The foregoing list shows that I do not have sufficient disk space. Oracle Install documentation says I should have 3GB for a full install. My second hard disk should be able to handle this, but I do not know yet how I can add more disk space to the file system. Can you please tell me how I can do this?
Meanwhile I am deleting the 13 files 9iAS10220_part1 through 9iAS10220_part13 to free up some disk space. Having extracted files and created Disk1 through Disk5, I do not think I will need these 13 files anymore.
I am still trying to understand what runInstaller script is trying to do.

  • Duplex Printing in Reports 3.0

I am trying to print a report on both sides of the paper, using Reports 3.0. I have no problem doing this with Reports 2.5. The printer properties have been set properly, so it must be the report. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanx
Some details: (I'm not sure which, if any, are relevant)
    - "Logical Horizontal Panels" property of report = 2
    - "Panel Print Order" property of report = "Across/Down" ("Down/Across" makes no difference)
    - "Print on both sides" in printer properties is set to "Flip on long edge"

  • Duplex printing with eprint?

Can I use duplex printing with eprint?  If not, won't use much.

    Hi valkman1291,
Unfortunately the option to use duplexing is not available in ePrint.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

  • How to duplex print with HP 200 Laserjet?

I'm having trouble duplex printing with my new Macbook Pro. Any suggestions? I have reloaded print drivers- Originally I was not able to select double sided printing but now I can, but it does not actually print double sided.

For cases where there is no hardware duplexer and the manufacturer's driver does not support manual duplexing, you could try HP's two-sided printing PDF workflow.  I have not tried that for quite a while, so I can't guarantee it still works with the latest version of OS X.

  • Duplex printing with a twist

I have a document that I need to print duplexed, but the duplexing only is done when X happens.  For example, this document has to do with account balances for a specific project.  If the project doesn't fit on one page, I want to print the balance of the information on the back page.  But whenever a new project begins, I need to make sure it starts on a new page - not on the back of a previous project.  Is this possible?  This report comes from a SQL reporting services report and I understand this type of logic is not available on this.  I'm hoping I can find a way to do it in Acrobat Professional 8 or 9.

  • HP Laserjet p2015d auto duplex printing with Windows 7 64 bit operating system

I have used the HP Laserjet p2015d with Windows 7 32 bit operating system and have been able to use the AUTOMATIC DUPLEX feature of the printer without problems.
Now, however, I have installed the 64 bit version of Windows 7 operating system and the AUTO DUPLEX does not work and is not shown as being available on the PROPERTIES menu of the printer.
Is it possible to use the AUTO DUPLEX  feature of  the printer with Windows 7   64 bit  operating system.
All replies welcomed!   Aaron in Calif.

    Hi Aaron,
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
    Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.
Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

  • Duplex printing with HP Color Laserjet 4650dn

    Dear all,
I wanted to print the handouts of a Powerpoint presentation (Office for Mac 2008, v12.2.5), but could not get a double-sided copy. The printer (HP CLJ 4650 dn) is installed with the OS X 10.6.4 embedded drivers etc. as HP CLJ 4650. Works fine otherwise.
The settings for the printer in System Preferences/Print Fax/General indicate that I apparently have a driver version 16.4. By accessing the Printer Webpage I have set the duplex option ON and checked all the other options for there settings. As far as I know it seems correct.
I have ticked the box Duplex Unit in System Preferences/Print Fax/Driver.
However, when I want to print the slides/handouts and open the print window I can only see Manual Duplex as an option in the drop-down menu Copies & Pages. No straight forward Duplex Printing or Automatic Duplex Printing option whatsoever of which the printer is capable.
No problem with the two remaining MS Windows Vista PC's, which frustrates me.
Have I missed something? Or done something wrong/different?
If anyone has a suggestion I would be grateful.
    Kind regards,
    John Keasberry

Have you taken a look to the configuration of the Printer? I have a HP 2340 with duplex and to configure it I have to do the following:
On the Preferences Pane, click on Printing and Fax or open the Printer configuration Utility. In any case, click on the printer and choose "Configuration of the printer" (in the Printer utility this is in the pritner menu). Then you will see information of the printer... May be there you have an option to activate the duplex... In may case there is a checkbox.
But may be you have done this...
    Bests,
    Álvaro

  • Duplex printing with officejet pro 8000

I am using this officejet pro 8000 to print up some newsletters.  When printing a two sided copy (duplex printing) something happens which changes my border setting.  Printing the exact same document, but electing one-sided copy renders a perfect border.  I would not have a problem copying just one side, then re-loading those in order to make two-sided copies, but the friction caused by the ink on the pages causes mulitple sheets to feed at the same time, jamming the printer.  Has HP ever come up with a fix for this?  I have seen this problem on the net, but the best folks have done (that I have seen) is to upload drivers for older machines.  This has rendered good borders on duplex prints, but diminishes the quality of the print copy.  Whatcha think?

    Terrible Tom wrote:
Since updating to Snow Leopard, I have had serious problems duplexing. Under the print dialogue window, there is no option to duplex. H.P. blames Mac. Mac blames H.P. I can duplex by going to "layout" and where it says "duplexing off" selecting "long-edge binding" will work. How dumb. Mac Help senior customized my settings by adding "duplex printing" to the "Presets" list.
Are you using the latest drivers from HP? If I set up a printer with the HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809 Series PPD, I can see Two-Sided to the right of Collated if the HP Two-sided Printing Accessory (Duplexer) is checked in the Print & Fax -> Options & Supplies -> Driver tab. If this is not checked, Two-Sided won't appear.
MAC HAS TO CREATE A PATCH TO SIMPLIFY THIS SNOW LEOPARD ERROR!
Apple doesn't write the HP software.
    Hope this helps.

