Dunning Run - Printing Termination Error

Friends,
We have a dunning run dated 20-Dec-2006 that is repeatedly giving the error 'Printout terminated'. This dunning run has also locked some of the customer accounts. As a result, we are not able to carry out further dunning runs.
Please advise urgently how to solve the problem.
Thanks & Regards,

  • Printing Terminated Error 5751

    Hi Folks
I certainly appreciate all the great advice on the boards, I am trying to solve a problem (again) on my boss' computer. I posted on the same problem back in Janaury, Niel posted a suggestion which worked then, but does not seem to work now. Sorry for the long post, but I am trying to give all the details.
He is working in MacDraw under Classic trying to print to a Laserjet 2015. It has been printing fine since the last fix, now the problem is back. There are multiples of the same printer in the printer list, i.e HP Laserjet 2015 (0C4FID), HP Laserjet (10E602), plus more. The printer is connected via the network and I can access it via Safari which seems to find it easily. But when I go to print, it gives me "printing terminated Error 5751" message. This is regardless of the printer I attempt to use.
I've repaired permissions on both OSX and OS9, restarted Classic, restarted the machine. I've gone in to the system/extensions/ folder and looked for duplicate names to delete, and can find none or even the name of the Laserjet printer at all. A search finds no printer name anywhere.
I am gettting ready to tear out what little hair I have left, and my boss wants to print to his printer on his desk. Of course, since switching to OSX some years back now, I don't remember much about OS9 anymore, and if it was my choice, he'd be using something other than MacDraw that runs under OSX, but I don't have much of a say in the matter. I really want to solve this problem, there are still Macs in the office, but the computer guy (a PC person) wants to switch all the others but mine over to PCs, and this gives him more ammunition. Help!
    Thanks for your thoughts
    Ken Miller

    Hi, Ken -
To get rid of the extra printer names, try throwing away the file named LaserWriter 8 Prefs, which can be found here - System Folder >> Preferences >> Printing Prefs >> LaserWriter 8 Prefs. This is assuming that you are using LaserWriter 8 as the printer driver; I do with my HP 4000N printer. If you are using a different driver, then look in the Printing Prefs folder or the Preferences folder for a preferences file with its name.
Once you throw away the preferences file, restart. You may need to reselect the printer in Chooser and set it up again.
Make sure there is a file named the same as the printer model in the Parsed PPD folder, which is also in the Printing Prefs folder. This file is placed there by the OS as part of the setup process for the printer.
Error 5751 does not appear in the listings for Apple error codes. This listings are probably a bit out of date, but it may mean that that error code is one generated by HP's software, and specific to that. It would not hurt to go to HP's website and see if you can get a translation for that code there.

    Hi,
After creating the Dunning, i.e. after maintaining the parameters, Dunning RUN should be done.
At this time, based on the customer and company code and other relevant dependent data, it any suitable documents are found, then only it will generated the dunning letters and can be seen in the job which is created in SM37.
So first check whether any data is populated or not.
Then only the similar data can be printed.
You can also check in the dunning history.

  • F150 Dunning printout - Termination Error

    Dear Experts
At T.Code F150 Dunning proposal run, if we execute "Dunning Proposal" and if we want to delete it then system permits us to delete the Dunning Proposal.
However, in some cases,  system shows everything correct at Dunning Proposal but when we execute "Dunning Print out" system give error message like "Dunning Printout as terminated".  In this case, we figure out the problem and re-run dunning printout to solve the problem.
However, I would like to know,  Is there any possibility that we can delete "Dunning run" completely when dunning printout is ended up at "Termination" error?
Thanks in advance for the help.

    Dear friend
Agreed.  However, live situation is User has performed Dunning run for all customer by mistake, where is not suppose to.  and this dunning run is ended up with "Duning printout terminated" error.
If we fix the termination reason and complete the dunning then all outputs will go to customers automatically by e-mails from SAP.  and we want to stop this.
hope I am clear and the requirment we are looking at...

  • Centralized  Dunning run and local printing requirement

    Hello SAP FICO experts,
I have a requirement at my client as follows.
To schedule dunning run centrally  for all company codes or selected company codes periodically and automatically.
Ability to print dunning letters in local offices in each country.
So far the users are manually scheduling the dunning run, going forward they want to automate the dunning run centrally and print dunning letters manually in each country.
Please advise me on what are the steps to implement this solution.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ramana

    Hi Devendar
You should maintain the factory calender properly. As per your replay it has been mentioned that dunning procedure requires Holiday calender  which is all right. But Holiday calender is always integrated with factory calender and you are assigning Holiday calender means factory calender is also linked with dunning procedure. Pl see the screen shot how it is integrated. In this screen saturday & sunday is holiday with other public holiday as under.
Therefore make the above . It is working properly. If due date falls on friday with 2 days of grace, in that case if you run the dunning notice on monday ,1st notice will be generated. Regarding the resetting of grace what you have mentioned will not be there. Because the customer has already availed 2 days of grace with in the holiday and giving another extra 2 days as grace by resetting is not possible in the system. Logically it is not required also, you can explain the client.
Actually the grace period is there to generate the dunning notice after the grace period is over only and nothing else. The real over due date is calculated from the due date of the bills. That is why it is not also logical to make again delay in generating dunning notice by another 2 days by resetting the system, therefore not provided in the system.
Pl go through and award points if helpful.

