Duplicate flows and inactive objects after BDLS and Merge

All,
Our team is facing a number of issues with a test environment created using BDLS.
As well as inconsistencies in the inactive/active statuses of objects between the development environment and BDLS created test environment, we are facing issues where we have a large number of duplicate flows and DTPs.
If you have faced a similar issue, please reach out. We'll be interested to understand how have these issues have come about and what can be done to resolve it.

there are some sap notes for system copies.
I think you must,
- delete the source depent objects (open the test system)
- maintain "Mapping of Source System Names"
- and import from the dev system again.

I want to delete a duplicate record from the current table.If there is one more record of the same kind. Compare the two records and fill the columns which are empty. Then Merge it. and Remove the duplicate record...Before deleting the record move it into the backup table..

I understand conceptually what you're after. At a detailed level, though, you're going to have to enunciate some specific rules to enforce.
1) What makes row A a duplicate of row B? Is it just the Name column? Some combination of columns? Something else?
2) What is the exact rule for merging rows? Among other questions
- If you have multiple non-NULL values for a particular column, which column wins? If you have one row that is Manchester, NH and one that is Nashua, NH, which would you keep?
- Does the merge logic depend on the particular column (i.e. perhaps you want the city & state to come from one row whereas first and last name can come from different rows)

Inactive Objects and Open Repairs found

Hi All,
I am applying Support Packs to my Solution Manager 7.1 system. I am in the Preprocessing step (SUM) and it has halted with: Inactive Objects and Open Repairs found.
There is a transport that needs to be released, but when I try to release it, it states:
Object INTF IWCI_POWL_TABLE_COMP is inactive
Object INTF IWCI_WDC_MAI_REP_DATA_PROVIDER is inactive
When I go to SE80, the objects have a status of:
Implemented / Inactive
When I activate them, I get a successful activation message, but they don't activate.
Not sure what to do. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, I've done the steps in note 1882203. It says it activated, but it doesn't. Here is the log from SUM:

Inactive authorization objects after patch upgrade

Hello all,
I've upgraded the version of all the patches of my 4.6C system, but I've a problem.
Now, I can see by PFCG t-code that a group of roles have objects of authorization inactive and I cannot remove and add again in the role.
A strange thing because if I go to SU25 t-code and I revise all the roles affected by the patches (specially one of the affected), I see the role fine but waiting to be adjusted. If I try to adjust the role by this transaction, the result is unsuccesful. I go after this to PFCG transaction and the objects are inactive.
Is strange, it seems that I've the role duplicated, in PFCG transaction I see the "bad" role with inactive objects and in SU25 transaction I see the "good" role waiting to be adjusted.
Anyone knows what's my problem ??

thanks for the answer.
I've executed the report and I've 4 or 5 roles with duplicated authorizations, but neither of them are my roles with objects inactive.
Anyway, I don't know that's my problem.
I would like to know if it's normal to see my role different by PFCG and SU25 and if anyone know how fix it.

Flow and Static checks

Hi there,
I created a datamodel and have applied a condition to it. When I execute the interface the invalid records are captured in the E$ table but all the other valid records do not appear on the target table. I couldn't able to find the reason for this. I have applied flow and static check to the condition and the same for the table column. Im not sure why the validate records are rejected.
Any help is appreciated.

Let me understand, do you want the invalid records at target table?
If you use the flow control it will keep the records at E$ and WILL NOT load it.
If you use static control, it will LOAD the data and, after that, verify what are the records with problems.
Don't use both controls at same time, it doesn't make logical sense unless when needs to validate distinct constraints at each moment.

I am getting the follow up errors: "This field contains duplicate values. Remove all duplicate values and try the operation again."
when I tried to make the field "Claim Number" from the list in site collection library. See the screen below:
1- I selected on the "List" and I clicked on the list name
"Claim Tracking Report"
2- After I clicked on the list name then I went to the ribbon and selected list setting to choose Enforce Unique for the Field Column
"Claim Number"
3- Then I went down and selected
"Yes" to Enforced the Unique for the Field Column "Claim Number".
4- Then after I clicked "Yes" I got the error
"Sorry, something went wrong. This field contains duplicate values. Remove all duplicate values and try the operation again." But I don't have any duplicates values Items, because I had them removed before I tried
to Enforce the field column values to Unique. Can someone help or provide me a suggestions on how I can solve this issue please. Thank you
FYI: I am using a Nintex Workflow

Hope this is a list, how many total items are there?
Please try to open this list as access(link in IE) and run this query in access
SELECT Claim.[Claim Number], Count(*) AS Expr1
FROM Claim
GROUP BY Claim.[Claim Number]
HAVING (((Count(*))>1));
Hope it will show something! if this does not show you dups then better to create a separate list and migrate items after configuring unique column.

