Duplicate entries in the Enumerated Drop-downlist?

Hi All,
I have the following context structures in WDA.
A ( Cardinality 0..n, Selection 0..1, Supply function - B_ITEMS)
-B( Cardinality 0..n, Selection 0..1, Supply funtion - B_ITEMS)
- B1
- B2
- B3
- B4
A1
A2
A3
A4
I populate 3 items in the context node B in the supply function B_Items.
I bound this context node to a table (with dropdownbykey) in web dynpro application, I can see 3 items in the dropdown field in all 10 rows.
But when I bound this context to the Table in Interactive Form (SFP), there I have a table with Enumerated dropdown list in all 10 rows.
In runtime the dropdownlist has 30 records ( 3 * 10 ), it gets duplicate items.
Do you know why I am getting duplicate entries in the Interactive Form dropdown list?

i've never used the supply functions...
but it sounds like it's running through the function for each row. is it a table you pass? Can you check to see if it's already populated before passing in the values? i wonder if you can set a variable in the code to skip if it's already been run once.

Missing and duplicate entries in the calendar

I'm a long time (1997) Palm user who's moved to a BB 8330 last month. I can't seem to get calendar syncing to work correctly. In some instances, I am missing items on Outlook. I often have duplicate entries on the handheld. I've searched the forums and there seem to be similar issues and the solutions appear to be around Service Books, but I'm not confident I have a clue how not to lose lots of info.I also cannot seem to find information that explains the relationship between email addresses & calendar (I don't see why there should be any!!!)
Scenario (trying to answer up front the questions from other forum posts):
I am using Outlook on my home computer to manage my personal calendar. I do not have an email account associated with Outlook.I have set up 2-way sync with Outlook for calendar, tasks & contacts
My work uses Lotus Notes. I have set up one sync to the handheld only from the Lotus Notes calendar
The only email account configured on the BB is a gmail account (which is not associated with either calendar). I originally set this up via the wizard, then removed it, but added it back (under Email settings) when I discovered I couldn't send email from the Address book without it. I actually prefer google mobile for email management since it modifies the server state as well. Not sure if the add/remove/add sequence has somehow messed up the calendar?
I have checked under Calendar > Options and two calendars appear. Based on the color associations it appears that Device Default is associated with Outlook personal calendar & my gmail account is associated with the Lotus Notes calendar entries. As far as I know I did not create these associations.
Checking under Options > Advanced Options > Default Services, I see CICAL & CMIME entry and those are both the gmail account.
Checking under Options > Advanced Options > Service Book, I see only one CICAL & CMIME entry and those are both the gmail account.
Separately, I do have a couple of mobile apps to read email (gmail- same acct - and yahoo), but those appear to not integrate into the BB apps directly.
Everytime I sync with Outlook, I end up with lots of duplicate entries on the handheld. I have also noticed that I am missing entries that are on the handheld, but are not on Outlook (in one very odd case, the entry was created on Outlook and now only exists on the handheld). I may have deleted duplicate entries related to the missing items at one time... I can't be sure about that. I believe I currently have a complete calendar on the handheld, but not 100% confident I have a good calendar anywhere.
And as an aside, have to say I'm really bummed that I have lost easy access all my Palm historical data. It appears BB will not bring in old calendar data by design (found that in some BB documentation on their site). Now that I will not keep up with Palm upgrades, at some point I will lose access to that data. Sigh.

Duplicate entries in the Fields array

I came across a (strange) pdf and after an analysis it turned out that some of the fields occur multiple times in the Fields array.
Now when looking up the spec it states:
"An array of references to the document’s root fields (those with no ancestors in the field hierarchy)."
Is that a violation of the spec (although it doesn't state that explicitly)?
So how to deal with this kind of PDFs?

A follow up to the discussion: I opened the document in the Life Cycle Designer and it showed me an error (as I would have expected it from acrobat).
The explanaination was that a (checked) radiobutton was referenced several times (due to the above problem). And that is definetly a violation of the spec - you can't have several checked radiobuttons in a group - and that is the reason why it should be illegal to have duplicate entries in the /Field or /Annots array (in my opinion).
Interesting to know that Lifecycle Designer seems "better" in this way than acrobat - since acrobat didn't complain and LifeCycle Designer showed the correct warning in the first place.

