Duplicate IR-L document.

We are in SAP 4.7. Once the Invoive verification document is posted for all the items for a PO with MIGO system is allowing to post one more document for the same PO. We have checked check duplicate invoice in teh vendor master which should prevent posting duplicate Invoice during MIRO. Is there any SAP notes to be implimented in our system to prevent duplicate invoice. or please suggest the User exit where we can code to prevent duplicate invoice during MIRO.

Clarify whether the second document you are posting has the following same as the original one
Vendor
Currency
Company code
Gross invoice amount
Reference document number
Invoice doc. date
If there is slight difference (for ex. "," or ".") The system will allow the second document
Check whether the error message is set as error or just warning, if warning user may not have ignored.
Also If you are uploading the batch file then you need to check if there is any error message in SM38

Why since upgrading to OSX Lion do i have to duplicate or ulock documents in iPages before I can make changes?

Getting Event of Popup after duplicate of a document

I have a question concerning duplicate of documents:
When you duplicate a document and give an a different Business Partner, the system asks you by a popup wether you want to update the rows or not.
Here you can choos "Yes" or "No". My question is, how can I get this event, what the user has pressed??? Is there any chance to get this information?

with the scenario which you haave described, you can only differ between different documents. That means you can differ between e.g. if the duplicate menu event was clicked in a sales order or in a delivery note, thats ok. BUT how do you know when the user has opened a delivery and the message class is not for duplicate but a different message? Form 0 is not only used for duplicate message. It is a general message form which is used for different messages.
Second problem is when I open a sales order and duplicate this. And than before I have finished the duplicating I open a second sales order and duplicate also this one. Than I have duplicate twice. I can store these information in a global variable (array) but I do not know when message class opens form which form the message comes then. Because I have two duplicates of two different sales orders.

Duplicate Adobe Draw Document

OK, where did you hide the duplicate document function? Or did you NOT add that basic feature in Draw either? The fact I cannot simply figure it out in your app if it is there means your UI is not intuitive. And if it's not in the app what the hell were you thinking? How is removing that even reasonable for users? It has to be here right? Someone clue me in. I tried searching and nothing shows up.
And as long as we are talking documents how do I delete an individual drawing with a project? Can you guys get any more unintuitive with this app?

Actually the pencil on notepad has long been the icon for edit in numerous apps. In fact, it has been the app icon for numerous text editors. The problem, and Adobe is to blame for perpetuating this trend, is flat design. Flat design sucks. It's easy for non-designers to do it but it's difficult, if not impossible, for them to do it right. Along the way common icons that had meaning when we used shading and fill color lost a lot, if not all, of their meaning in the transition to what passes for "modern" UI icons. Material shows some promise in rectifying the problem but it will take a lot of inertia for Apple to fix its own UI problems so app developers like Adobe can update their apps with better, more meaningful, icons.

Duplicate Mount Point "Documents 1" after improper reboot

Hi, I recently cold rebooted my SR-MBP (running 10.5.6), and on logging back in, I discovered to my utter surprise that my desktop had been restored to Factory State with all my preferences lost.
I have my HDD set up with two partitions. Partition 1 - "Macintosh HD" is the Leopard partition, and Partition 2 - "Documents" is where I had moved my HOME folder, and therefore contains all my Preferences, Documents, etc.
On closer examination, using Disk Utility I found that the "Documents" Partition had been renamed to "Documents 1", and my Home folder was mapped to /Volumes/Documents/Home. I remapped it to /Volumes/Documents \1/Home (the current renamed location) and it didn't solve the issue.
I found Apple's help on the issue http://support.apple.com/kb/TA24241?viewlocale=en_US . It suggests among other things to move the contents of the false Mount Point to /

I am not too sure of this step, does this move the contents (which would take forever for me since I have a 400 GB partition - nearly full), or just create a mount point? If it actually moves the contents, I would rather reinstall Leopard, as that would be faster for me. But I guess I am lost here... how does this work? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Just to add some detail here, in case this help those who come across this thread:
1. If the duplicate mount point is associated with an external drive, eject the drive or restart the Mac with the drive powered off.
2. Go to Finder by toggling Command + Tab across available selections.
3. Select Go > Go to Folder... (or press Shift + Command + G)
4. If necessary, type /Volumes in the displayed dialog box, and press Go.
5. You should see a folder in the displayed list with the offending name; right-click it, and select Move to Trash.
That should do it!

Can I Duplicate an entire Document?

Hello: OS: Windows 8 64 bit Illy: CS6
I was playing around with Illy tonight as I haven't been using it nealry as much as of late or even since all the recent updates.
Any way, it seems to me that I somehow managed to Duplicate a Document...
If you use Photoshop you'll know just what I mean... I'm talking about making an Exact Duplication of all the layers... of everything. You know simply: Image > Duplicate
I was playing around with different things and next thing I knew I had Two Document Windows open even though I'm about 99.9% certain that I didn't open a 2nd Doc and that I didn't make the exact same shape twice with same colors etc.
Of course... I could quite possibly have drifted off into some dual universe... (yes, that's the best i can come up with at 3am).
So, peoples ... does anyone know how I did this? Is there now a (hidden) way to make a Duplicate in Illy just like in Ps?
It's driving me a bit nutty.

File > Save As (This yields exact same content in duplicate file, name of your choice)

How to remove duplicate apps and documents in finder?

