Duplex printing of Customer statment using XMLP

We want to print a customer statement double sided. The customer total and footer should only appear on the last page. Since the statement can be of multiple pages, the new customer should always start at the even numbered page. This is similar to putting 'This page has been left blank intentionally' text on the last page. Please suggest how we can achieve this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cancel duplex printing on HP 6700 using Mac OSx Yosemite

I've been searching the HP Forum site for weeks for a solution to turning OFF the duplex printing on the HP 6700 printer. The "tab" listed does NOT appear...so it's impossible to click on it. There are NO options or two sided printing on the HP 6700 print screen. None of the solutions here work...at least for us. It appears lots of others are having this same problem with the HP 6700 printer...no way to turn off duplexing. Does anyone have THE solution that works? Again, using a Mac Pro with the OSX Yosemite. (We couldn't get the duplex printing to stop with the last OS either.) Help would be much appreciated.

Follow the steps below to disable duplex printing:
Open the file used to print, click the File menu, select Print. The Print window appears.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click on Show Details to see all available settings.
Click the lowest selection box listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
Select Layout from the drop-down menu.
Set the Two-Sided option as Off.
You may save the settings for future use by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset... Any used preset will remain default till another preset will be used.

EHS - Duplex printing of MSDS

Hi all,
I would like to know whether printing of MSDS in duplex mode (double sided) is possible when using cg54 transaction to send MSDS to customers. I did not find any provision for duplex printing in customizing.

New Brother 52050DN printer. Can't figure out how to duplex print

I just got a Brother 5250DN printer. It says it's capable of duplex printing on PCs and Macs. I've installed all the latest drivers and still can't find anything that says duplex printing. The included docs only tell how to set up duplex printing on Windows XP.

NEED HELP with HP P1006 DUPLEX printing

This printer has the ability to print duplex pages (manual).
This is different from printing the odd pages and then the even pages to achieve two-sided pages.
This affects me because I like to print 2-sided AND print 2 pages on each side and the manual odd/even trick messes up the page order because I will end up with the first and third pages on one side of the paper and the second and fourth pages on the other side. Essentially I was able to print 4 pages onto 1 sheet of paper.
Please help me save paper!! I am a grad student and I do a lot of printing!!!
Other information:
1. I have the latest driver updates.
2. I can see the option for two-sided printing but it is grayed out and set on "off"
3. I know for a fact that my printer has this property-- it is marketed as having manual duplex printing (plus it worked fine with windows vista on my pc with the CD software)
4. What I've learned so far is that the latest driver is not "clever" enough to enable the duplex printing and there are no plans to make it better WHICH I HOPE IT NOT TRUE!!!

The HP Photosmart C4280 does support manual duplex printing (as do all of the devices). The request on this thread is specific to a special form of manual duplex printing that these devices used to support (but on the Mac your device does not). To get the Manual duplexing, you can Print Odd pages, take the paper out, place it back in your input tray, and then print even pages. Just take the whole stack from the output tray and place it so you can see the printing and its right side up when you put it in your input tray. (You may want to experiment with a small document just to make sure you have the workflow down).

I Have an Officejet 4612 with duplex printing on a Mac using OS 10.10.10 when printing duplex from Word the back of the page is upside down. What can I do to make this right.

I would like to assist you today with resolving the duplex printing orientation issue you're experiencing with your HP Officejet 4610 series Printer. I'm going to start by providing you with generic duplex troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue for you.
Step 1: Check the Duplex Settings:
Please just ensure that the Duplex print settings are set correctly.
Open the document you want to print.
On the File menu, select Print. The Print window displays.

In the expanded Print window, select the check box next to the Two-Sided option.

Click the down arrow next to the name of the program to see the available panels.
Click the down arrow next to the name of the program
Select Layout from the drop-down list. The Layout panel opens.
From the Two-Sided drop-down list, select Long-Edge Binding or Short Edge Binding, depending on the orientation you want for your pages. When you select one of these options, the illustration shows you how the pages are oriented.

If everything is set as it should be but the backside of the page is still upside down, can I have you proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Check Driver:
If your product happens to be using the Apple Airprint driver than that could cause duplexing issues. To ensure that this is not the case can I have you:
Click on Apple
Select System Preferences
Select Print & Scan
Under Print &Scan select your Officejet printer queue and verify if the title shows 'Airprint'
If it does, hit the (-) minus sign to delete this print queue
Select the (+) plus sign to readd the printer
Ensure that the 'Print Using' selection is set the the correct HP model of printer you have and not Airprint.
Now try to duplex print again.

Selecting paper size in the first sreen tellis iPhoto what papery you are going to use - it does not tell the printer what paper to use - printer specific options on on the last (second or third if you customize the print) screen where you tell the print any specifics like paper source (typically printers need to you tell them where a specific paper is loaded - they do not really know the sizes in each paper tray)

Is there a way to use the (non-manual) duplex printing on my HP C6280 on Microsoft Office 2007?