Duplicate Queries and Query Components in BI Production Box

Hi:
We have a situation where we have duplicate queries and query components in our Production BI box.
The problem was caused by transports. We have a development landscape and a support landscape where both are transporting separately up to the BI Production Box.
For example, query ABC was created in the development landscape and transported up to our production box.
The same query ABC was created in our support landscape and transported up to our production box.
Now in the production box we have 2 queries ABC with the same technical name and description but with different active ELTUIDs.
We have found the program ANALYZE_RSZ_TABLES and it does show us this problem in our production box with many queries and query components.
The question is how do we get rid of the duplicate ELTUIDs in our Production box and how do we stop this from happening during transport?
any suggestions would be helpful.

I think you can use Tcode RSZDELETE to delete the duplicate UIDs of elements or any query objects.
Test it in dev box / sandbox before using it in prod.

i still didn't get what is really happening "behind the scenes" between Page Flows and Java Controls (Workshop 8.1). I would be glad if anyone could send to me more detailed documentation or explanation about this subject.
How can a Java Control to stand behind a Stateless Session Bean (GenericStatelessSLSB) and still to keep its internal state (instance variables) consistent ? How can a statefull Java Control to remain statefull being accessed by a stateless component (the EJB) ? Or is the source code of a Java Control (the JCS file) kept by the Page Flow and sent to EJB for its execution ?

Duplicate Photos and Movies when I download

Started getting duplicate photos and movies when after I upgraded to iOS 8. When I originally upgraded, I had issues with my music. I had to reset the phone and reload from scratch. That cleared up that problem. Now when I download the photos to my iMac, I get for the jpegs as photo-xy and a photo-xy-1. For the movies, I get the movie with a different file number but they are the same. Not sure why, HDR is not in use and it should not have any effect on movies.
The phone is a 5s running iOS 8.1.2. The images and movies do not show up as doubles when view looking through my iPhone. Its 16GB, so it wouldn't hold that many if there was duplicates. I also don't use iCloud for my photos or my music. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Is Aperture doing any processing? ("Window→Show Activity" -- anything there?)
Are the Images pixilated/degraded when shown in the Viewer as well as in the Browser? (Double-click an Image to open it in the Viewer.)
How 'bout at 100%? (In the Viewer, press "z" to zoom to 100%. The "z" key toggles the zoom.)
Does generating a new Preview remove the pixilation? (Select an Image in the Browser, hold down "{Option}" and click "Photos→Generate Preview".)

flow will make use of a predefined (by you) amount of branches, with flowN you can make the amount of branches dynamic
so lets say we have
getUserDetails
getAddressDetails
now you can use flow, create 2 branches and do the call to both methods in each branch.
let's say you receive a list of customers in your service interface. Now you can loop over with for-each of every customer and sequential do logic like getCustomerDetails in the loop, or ...you create a flowN and N will be the count of the customers in the list.
After this you will get N parallel branches which will do getCustomerDetails (instead of the other sequential looping)
so flowN is the dynamic variant which will create N branches based on the counter-field you base your expression on

If u duplicate the table the join conditions will carry with respective tables , same name appending (Table_Name#1)
If you duplicate a table in metadata, then that new table (with its new name) must map to a table in the physical database that has new name. If it doesn't exist, the SQL issued will generate an error.
An alias is a reference to a table that already exists, not a separate database object.
In case of Alias you need to specify joins conditions explicitly, we can use same table with different constrains to the same dim/fact table
Alias used, if you need to replicate a physical table and not create multiple tables with the same data or schema

Duplicate title and files in iTunes

Problem: Duplicate titles in iTunes
I have tried to find asolution for my problem with duplicate titles and duplicate files in iTunes andiTunes media (witch is the folder that iTunes keeps music and other media in).
I have/need:
Over 1000 duplicate titles
Some of the duplicates with same file and Some of them with two different files (this makes it much more difficult)
Allot of duplicated titles with the same “added date”
All the files are organized by iTunes in iTunes media,
Playlists that I don’t want to delete
Genre, album and artist information I don’t want to delete
I use Mac
The possibilities I have found:
"Show duplicates" in the menu in iTunes (To much work when there is over 1000 duplicate songs) and (Allot of duplicated titles with the same “added date” so I cant sort them that way)
Tuneup,plug-in (I’m not sure if Tuneup just removes the duplicate titles or the file behind the duplicate titles. If it deletes the file I’m going to end up with allot of songs missing their files, in other word the tunes are gone)
Idupe,app (cantboth remove duplicate files and leave the files of the oneswitch are only duplicate titles iniTunes)
Removeall music from iTunes an thenimport it all again after moving all iTunes media into one folder with “bigmean folder machine” (I’m afraid this is going to affect my playlists andgenre, artist, album organization.
"Consolidate" in the iTunes menu (not quitesure what that does)

Subforms that position content Objects in the subform are positioned according to their individual X and Y coordinates. When the form is rendered, the subforms are laid down in an order determined by their positions in the Hierarchy palette.
Subforms that flow content Objects in the subform are positioned during the data-merging process so that no objects are rendered on top of each other. Subforms that flow content are laid down in ascending order.