When I do an Open With, I get numerous instances of every app. It is due to my use of a SuperDuper mounted drive. Spotlight indexes that drive.
Now I have tried two different ways for months to fix this:
1) Preferences -> Spotlight -> Privacy, Add drive.
2) Terminal ->
$ sudo mdutil -i off /Volumes/SuperDuper
In using either method, it always works immediately for a few days. Then the behavior consistently returns due to no explicit intervention on my part, and Spotlight starts reindexing the drive. Is there a real solution to this annoyance? I suppose I could stop using that drive completely, or stop using Spotlight.

It's LaunchServices. These are only cache files but can get corrupted. Launch /Utilities/Terminal and copy & paste this at the prompt to rebuild LaunchServices: (be sure to copy the entire line it's a scroll)

Then press return. Wait until terminal returns to the command line. Quit Terminal. After that, log out and back in or restart. Let us know

How to duplicate a document?

I need to run a script that performs some modifications to the file, and in order to do that I would like to be working on a temp file.
process:
- run the script
- script duplicates file
- script runs on duplicated file
- close/dump duplicate file
I need help with the duplication process, i've done it before in a PSD script but the API seems to be different for Illustrator.
here's an AI example taken from "AI CS4 scripting reference"

Now although this can be tweaked to duplicate all layers, wether selected or not, it doesn't maintain the layers.
So it duplicates all pageItems into one single layer.
How can i duplicate the entire Document as is with same layers and pageItems structure?

You would have to use recursion in that case.
Here is a short (and incomplete) example of how to iterate through all the pageItems in all the layers. Be careful with recursion, because you could run out of memory if your document is enormous. I've put in a counter that limits the recursive steps to 5,000, but you can experiment.

Iphoto duplicates in images and documents

Is it normal for images to be stored in all images and all documents,
I would like to reduce the amount I have , but first want to be sure I do not delete the originals. Surely I am using double the space?

Duplicate includes in schema document

Hi,
We are using 9i xdk and java stored procedures.
We have a scenario where a schema is composed of multiple documents.
Document A defines common basic types and is included in documents B, C, D, and E.
One or more of these documents are included in top level schema documents (say, F,G,etc).
The schema builder is complaining about duplicate includes because document A is getting included multiple times when we include , say, B and C in a top level document.
Is there any way we can make XSDBuilder to ignore the duplicate includes?

How do I copy a page from one Pages document to another using Pages 5.0?

I posted this question on another page, and haven't recieved an answer to it yet. However I have found a temporary solution, so I am posting this here in case anyone else has a similar problem.
The issue here is that I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Maverick (10.9.1), and my Pages also upgraded (to 5.0.1), altering my Pages documents. This is the issue, as as far as I can see the new Pages does not offer some of the basic needs that the old Pages did! In other words it is worse than the previous version.
Using the upgraded new Pages 5.0.1 seems to result in some major editing problems for me. If you upgrade, make sure you KEEP the old version of Pages 09 (v 4.3). That is what has saved me! If you have the same problems I have had - explained below, you will still be able to close the new version and open your Pages document in the old version, provided it is not a new Pages document. If it is, it will be possible to export it as a Pages 09 document and edit properly.
After upgrading to the new Pages 5.0.1, when I open documents in Pages and try and copy a section from one document to another (easy before using the thumbnails) many of the Menu items previously available are visible but appear faded and are not possible, including Insert>Section Break/Page Break/Page Number and Edit>Cut/Copy/Delete/Undo/Redo
This even happens if I duplicate the Pages document and try and do any of these from the Duplicate (which should be an easily editable copy).
My solution has been to simply open all Pages documents that Iwant to edit (or may want to edit in future) in the old Pages app (v 4.3), which I never got rid of. That has meant I can continue editing and copying a section (of 1 or more pages) from one Pages document to another.
If anyone reading this has figured out a way to edit Pages documents using the new version 5.0.1 please post an explanation, and I will try it!

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

'Unknown Error' while exporting a document as '.DOC'

I'm using Pages '09 on a Mac Mini running OS-X Lion. I have a 66-page document, originally a .DOC file which I modified and am trying to convert back to a .DOC file. When I try to convert it I get a warning dialog which says: 'An Unknown Error Occurred'.
I searched these pages and found that a number of people reported this and managed to fix it by solving some sort of problem with fonts, but I could not understand what people said they did to fix it. So I made a duplicate of my document, removed the last 30 pages, tried to export, got the error. Removed the last 15 pages, etc. until I found the page which was causing the problem.
Doing this I found two problem pages. The first one had a style called 'Body Bullets' which was using Helvetica 10 point. I changed it to Arial 10 point, but it did not solve the problem. So I deleted the style and used a built-in style called 'Bullet' which I redefined to use Arial 11 point. That worked.
The next problem page had a small section in Arial 10-point. I changed it to use 'Body' style (which I had defined earlier to use Arial 11-point) and now the whole document can be successfully converted to .DOC without errors.
My question is can this be fixed or do I have to avoid using Helvetica/Arial 10-point fonts in my document?

Here I have no problem with these fonts :
For Doing this I found two problem pages I used Helvetica 10.
For The next problem page had I used Arial 10.
I was able to export without any kind of problem.
It would be a good idea to scan your fonts with FontBook.
Some may be corrupted or some may be conflicting.