  • Duplex printing with cups

    Hi,
We have a bunch of Macs all running 10.4.9 (Client) which are unable to print double-sided documents to our printer which is hosted by a redhat enterprise server (v4.4) box, cups version 1.2. The annoying thing is everybody else (windows, linux) can. The printers are set up as A4 paper size, the Macs see that and we see the duplex option in the print dialog box but the printouts come out single-sided with a blank sheet at the end. Another aspect is that when we add a printer using System prefs>Print & Fax etc the cups printer description is displayed as the printer name in the set up dialog on the Mac. Has anybody come across this before and, more importantly, does anybody know how to solve this problem?
    Cheers,
    Matt

Can you tell us which driver you are using on the Mac's. If it is the included GIMP-Print drivers, try the new Gutenprint 5.0.0 drivers.
Also, you may want to check the printer info in case you have to add the duplex option. And also try setting the Page Setup > 'Format for' in the application for the printer, rather than any printer, as this can impact duplex printing for some printers.
Re the printer description being displayed, I know that when you add a network printer the IP address or DNS name is shown as the printers name in the Printer List. You can select it and do a Get Info to rename it.

  • HP Pro 200 M276nw Color Printer Duplex printing with Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10

So, I have been trying to use the duplex printing feature with my Mac. However, I havne't been able to figure it out. I see the option for manual duplex printing, but the actual duplex printing feature is not working.
    Any advice?

    Hi @joshcooley09 ,
I see that you are experiencing issues duplexing from Yosemite. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Did you download and install the latest software for Yosemite for the printer?
HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M276 Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name. (Laserjet M276)
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Now try and print two sided.
On the File menu, click the Print option.
Open the Finishing menu, and click the Manual Duplex tab or open the Manual Duplex menu.
Click the Manual Duplex box and select a binding option.
Click the Print button. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window that appears on the computer screen before replacing the output stack in Tray 1 for printing the second half.
If the issue persists, connect the printer to the Mac by a USB cable and test the printer. Just to rule out a network issue, if the printer is networked.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!

  • Duplex printing in reporting services

I have been working on this problem for days. I have a report that is grouped
and will be printed duplex (front and back). There is a page break after each
group. I want to ensure that the start of a new group does not end up printed
on the back side of an old group. For example:
Page 1 (printed on front side of paper): group 1
Page 2 (printed on back side of paper): more group 1
Page 3 (printed on front side of paper): more group 1
Page 4 (printed on on back side of paper): group 2  <--- This is a problem
    I need:
Page 1 (front side): group 1
Page 2 (back side): more group 1
Page 3 (front side): more group 1
Page 4 (back side): <This Page Intentionally Left Blank>
Page 5 (front side): group 2
Issues that I've run into include the fact that SSRS renders the entire body
first, before rendering the header/footer. This prevents the body of the
report from knowing which page it will end up on when it is rendered (and is
also why you cannot reference Globals!PageNumber from the body).
The restriction above also prevents using a variable in custom code to know
when to generate a page break. If you set this variable in the header/footer
then the body will never see it as the entire body is rendered first and will
therefore only see the initial state of the variable.
I have seen this issue posted in a number of places,
but no one ever has a solution to this (except switching back to
Crystal Reports).  Have any MVPs ever addressed this issue?  I am
really hoping someone can offer a good solution or work-around.

  • Booklet / Duplex printing with cover

Using MS Word 2010 and have successfully used bookfold to print in landscape, 2 pages per sheet and in duplex mode. 36 pages printed on 9 sheets ( 4 x 9 =36)
Word prints from inside, ie center pages and finishes with the cover. after re inserting the copies for duplex, the printing is finished leaving a booklet ready to fold and staple.  No rearranging pages, hassle free and all in order.
This printer has only one tray. Till now I have counted out my 8 sheets and then slipping in the cover page at the bottom, making it the 9th sheet.  I want to avoid this strategy of counting out the sheets.
In printer properties--> paper/quality, there is a special pages option.  The options are covers and print pages on different paper.  I am trying to learn how to use this option.
My goal is to manually feed the cover stock, print on the cover, and automatically print the other sheets. By manually feeding the cover, the program has to count out the 8 sheets of regular paper..  Recognizing that page setup may require different selections to accomplish the printing.  What would the selections now have to be?
So to start the printing, manually feed in the cover, print on regular paper, then flip on short edge to complete duplex printing.
    Or
print the first x number of sheets, manually request insertion of the cover as the last sheet, and then flip for the duplex printing.
How does Word define "cover" when I think of "cover" just like the paper jacket on a book.
So the request is how to get Word to ask to load one sheet of cover stock and automatically print the remaining sheets..
Looking forward to suggestions, Thanks all

  • Duplex printing with the MG3150

I have a 36 page document which is A4 in size folding to A5 and I want to print it out as a finished file and I was wonderig if anyone has any information about the duplex feature with the Canon MG3150.