The entire time I have had my HP C6280 All-in-one printer I have not known it was possible to print two-sided directly with the printer. The print dialog box on Microsoft Office has a check box for Manual Duplex which requires removing the stack of pages and reinserting to print the second side. However, today, for the first time, I used the print feature on Google Chrome. It had a check box for 2-sided printing and I was surprised when the page which emerged from the printer was already printed on both front and back! I would really like to use this capability of my printer all the time, not just from Google Chrome. I normally do most of my printing from Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).

Issue with character formats using duplex printing in smartform

I am getting a problem with character formats using duplex printing in smartform. I am using a text module with a bold character to display text in a window. The problem is that on the first back page,the text is being printed normally (without bold), but on the next pages, the back pages are being printed with the bold character format.
Can anyone know where is the problem..please.

Normally this should not happen.. and also there is no internal formatting done by SAP.. it will show based on what fomatting option we have specified..
If you are saying it is happening in ur case then
     1. Recheck whether whether you have same text module getting printed on the
         two page. If they are different then then individual check formatting option for
         each..
      2. If above point does'nt work for you ..then instead of bold char use normal
          format for text element and see if it is printing same on both page..
Try this out and let us know your findings...

Printing multiplte customer details on seperate pages using Smartforms

I have a requirement where I have to accept the customer number using Select-options and display the customer details in seperate smartform pages.
I applied the command in smartform giving the general attribute go to new page 'page1'.
the details are getting printed on the smartform but all the customer details are getting printed on all the pages.Kindly tell me where I should make the change to print each customer detail in seperate pages.

Make sure you use the command prompt correctly inside the MAIN window of the form. Trigger new page, when the customer number is changed ( to do this you need to place condition in the command prompt).
Example scenario:
Define global variable GV_KUNNR.
Inside MAIN WINDOW:
a) Display customer information
b) In Command Prompt, new page condition GV_KUNNR <> KUNNR.
c) Code page: gv_kunnr = kunnr.
I guess, above solution will help you to close the thread.

How to duplex print pdf file on hp 1320 using upd pcl5 on windows 7 ?

I am running Windows 7 Professional (64bit), with a HP laserjet 1320 using driver HP UPD PCL5 (v5.5.0.12834), with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro v9.5.2 and MS Word 2010. When I print a Word 2010 file I can choose duplex printing (print on both sides) and everything works fine. However, when I open a PDF file, click FILE then PRINT then PROPERTIES the PRINT ON BOTH SIDES option shows "none" and no other option is shown. I searched Adobe support and it says duplex printing is controlled by the printer driver, not Adobe software. I have uninstalled & reinstalled the UPD PCL 5 driver two times already but still the same problem of not being able to choose duplex printing for any PDF document - yet it works for MS Word. Any ideas ? Thanks

Can't get duplex print option for pdf files using Adobe ReaderXI 11.0.04, Mac 10.8.5 with HP8600

I get two-sided option for normal printing, but
I can't get duplex print option for pdf files using Adobe ReaderXI 11.0.04, Mac 10.8.5 with HP Officejet Pro 8600. HP says it's an Adobe problem. I'm stuck.

It depends where the pdf is located. If in the Finder or in an attachment to
an email in Entourage, the message is ³You can¹t open the application
³Acrobat Reader 5.0² because PowerPC applications are no longer supported².
If an attachment in an email that has come via Safari, the message is
³Safari can¹t open the file because no available applications can open it².
In each case the menu bar is Finder or Entourage or Safari as the case may
be.

C# Duplex Printing using ReportDocument.printToPrinter

We have a .NET C# application which we use to schedule, email and print Crystal reports.
Our current Crystal version is 12.0.2000.0.
Some of our reports need to print in duplex mode, but this only works on some printers.
For instance a Kyocera TASKalfa 250ci KX will print in duplex whereas a Dell Laser Printer 1720dn PS3 completely ignores the command and prints on separate pages for exactly the same report.
We set the duplex print options by:
printReport.PrintOptions.PrinterDuplex = PrinterDuplex.Vertical;
where printReport is the ReportDocument.
Both printers do support duplex printing.
Can anyone help?

I've installed the SP3 and fix pack 3.1.
The CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll version is now 12.3.2001.684 according to explorer.
However, I can't figure out how to update my references in my project - Visual Studio 2008 still says it is using version 12.0.2000.0. I've tried setting the specific version to false and doing a clean on the project, removing and adding the references etc. but the version numbers don't change. Do I have to unload the project and manually edit the project file? In which case do I change just the version numbers?
Apologies if this is a newbie question, I'm somewhat of a novice at all this.

Hi Darran, Editing your reply for clarity. When you update the runtime only the actuall dll version is updated. The project still uses the same reference version. It's more for .NET Framework info, 12.0.1100.x is 1.1 framework and 12.0.2000.x is 2.0 frame dependant.
