Duplicate emails sent to 2 addresses on BB
I have 2 email addresses set up on my BB. One is from my internet provider - charter.net. The other is my business email address and has always been set up as an alias on my business web site host, which is automatically forwarded to my charter.net address. This arrangement has always worked just fine for the last 8 years on my home computer. Now on my BB, all emails, whether they are addressed to my charter.net address or my business address, are addressed and sent to both email accounts set up on my BB. That is to say if an email originally gets sent to my charter address, it shows up on my BB in both my charter account (addressed to my charter address) and to my business account (addressed to my business email address). Conversely, the same happens to emails originally sent to my business address.
Neither of my addresses are set up on enterprise servers or with BB addresses, which are the only topics I have found any reference to in searching for a solution.
I have talked to tech support on the phone and at my local Verizon office and they have said it is a Charter problem. Naturally, Charter says the complete opposite. I am inclined to believe that this is a Verizon problem since my email arrangement has and continues to work just fine on my main computer for many years.
Any suggestions for solutions??

If you sent me one single email to one of my 2 addresses, it would show up twice in my "main" messages folder AND once each in BOTH folders for each specific email account, regardless of which email address you sent the single email to. The way it should work is that if you sent me one single email to one single address it should show up ONCE in my "main" messages folder and ONCE in the folder for the email address you sent it to, but it should not show up in the email address folder you didn't send it to.
But if you have your work email also forwarded to the Charter address, you should expect it to show up in both your work email folder AND your charter account folder?
Seems correct to me, unless I am still not understanding your email setup.

I see other posts about duplicate emails being received on their phones, I have the opposite problem - my recipients get 2 copies of every email I send from my phone.
I use the native app, it's a Hotmail account. The email is identical - time-stamped the same. There is only one copy in the Sent folder on the phone. This is the default account on the phone.
I have an S3 and this seems to have started with the recent push system push from Verizon that I installed in early May. Device is on Android 4.3.
Any ideas how I can stop this as it's very irritating to my recipients and costly against my data plan (please read that Verizon).I reinstalled the account and recipients are still getting duplicate emails. If I use a PC (Outlook or webmail) only one email is sent. I see form a number of other Android forums that this may be due to the 4.3 push. Which was around the time this started to happen.
I've installed the Outlook app to see if that makes a difference over the native app, and only one email is sent. So, although I've found a resolution, I'd be interested in knowing if Verizon will be pushing out Kitkat to the S3 and when? I only recently switched to the S3 about 6 months ago so cannot upgrade to the S5 anytime soon. There are other issues reported with Jellybean I'd rather not suffer from. -
SMTP Server not responding to emails sent to 1 address externally
I've set up a mail server on a 10.4.11 machine. Everything was working fine until I accidentally deleted my personal account via Workgroup manager, I figured since it was IMAP I could just recreate it and everything would work as it once did. It didn't, now when I send emails to that address, the smtp log shows nothing, but yet I do not receive a failure message back to the sender. However, the messages sent internally from other addresses in that server work properly. In summation, I can't use an external address to send emails to one of my accounts, the smtp log doesn't even show an attempt made to connect to the server.
Also, all the other addresses work fine.

Message was edited by: JViciousOk, so I used mailfbr to try and fix it anyways, just to see what would happen. That didn't fix it, so I thought I could use the Backup program and just restore to an earlier point to see if the original settings could be restored, tat didn't work either, that totally messed everything up worse. I've had problems connecting to the lmtp socket, reading the mailbox file, permissions, but I think I've fixed all those. The only problem now is that everything gets stuck in the queue. I've checked these topics almost the whole day for these problems, but the cause and solution are not the same for me. Anything I can do? Or should I just start fresh again?

How to stop automatic replies to emails sent to my address?
We receive hundreds of spam/solicitation emails each day. Many, if not most, automatically send a reply to the sender thus validating our email address. Yesterday, I deleted almost 3000 emails from my send file that show being sent by us back to the originator of the email.
Is there a way to block this action?Tools menu (Alt_T) > Account settings > Return receipts for the "per account" settings and a link to the global setting. If however your using Microsoft Exchange or another corporate mail server you may have no choice in the matter. The server over rides local settings, and adjustment required the server admin to make changes.

