Duplicate page on hrforms time statement

Hi all,
I have created a Time Statement within HR Forms (using Smartforms) by copying the SAP provided form. But when I execute the form from within ESS I get an extra, duplicate page on the front. It contains the headings and sections with no data. The second page appears correct and contains the data for the employee.
To insure I had not introduced a problem, I copied the delivered form again and only changed minimal config in order to print something. I get the same result.
Has anyone had this problem and what did you do?

Yes, by using a different SAP delivered form to start with. As Barin said above, use the forms ending with 001 or 002. The form I cloned was never meant to be published and contained errors.

How do I produce a duplicate page, without having spare pages at the end?

I am a basic user, who is currently trialing the adobe acrobat and Livecycle Design programs...
I am practising the preparation of a report which could have an individuals personal details in "page 1" and the report in pages 2-8 for example...
If I wanted to include, lets say, 5 individuals on the same report, is there a way in which I can have a drop down box, which could ask "how many individuals are in this report" and I could select "5" from a drop down box, causing adobe to add additional pages and duplicate page 1 five times.
Or, at the end of page 1, could I have a tick box or any other type of button which could state "If you have another individual, please "tick box/add/etc". Also adding a new page with the blank page 1 format.
At the moment, I have added blank copies of page 1 at the end of the report. The option described would stop me having to print every report I completed with several blank copies of "page 1" when they may not be required.
It also prevents me from completing the report then printing it, reseting the form and printing page 1 for each individual (5 times in my example)

Acrobat Macintosh forum, or specific LiveCycle Designer questions in

Create PDF Online is a subscription service on Adobe's web site which
only makes PDF files, nothing else, so it won't help you.

Hi Charlott...
Open System Preferences > Print & Scan then select the Print tab.
Click: Open Print Queue...
Delete all documents in the queue
Restart your Mac, turn off the printer then turn it back on then try printing.
Not sure which update you are referring to. If you have Lion installed and updated to v10.7.3, I doubt that had any effect on printing.
BTW... when you post, please tell us which Mac OS X you have installed. Thanks!

I HAVE NOW SOLVED THE PROBLEM BY RUNNING WINDOWS REGISTRY REPAIR TOOL WHICH HAS OBVIOUSLY REPAIRED CORRUPT REGISTRY FILES.

How to display different Time Statement forms in ITS service PZ04

Hi all,
I am working on a underlyinge R/3 4.7 system and are working with standalone ITS and ESS 50.4. I am posting this question to find out if any of you has experience with my problem.
The business wishes to use the ITS transation PZ04 standard and wish to be able to display different Time Statement forms in the transaction through customized variants for the report(RPTEDT00) that the PZ04 transaction executes. In the IMG it is posted that one variant has to be created called HRESS_TEDT00 and this works, but restricts the PZ04 transaction to always be called with this variant and therebye the same Time Statement form every time.
I then by debugging found that the underlying ABAP code processed from SAP standard has a variable VARIANT that is hardcode to = HRESS_TEDT00.
The question is: Is there anyway to setup the PZ04 transaction so that it can be dynamic decided which variant should be used, f.ex. from persons subarea from infotype 0001?
Looking forward to here if anybody can help.

Duplicate pages for the same artist

Hi, In the Indian Classical instrumental music there are two artists with duplicate pages due to slight variation in name or spelling. These are Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia Pandit is a title. These should be combined so all albums show up together. The usual reason why an artist appears several times is because of spelling differences, capitalistion, or guest artists.

Does the same thing happen on any other books that you have in the app ? If not then it's probably just that one book, in which can you could try deleting the book and re-downloading it - if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' from your purchase history :http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1933

Force oraclexe to only display one page at all times

The page that i use,uses a view with instead of triggers to update the underlying tables.
I do use dml for updating the view, but I use an application item to store the
number of the current form accessed. ( a form that is used in the process that i
have to automate) .
If two browser windows are open and the application item is changed, it will be set
to the value in the window that updated the item last.
When i open the first browser window and save the form, the value of the
application item used will be the value set by the window that updated the form
last.
How can I make it possible for a user to open two browser windows in one
session, without this problem, or if that isn't possible, how can i restrict the user
from opening more than one application page in the same session?

i have developed time statement in PE51 name ZF03,BUT IN ess the time statement is coming from
tc-hrforms,which is totally different from ZF03,what i want that my form-ZF03 will display in ESS for this what sud i do how will i configure zf03 instead of form from "HRFORMS".
PLZ help me as i already searched alot in th forum but didnt get my answer.

