Thanks for the reply the solution to reverse payment, then rev MIRO with MR8M, and rev MIGO with MBST. And then do ammendments to the PO.
But the Invoice already done payment, document had been posted.
Can we still proceed the adjustment ?

I read your earlier message just now.
If you want record this into small assets, you can do as below.
You can do ABUMN ( Asset transfer within company code with partial transfer option). This will take care of depreciation posted earlier with right proportion and transfer to small assets)

I have a problem locating where the net book value is stored in SAP. Is it simply calculated and not stored in any one place? I am trying to predict how SAP will calculate the net book value for some assets we plan on converting, but my formula doesn't always work consistently and I have not idea what is going on. If it is stored in a table some place, can anyone please let me know!

It is not possible to directly get net book value of an any Table. You must migrate the gross book value (acquisition cost) and the accumulated depreciation. SAP will then calculate the NBV.

I have written following code

field-symbols: <L_FIELD> TYPE ANY.

 Assign (fieldname) to <l_field>.
 <L_FIELD> = 'ZB'. " value according to your requirement
 Assign (fieldname1) to <l_field1>.

while debugging <l_field1> is not assinging (fieldname1).
Im able to assing for (fieldname).
how to assign value for (fieldname1).
plz suggest me to assign values for more than one field.

Because there is no field name called LISFD in KNA1. Actually you misspelled the field name.
It is KNA1-LIFSD

Assign value to asset under construction

Hi Sirs,
I would like to know what i have to do to solve the problem with value for asset under construction. When I create asset with tr. AS91 in area for Takeover values, the field for ***.acquis.val. is not active.

Hi Dani
I assume that you have maintained the takeover date and period for last depreciation posted in the old system. Apart from this you have to make sure that the capitalisation date in asset master should be prior to takeover date, In order for system to recognize that asset is a takeover asset this is very important. when all the input fields are greyed , this means system does not determine it to be an old asset which it derives from cap date.

values in an array are "assigned" by building an array (using BuildArray) or by replacing values in an existing array (ReplaceArraySubset)!

Assigning value for an integer

i'm having two jsp pages. i pass value from one jsp page to another jsp.
when i try to assign value for an integer, it is taking the default value. it is not taking the value what i assign. for string its taking correctly.
this is the query string.
document.book.action="cis1.jsp?lstr_bname=<%=lstr_bname%&lint_mss=<%=lint_mss%">
here for lstr_bname it is taking the value. but not the case for lint_mss.(taking default value).

I have some application items to which I want to assign values querying from a database table based on the user logged in. I have created an application process which does that. What process point I need to select so that the values in application items are available through out the session?

I have been able to reproduce this issue. The application process appears to fire for every 'new' session-id. This explains the 'no data found' when you navigate to the application's login page. What is weirder is that APEX re-uses the session-id created when presenting the login page and therefore the application process no longer fires ! This needs more research. Clearly, my understanding of the the 'On New Session - After Authentication' is inadequate.
In the meanwhile you can move the code you have for the application process and and use it as a 'Post-Authentication Process' for the application's authentication scheme.

"non assigned" value for Calender year quarter not possible

All of us know that we can not assign "#" value to calender year quarter.
In my planning level (which is a part of multi planning area consinsting 2 cubes, Actual COPA cube and Plan COPA cube), I want to copy data from Actual copa cube to plan copa cube using planning function of formula type, but actual copa cube is not getting populated against calyear quarter.
I want to retain calyearquarter as a characteristic in my level as it is acting as a key to my plan data. What shoould be done in such a scenario?

I would suggest you build a characateristic relationship exit on calendar year quarter, probably based on fiscal year period or 0calmonth.. Make sure you leave Calendar year quarter out of your planning level in the copy so it would derive it.

I'm puzzled why I can declare a variable:
Class<List<String>> clazz;but I cannot assign a value to it as
clazz = List<String>.class;The compiler also complains about

there is no way to get an instance of Class<List<String>> without at least one unchecked warning. Otherwise you could get away with the following:
List<Integer> ints = new ArrayList<Integer>();
Class<List<String>> clazz = List<String>.class;
List<String> strings = clazz.cast(ints);
strings.add("No Good");
int i = ints.get(0); // CCETherefore the only way to get it is via unchecked cast:

Hi,
I did some major re-work on the model/data tier EO/VO/ViewLinks. The EO's used to be synchronised with the DB with PK/FK assoc etc. We have been struggling with accessor naming on FK associations in the BC4J for some time now and decided to remove all the constraints from the BC4J layer.
We created a reference DB schema that doesn't contain all the constrants etc. I then systematically decoupled the associations from ViewLinks/Views/EO's etc.
This in itself was quite a task since "Sync with DB" doesn't work straight out of the box.
Every reference is out and all classes compile.
I noticed that some of the VL accessors in one of the EO's are incorrect/missing.
When editing the ViewLink and setting the accessors the following:
1. Some VL's create the accessor but causes the ones already defined to get a dup index.
eg. Attribute "myViewA" has index 10, Attribute "myViewB" has index 11
I insert Attribute "myViewC" Through the VL editor and it inserts the accessor at index 10 causing "myViewA" to become 11. BUT "myViewB" has index 1.
2. Some VL's dont insert the accessor attribute when ticked, it inserts an empty line.
Whats cooking here?

Memo value in Asset

In OAYI, I set 1usd(Set memo value per company code/depreciation area)
and In asset master, i set 0 usd(additional specifications in depreciation area tab)
So, this asset's memo value(or scrap value) is 1 usd or 0 usd ??
what's is right?
I guess 0 usd is right, but it's memo is 1 usd(in AW01N).
my mistake??

Hi ,
The purpose of a memo value is different from that of a scrap value.
Memo Value - The memo value is the residual value which u want to reflect in the balance sheet. Usually you do not need to manage memo values, since Asset Accounting (FI-AA) always manages gross values. This means it records both the acquisition value and accumulated depreciation, not just the net book value of assets. In this way, the system guarantees that even fully depreciated fixed assets appear in all legally required reports, even if they have a net book value of zero.
Scrap Value - It may sometimes be necessary to depreciate assets not to net book value zero, but only up to a scrap value or cutoff value. Therefore, the system enables you to set up a time-dependent scrap value for assets per depreciation area. There are two ways of specifying the scrap value:
● By assigning a scrap value key to the depreciation key used in the depreciation area
● By entering an absolute scrap value in the asset master data for the depreciation area
If you enter both an absolute value and a percentage, the standard system uses the percentage rate. SAP recommends that you always enter a percentage rate.