Spam emails sent from my address book
I am being told by people in my address book that they are receiving emails that look as if they're from me but I've never sent them. All of the emails encourage the recipient to click on a link. The emails also have a signature that it was sent from Verizon Mobile. How can I stop this?

Access Enforcer Duplicate emails sent for all stages of a workflow
We are implementing AE 5.2. We have several initiators, each with several stages. We have a default role defined. Our email dispatcher is set to run every 3 minutes.
For each stage, two emails are sent to each approver, including the manager.
Does anyone have any ideas why this could be?
Thanks in advance for your help.Hi, Gary,
We aren't having the problem anymore. They may have been caused by parallel workflow paths with our default role in a No Role Owner situation. We changed our detour config.
Hope this helps. -
Hundreds of duplicate emails sent to users inbox
One of my users is having an issue with an appointment she made with another user. The user accepted the invitation and now the user who sent the invitation is dealing with hundreds of acceptance emails. I have no clue what is causing this. Our tech who
typically deals with our exchange server is also clueless.
We are running Exchange 2003 and the end user has office 2010.
I've tried reinstalling outlook, repairing it, and creating a new .ost. Nothing seems to work.Hi,
According to your description, I understand that:
User A sent a meeting request to User B, then User B accepted the meeting and sent a accepted response to A. But User A received hundreds of response from User B.
Is it right? If I misunderstand, please point it out.
To narrow down the issue, please check the following points:
1. If User A sends meeting requests to other users, are there still hundreds responses received from other users?
2. Or the issue only happens on User B’s response? Can you reproduce the issue?
3. Check whether there is any third-party device used for managing calendar. If it is, please disable it.
4. Close Outlook, and only use OWA to send test meeting request and check whether the issue persists in OWA.
5. Disable Outlook cached mode and use Online mode to check whether the issue can be reproduced.

"Sometimes" Duplicate Emails sent and received
3G on Exchange network. Some emails i send get sent two or three times. Others I receive, i get two or three times. Cannot find an commonality to them. Anyone have any suggestions or fixes? Very frustrating
I'm seeing a similar problem. Two days ago I stopped being able to retrieve POP messages but could still send outgoing mail via SMTP. Yesterday large messages began disappearing. I could see them in the message index, but the content was missing. Now today the content of all messages are missing. The email account is with Yahoo! and I can still access it via web browser and my iPhone. The problem is that I have many message that are important to my business only in Mail and no longer on the Yahoo! server. I need to figure out how to fix this ASAP.

Have order notificaion emails sent to two addresses
Is there any way to have PayPal send me emails to both my primary and a secondary email address when receiving an order? I can't find where to configure it, but it would be a very useful feature. (I want a computer program to receive a copy of all the emails and print out orders in a store to the personel as they arrive.)
PayPal's system will only send to one email address, but you could setup an Instant Payment Notification (IPN) solution to generate your own email notifications and send as many as you need to as many addresses as you need. You'll need a developer to set that up for you. I could do it for you if you want to submit a quote request.

Duplicate emails sent from two macs from Calendar
Hello,
I have a MacBook Air and an iMac, both on the same Apple ID. I use the Calendar app daily. When I set up an "email alert," though, each computer sends me an email, so I end up with two copies of every Calendar reminder.
Any ideas? Thank you!Hi Sam,
Just to eliminate possible causes of error ...
Could you stick a File Saver action block straight after the SQL Query. Ensure that this file saver is placed before the repeater.
Save the Output of your SQL Query as the Text of this file. Use a Unique Name for the file ...
e.g.
"C:/Temp/EmailTester_" & guid & ".txt"
The guid will ensure that you have a unique name for each run.
Use front-slash "/" instead of back-slash "\" in the link editor.
Check the results of the SQL query in the saved file when you are getting double emails. This will help you be certain about where the error is.
Cheers,

How to delete the duplicate email address in BP master data
Hi,
When you get an email ids from the third party vendor and you are loading into CRM BP master data. how to delete the duplicate email address already exits in the system. In CRM you can create the same BP with different id. I would like to know how to delete the email address during importing email addresses from the third party tool.
During the campaign you are sending email to all your customers, when the customer want to unsubscibe the email address from your list, how to unsubcribe the email address and how to updat the BP master data.
If you are sending the email to customer, you are using html or simple text, if the customer wants only html or simple text, how you to specify in the system?
thanks,
arulHello Arul,
welcome to the SDN CRM Development forum.
1. I think you should clear the data with duplicate E-Mail adresses in the external tool.
2. Unsubscription could be done by a Marketing Attribute which could be set by using a Target Group which is created by Campaign Automation. Have a look at this Toppic. There is also a Best Practice avaliable at http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm.
3. Also HTML or Simple text can be mained in a Marketing Attribute. You have to use different Mail Forms to which are sent to different Target groups.