  • HOW TO DELETE DUNNING RUN AFTER PRINT OUT?

    Dear all,
does anybody know if it's possible to cancel a dunning run after the notices have been printed (except manually by changing all documents and all master data)
    WITH ADVANCE THANKS
    KRISHNA KUMAR

    Hi Krishna,
Why do you want to re-run the Dunning run after printing them out?
Anyway there is a program SAPF150D2 that enables you to re-edit the Dunning run. However whilst a Dunning letter is not a legal letter it is binding and so to add some control to SAP I am sure there is not a way where you can cancel the run and start again. What is to say that you send the wrong letters out.
You can create a simple program to go to FB09 to delete the Dunning level and the date of the last Dunning run.

  • Log of print out of dunning runs?

    Hi All,
Can someone please let me know in which table I can find a log of the "print out of dunning runs"?
I have made a test in T. code F150. I selected a printer and did a dunning run in Belgium for a Danish customer.
The status is: Select and print is complete.
In table  MAHNV I see the dunning run, dunning date, selection:2 and printed: F.
According to a person in Denmark, the dunning forms were not printed on that printer in Denmark.
What can be the reason why it is not printed?
Thank you for giving your comments.
    Kind regards,
    Linda

    Hello
Search in T-Code SLG1. You'd get the list of all logs
    Hope this helps

  • SAPF150D-Dunning Notice Print - With Update of Line Items and Master Record

When I am running this program SAPF150D(Dunning Notice Print - With Update of Line Items and Master Records) with a variant containing run date, runc id, update mode, pimmed & pcount; the job is failing to execute. It is giving message like,
"The field symbol is no longer assigned because there was an attempt makde previously in a Unicode program to set the field symbol using ASSIGN with offset and/or length specification. Here, the memory addressed by the offset/length specification was not within the allowed area."
    "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED_RANGE" "SAPF150D" or "F150DFS0" "SORTFELDER_ERMITTELN"

    Hi,
    Search for routine FORM SORTFELDER_ERMITTELN
    in SAPF150D.
    Put a breakpoint in statement
    ASSIGN (T047F-FELDN) TO <H1>.
in above routine and debug to the point where error is occuring.
Most likely there is a mismatch in the length assigned to some field FELDN in table T047F.
In that case, simply change the T047F-LENGT field accordingly in change mode.
    Cheers,
    Vikram

    Hi Sundar,
Your requirement can be achieved by configuration.
Go to the following path in SPRO-
    IMG->Financial Accounting->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->Business Transactions->Dunning->Dunning by Dunning Procedure->Configure Dunning Procedure.
After configuring the dunning procedure, when you are creating the individual dunning levels for a particular dunning procedure, there is "History and dunning print out" section , where in you will a "Print All items" check box.
If you set this indicator, all open items that fulfill the same criteria for dunning grouping are printed on a dunning notice.
If this indicator is not set, only those items due to be dunned are printed (the items that have reached the number of days in arrears).
So in your scenario, it will not be set, then only the item which has hit level 2 will go to the customer.
    Hope it helps.....
    Thanks,
    Amlan

  • Account is blocked by dunning run

    Hi,
after i have run dunning for customers and if i look into log i see that for some customers dunning didn't run.
Account D 0000010900 is blocked by dunning run 20080820 82008.
There is any transaction where i can block/unbloc customers for dunning? From where came that blocking?
    Any idea/hint/clue would be apreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi Dan,
With reference to the above issue, please have a look at note 186095.
186095  Error message FM120 during dunning
Actually the concept behind blocking customer accounts is to avoid multiple dunning against the same customer account.  However once the the dunning run was completely finished and gets printed  the lock must get removed on those customer accounts. But some times there is a chance that lock entries shall not get deleted from the table MAHNS. In that case you can make use of the attached notes 186095 to manually delete the blocked entries from the table MAHNS.
Also please check the other following notes relevant to the issue
12896 Deleting lock entries in MAHNS
9826 Account && is blocked by dunning run <date>
    Hope it helps.