You can't show a PE51 form. SAP has provided standard HR forms which you need to copy to your requirement.
You can do this without much abap knowlege as HRFORMS transaction is a logical nested loop of condition. Go to the layout of the copied form and customize as you want.

Time Statement

Hi experts,
Related time statement on ESS portal (EP 6.0 SP20 ERP2004),
1. I have activated PYXXFO_SAP_TIM_99_0001 in "smartforms" t-code
2. Activated SAP_TIM_99_0001
3. Assigned the form in HRFOR feature.
It worked before, now the system is throwing an error form is not found. Does this form need Adobe Document Services Installed and working on AS Java.
Or is there configuration missing on R/3 side!
Please help me. I appreciate your help.

forms exists in HRforms , i can also see the form time statement in tabular format
but cant see the pdf form .what could be the reason . I have given the value
SAP_TIM_99_0001 as the HRform vause , seen it HRFORMS transaction .it seems to be active since preceded by a green icon

ESS Time Statement

Hello to all,
I'm trying to switch the default Time Statement Form in the Portal 7.0(SAP_TIM_99_0001, designed in HRFORMS) for a form designed in PE51.
I modified the HRFOR feature but when I change nodes ESD or ESP for the my PE51 form, the portal returns a "form not found" error. Strange is that the TMW node works fine, I can either enter the HRFORMS form or the PE51 form and see the different results in SAPGUI.
Anyone has a clue on how to set this up?

ESS Time Statement Report not Active?

I am running ERP2004 ESS with IDES. I think were on SP9. I have adobe document services installed and its working ok with other reports, however when I try to run the Time Statement report I get an error "Print program not activated for form SAP_TIM_99_0001".
I tried going into transaction HRFORMS to active it, but it says there is an error in the code, some variable is not declared. The code is out of the box and can't be changed so I'm thinking these could be the possible problems:
     1. The SAP_TIM_99_0001 form delivered in the SP has errors and I need to apply a new SP level.
     2. I am not trying to active the program right. (Currently I am going into HRFORMS, selecting the report, then activating it)
     3. There needs to be some configue done that will help this compile right.
Please let me know if you have any insight to this problem and if you have it working yourself.

I have the same problem but now in another version.
I'm working with ERP2005 ECC 6.0 Portal: 2004s SP7
When I try to open the Time Statement in the workset Working Time I receive the same error message, but in this case, say that the Form SAP_TimeSlip is missing.
I went to that transaction you mencioned and the Form is already Activated.
Can you help me with this issue?

Duplicate pages...a faster way

In Adobe Professional: I need to duplicate pages 20 times. For example, a page with exhibit A will need to be in this 20 times. Now, I am going to Document>Insert Pages...> (choosing the file) > and then inserting it. I do this whole process 20 times. How do I do it 1 times but insert 20 pages of the same document in this one PDF file.

I don't have a one-step solution for you, but there are other ways to do your task until a solution is found.
Idea 1: Insert the page once. Open the thumbnails view. Select the page to be duplicated. While holding down the Control key, click and drag the page to duplicate it. You can select multiple pages for duplication using the same method.
Idea 2: Open the main document and the document to be inserted. Open them side-by-side (Windows > Tile > Vertically) with thumbnails view in each. You can drag the pages from one document to another.
Idea 3: Right click on the file you want inserted and select Combine Supported files in Acrobat. A window will open. Drag the file 19 more times. Click Combine Files and save. Insert the saved file into your document.
Idea 4: Create a batch script. Advanced > Document Processing > Batch Processing > New Sequence > (name) > Select Commands > select Page > Insert Pages > Edit... etc.

Unable to view Time-Statement for the Chosen period in Portal

I am unable to get the timestatement for the Chosen period in Portal
What are the configurations that are to be made for the Timestatements to get dispalyed at the Portal end .
At r/3 end , we have a timestatement data for an employee and moved that to a Cluster B1. so how does it reflect in the portal.
What am i missing to get that Timestatement to get displayed on Portal

Hi there,
As of what I see it is an MSS scenario.In this you used a business package, iviews. There should be a webdynpro application or BSP application running at the front end to get this out.
Now, as you mentioned at the R/3 end you have a time statement. So if your web application is programmed properly, it will fetch the req. time data from backend. What you need to see is that the web application is bug free.
You need to do some debugging there, if the right data is fetched.
but before all this, you need to check if your portal worksets in the business package are set up properly, along with the iviews, pages.

Have you tried deleting and then redownloading the book via the Purchased tab at the bottom of the store in the iBooks app ? If it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