We have an Exchange 2013 on-premise server and seem to have an issue with emails sent to internal and external users at the same time.
The issue came to light because someone sent an email to 44 recipients, of which one was internal. None of the external recipients received the email. I checked the delivery report in the EAC and found the internal email marked as 'Delivered' and all of
the external ones marked as 'Pending'. I checked the queues and there were none. I did some testing and sent an email to just one of the external addresses on the list, it arrived. I tried sending the email again to all of the recipients, the external ones
all showed 'Pending'. I tried it again, but this time excluded the internal email address and all of the 43 external emails were immediately delivered.
So it seems that the issue only arises when we are sending to both internal and external addresses.
I then tried a test email to one internal address and one external address. The Delivery report says that the internal address was delivered immediately, while the external address is 'Pending' and gives more information saying: 'Message delivery is taking
longer than expected. There may be system delays. For more information, contact your helpdesk.'. To add further mystery to this, the email was actually delivered.
So, I have two concerns:
First is seems that some emails sent both internally and externally are only arriving internally. This is a huge problem because I don't know how many have been affected. There may be many lost emails we don't know about.
Second, it looks like I can't trust the delivery report. It says pending for some emails which didn't arrive, but it also says pending for some which did arrive. That is no good at all.
For info the server is running Windows Server 2012. I have run a Microsoft Update to check if there are any to apply and the only Exchange one is a spam filter update, which I doubt has any bearing but I will apply when I get chance.Hi Neil,
According to the description, I find a related KB on Exchange 2010:
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2694474?wa=wsignin1.0
It has the similar situation as yours.
This issue occurs because a function in a message tracking component tries to obtain the information for the recipient instead of the external recipient.
Please try to upgrade to the latest Exchange update to check whether this issue can be solved.
Also please check whether Throttling has been set.
Please run "Get-TransportService | fl" to check the MaxOutboundConnections parameter value.

I have an irritating problem with mail autofilling info in email addresses. Emails sent to me the from looks like this: Holiday in the United States <my email address>. I have no idea what this Holiday in the United States is or how it got to be there...How can I fix/change to my name?
I fixed the To: autofilling incorrectly by deleting my email address from the Previous Recipients List, but is there a way to stop that from coming up on emails that I receive?Have you checked your Mac address book? If your email is saved somewhere in your address book with the name "Holidays in the United States" it might be adding the name automatically in Mac Mail.
Alternatively, try this:
Delete an Email Address from Auto-Complete in Mac OS X Mail
To remove an email address from the auto-complete list in Mac OS X Mail:
Start typing the recipient's address or name in a new message.
Select the desired address from the auto-complete list as if you'd compose an email to them.
Click the small down arrow in the recipient.
Select Remove from Previous Recipients List from the menu.
You can also search for the unwanted address directly in the previous recipients list:
Select Window | Previous Recipients from the menu in Mac OS X Mail.
Highlight the address you want to remove. You can highlight multiple addresses by holding down the Command key.
Click Remove from List.

How do I copy multiple email addresses from one email sent TO me into a new message?
How do I copy multiple email addresses from an email sent to me into a new message?
Are they in the body of the mail?
Hold your finger down in that mail until the little blue bubble pops up. One of the options should be to select all. Choose that and all will be hilighted. then a pop up comes up to copy, choose that, open your destination and hold your finger down to get the paste dialogue. -
Email sent from iPad main account arrives from gmail address
Email sent from iPad main account arrives from gmail address
I have solved this. The main account SMTP setting was wrong so it was using the next outgoing mail server available which was Gmail. Disabling Gmail as an alternative highlighted that the main one was wrong. I fixed the main SMPTP outgoing server address and all now working. Hope this helps.
