re-run dunning printout to solve the problem.
However, I would like to know, Is there any possibility that we can delete "Dunning run" completely when dunning printout is ended up at "Termination" error?
Thanks in advance for the help.
best reg
S. Habib Pasha.

Dear friend
Agreed. However, live situation is User has performed Dunning run for all customer by mistake, where is not suppose to. and this dunning run is ended up with "Duning printout terminated" error.
If we fix the termination reason and complete the dunning then all outputs will go to customers automatically by e-mails from SAP. and we want to stop this.
hope I am clear and the requirment we are looking at...
best reg

• Dunning letters with smartforms

Hi everyone,
I want to use the standard smartform F150_DUNN_SF to create dunning letters but I can't select it in SPRO > FI accounting >... > Dunning > Print
I can only select SAPscripts.
I've already done the note which consists in changing the FM FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE to FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SMARTF with FIBF transaction. Nothing happened. There's still no way to select smartforms...
Does anyone know how to manage it ?
Thanks,
Regards.

Thanks for your answer
I have begin to assign print program for dunning notice in the transaction FIBF.
On the SAP Business Framework: Business Transaction Events screen, from the menu bar choose Settings -> P/S function modules -> u2026 of an SAP appl.
In the Function module box next to FIFI, I have enter the print program FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SMARTF.
and I have save the changes.
In the transaction FBMP. Dunning Procedure : Dunning texts
when i do display for for ZF150_DUNN_SF.
I have the message : Form ZF150_DUNN_SF language EN is not available in client 120
Message no. TD131.
I have see OB96 but I have a problem with the creation for my driver program.
I use the smartform F150_DUNN_SF.
I create a copy : ZF150_DUNN_SF.
I create a driver program :