Duplicate entries in the menu - how do I edit?

I have installed two apps: Vlingo and Navita.
In the menu for, say... text massaging, at the top I have two entries that read:"Reply with Vlingo" and two that read: "Translate with Navita". (There are several duplicates)
I uninstalled the app and then re-installed it, yet the duplicates are still there. Given that there are several entries and several programs that have these duplicate entries in the menu, they are cloggin up the menu.
How can I edit out the duplicates?

Middleware Settings - Duplicate entries in the Table TCURC

I am doing middleware settings for integrating SAP CRM 5.0 with SAP R/3 4.7.
Before replicating the customizing objects, i found duplicate entries for ISO Codes in the table TCURC (Field name-ISOCD).
Following are those entries

Office 2010 Displaying Duplicate Entries of the Same Printer

Hi,
Looking for some guidance on how to resolve this odd behavior we're seeing in Office 2010. In each Office 2010 app, when you go to File > Print, we find that certain printer objects are duplicated. I'm able to repro this problem which
has been reported by some of our business users. In my case, one of the printers shows a status of "Ready", while the other shows an unending status of "Connecting to printer...". I have removed this printer object and associated
drivers a couple of times and re-installed but every time I load Word, Excel, etc., the printer is listed twice in the printer list. Just focusing on MS Word 2010, I've tried deleting Word's "data" key, renaming Normal.dotm, but I can't get
these bad printer entries to disappear. I've tried connecting to different printers but the result is the same. The only common thread with this is that the printers that appear as duplicates are all network printers. I don't have a problem
with the send-to-onenote printer, Adobe printer or other local printers. Anyone else seen this behavior?

Please try this:
Printer must be off. Right click on printer icon. Delete device. Both instances will be deleted. Turn on printer. New device found. Installed device driver.
This behavior can occur if a serial number is not stored in the printer's read-only memory (ROM). When this occurs, the bus cannot determine if the printer you reconnect
is the same printer or a different one. As a result, a duplicate printer is added.
Please contact the printer manufacturer to inquire about the availability of updated USB firmware.

IWEB - web.me -site name contains duplicate entries in the name

After having link problems in my site, I deleted all entries and republished by selecting "Publish Entire Site". The site was rebuilt, but instead of the site name being http://web.me.com/membername/Welcome.html
it is
http://web.me.com/membername/http__web.me.commembernamey/Welcome.html
The site name displayed in iWEB and the Mobile Me site publishing settings is correct. I have tried to rename and republish the site, but the duplicate name still exists?????

you will always see double names.
The only reason it is "double" is because You gave your site the same name as your url, instead of something short and simple.
Wish there was a solution that the data is saved in the directory itself and not in the sub.
You can ask Apple to offer that option here:

But I think it's unlikely because truncating the site structure like that makes the RSS Subscribe links on blog pages non-functioning.

Using the facial squares in my organizer, I identified and entered all the people from my images into the people category. Upon completion I realized that I had two Marys (not her real name). How can I remove one of these and reenter them under the other entry for Mary?

How do I remove an entry from the "Store Files" drop down list in the "Import Settings" section of Aperture 3.3.2

The dropdown list "Store Files" in the "Import Settings" section of Aperture 3.3.2 displays the history of the entries previously added to the list. Some of the entries are no longer valid and I'm trying to delete them but I can't find a way to do this. This is a screenshot. Does anyone know how to do this?

Is the MacOS X version in your signature correct? Then you cannot be using Aperture 3.3.2?
You should not be seeing duplicate entries in the "Store Files" pop-up menu. This looks like your Aperture Preferences file is corrupted and needs fixing.
Quit Aperture (and log off and on again, if you are running MacOS X 10.7 or later)
Then reveal your User Library (from the Finder's main menu bar, the "Go" menu. Hold down the options-key until the library apears in the drop-down menu)
In the Library folder select the "Preferences folder and locate the file "~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist"
Now you can either
remove the com.apple.Aperture.plist file to the Desktop, to force Aperture to create a new one, but you will have to set again your Preferences from the "Preferences" panel,
or make a backup copy of the file and edit it, if you are an experienced programmer and have Xcode installed. To fix the drop-down list you need to edit the item "RecentReferenceFolders" and delete the redundant folder names. Enter "recent" into the search field to find it quickly. If you click an item in the list, plus/minus buttons should appear. But only try this, if you know how to edit property lists, otherwise it will be much safer to delete the faulty list and to set your preferences again from the "Preferences" panel.

Don't allow to select duplicate entries from drop-down fields, JS pls.?

I have 3 drop down fields in my_sub_form, say, my_country_1, my_country_2 and my_country_3. All drop down field's list boxes are populated with 10 country names, say, US, Canada, Spain, Germany, France...
Say, user selected US in my_country_1 drop down field, again user is TRYING to select same entry as US in my_country_2 field======> Here at this point, as soon as user selected as US in my_country_2's droppped down list box=====> immediatley, I need to throw warning message to the user and make the my_country_2 as "" BLANK.
Basically, my form should not allow the user to select the DUPLICATE entries in these 3 drop-down fields, all the 3 should be DISTINCT.
If i write JS in EXIT event of my_sub_form, its working fine, but not user friendly, it kind of late.
Hence we want to have INSTANT alert to user AS SOON AS user selects a duplicate entry in any drop down field
I tried to put some JS in CHANGE event of my_country_1 and my_country_2, but not working

you could put in the exit event of the my_country_1 list:

How to delete duplicate entries in table for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS2

I am trying to download the object DNL_CUST_BASIS2.
In the SMQ2 the status is SYSFAIL.
I checked in the ST22 for dumps.It says about the error while accessing the table T006.
While analysing this,i found some duplicate entries in the related tables of this object.
Can somebody help me how to delete these duplicate entries?

Delete them directly from the table using se16:
select the entries in the classic view (not ALV or grid view).
activate the debugger.
press the view button. --> you'll enter in the debugger
press F7
locate the sy-ucomm variable & change it to "DELE".
press F8
delete the entries.

Is there an easy way to delete duplicate entries in Address Book?

I have an iPhone where I create new contact details and a MB Air running OX X 10.7.3
In Address Book I see duplicate entries across the whole book. The other day I was traveling without my MB and needed to urgently reach someone who's number I knew was in my iPhone contact list for sure but searched and search and couldn't find it.
Turns out that when I had been going through the Adress Book on the MB Air trying to eliminate some of the duplicates I had chosed --without even knowing it or realzing it-- the card that I guess sync with my iPhone. It was gone. Sure enough, when I got back and looked it up on the MB Air it was still there not syncing to my iPhone.
I have used Address Book / Card / Look for Duplicates ...
I have also followed the Help suggesting and pressed Control / select to highlight two duplicate cards and even though the First / Last / Company / phone numbers / etc. are all the same I get the message: "The cards could not be merged because they came from different accounts."
I have checked with guys from the office who have the exact same problem with no idea how to solve the problem.
Is it that in order to use Address Book on both an iPhone and an OS X machine you've just got to be smarter, more sophisticated, more IT oriented?
Seems like a pretty easy thing not to be struggling with.
I should mention that I was a Mobile Me subscriber and now use iCloud which I'm sure has something to do with all of this.
But it seems pretty basic to me. If I have an Address Book it should synchronize between OX X and IOS.

Duplicate entries getting posted using FB01

Hi All,
I am facing a very strange problem which I have never heard of before.
There is a report program which picks up an input file from the application server and posts the entries. This input file will contain all the details about header record, vendor line items and G/L line items.
The report checks for duplicate entries comparing the reference number and the vendor. It discards the duplicate entries. It does not post duplicate entries.
Now, the input file contains the reference number only once. It also has multiple line items for that refernce. But has posted two identical documents having same reference, company code, etc. The only thing that is different is the document number and the time of entry. There is just a few seconds gap between the posting of the two entries.
Ideally FB01 should also not allow to post such identical entries.
Please suggest possible reasons for such postings.

Hi,
Manually everything is working fine. Also through this report everything works fine always except for this case which happened.
The input file had a lot of references for posting. But just one got duplicated. So, I was just wondering what could have gone wrong.
Could it be because of some database commit or due to some memory buffer refresh which did not happen by mistake.
I'm just trying to figure out some possible causes for such a thing.
Your inputs and thoughts are welcome.
