Duplicate smtp profiles

My iPhone is with O2 and is running V 4.2.1
I have smtp.o2.co.uk as my primary SMTP
I have three more versions of it in my Other SMTP servers - plus the one for mail.authsmtp.com that I use for WiFi.
I tried tidying it up yesterday as per this thread:-

In the process the ability to send messages died and I had to re-install my three email addresses again from scratch.
What are these duplicates? Do the do any harm? Is there a safe way to get rid of them?

You can export the certificate from a CAS server, import it into the Edge server, and enable it for SMTP, but that's probably not what you want. What the SMTP certificate name should have is the hostname that's used, i.e., the Internet
A record of the server, which may not be the server name depending on what you publish. That's the same name that's pointed to by the MX record.

i did not add the edge servers name ! i did not pay attention to TLS thing and ...
I just wanted all my accepted domains in any access method including outlook, OAW, OWA, Activesync clients to be protected by the cert and now they are
the edge server names and MX records are the same
I mean the MX records are edge1.domain.net and this is the name of the server too (edge1)
do you recommend adding these names to the SAN's List too ? any value in it ?

"where does firefox 'profiles' end up in Windows 7? I see there are duplicate 'default'profiles in a local and roaming folders.

I am moving my 'profile' from one netbook (which uses Windows XP) to a newer netbook (using Windows 7 starter). I have found two folders off the 'users/(my name)/local' and 'users/(my name)/roaming' that seem to be duplicate default profile folders. When I copy my profile from the older netbook, how do I know which folder to put it into.

Duplicate SMTP Servers

I've been trying to set up email on my iPod Touch, and in doing so, have added and removed my Gmail account a few times. I how find that I have the Gmail ougoing mail server listed multiple times in the SMTP list.
How can I remove the duplicates?

I'm having problems with Leopard! My son just updated to Snow Leopard on his new laptop, but I'm on Leopard. We're on the same network, though. This morning, when I opened Mail, it acted like there was an update for it. My outgoing server list (for 6 email accounts!!! on different kinds of servers - including the MobileMe server) was erased, my signatures were erased, my customized toolbar was put to default, my font settings were put to default.
I put the server back into the server list. Nope. Offline.
I used a separate user account and reproduced one of the email addresses there, and it's just fine.
I created a new email account in my main user account (to see if deleting and email account and putting it back in would help). Nope. Outgoing server offline.
The "send" button is grayed out.
SCREAMINGGG! I'm repairing my permissions and zapping the PRAM shortly. I tried putting the plist in the trash, but then all my accounts went away. Back went the plist.
Can anyone please, please, please help me???????
I'd call Apple, but since the Applecare on my MacPro expired on November 7, I'm hosed. They want to charge me $50 to fix their problem (which is now my problem).

I loaded the profile song toolbar twice, how do I get rid of the duplicate and profile song will not show when I am on my FB page anymore it gives me a strange security error

1.) Just tried reloading the toolbar for profile song. I now have two and not sure how to get rid or uninstall one of them.

If it happens again the make sure that you aren't suppressing website colors.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Sharepoint 2013 ADFS Integration duplicates User Profiles for each Authentication Type

Hello everyone
i am building up a sharepoint farm which is hosting some of our corporate web sites. before integration Adfs and using SAML-Based Authentication every user had a single User Profile and were happy.
when i integrated adfs 3.0 and sharepoint 2013 SP1 i found whoun a user logs into sharepoint by using trusted identity token issuer (adfs 3.0) they get redirected to a new profile which is totally different from their old Profile. what is the problem ?

Problem updating 2.1 to 2.2--duplicate camera profiles

I'd installed the Camera Profiles beta 2 in Lightroom 2.1.
Now that I've upgraded to Lightroom 2.2, for every camera profile there is a beta version of it.
For example, there is "Camera Portrait" and "Camera Portrait 2".
Is this normal or a glitch?

Once the beta profiles are removed, any image using them will show a blank name in the Camera Calibration panel.
Adobe should supply a tool to update the profile names from the beta to non-beta.

Pseudo-duplicate camera profiles

Hi all,
I downloaded some camera profiles from the net, I placed the .dcp files in the right place and now I can use them, except for the following problem: TWO of these profiles having a (of course) different file name, share the same internal name ("Standard").
I'd like to give credit to the original author and (say) rename it to "Standard made by XYZ". Is there a way to edit it? (Hex-editing the binary file is ok, but I'm not sure it will work... do profiles have an internal checksum?)

minor update: I tried hex-editing the file, carefully overwriting "Standard" with "Std 2011" (same length) and it apparently works. However I'm not considering this a solution, so I'd like to hear some proper answer...

How do I duplicate a configuration profile in the iPhone Configuration Utility?

I have over 60 iPad 3 which need configuring. I want a configuration profile for each one (each one will have a unique email setup on each profile)

Onscreen Proofing Profiles Missing

"Aperture provides several dozen profiles that match the characteristics of many printers, screen devices, and color spaces." according to the bottom of page 125 in the online manual. However, the only profiles I have listed in Aperture's View/Proofing Profile menu are ones provided with the OS and others I have installed in Library/Colorsync/Profiles. So, how do I get these "dozens of profiles" to appear? My original install was Aperture 1.1 to a MacBook Pro 2GHz 15" running OS 10.4.5. I'm currently running Aperture 1.1.2 in OS 10.4.7.

This is a well-document bug.
If you do a search through the proofing threads, you will find a simlar thread to this.
Fortunately, I have provided a temporary solution to this bug. It seems as though Aperture does not like profiles that are set to the "display" class. In order to have Aperture use the profile correctly, you must manually change the profile that is giving you trouble, i.e. sRGB from "display" class to "output" class. Once this is done, Aperture will show images correctly when using it as a proof.
Be sure to duplicate the profile that you wish to change and rename it, i.e. web-proofing or something to that effect.
You can download the software to change the profile class from fuji film as they have a demonstration package that you can use temporarily to do this.

Backing up a User Account/Profile from an iBook to a Mini possible?

I have an iBook which my wife uses on a regular basis. Is it possible to backup her account/configuration/data onto my Mini.
Or is it possible to duplicate her profile from the iBook onto my Mini under her account.
Actually, she has an account on my Mini but never uses it, perfering the mobility the iBook offers.

HOME folders, and thus accounts, are completely portable. By copying your wife's HOME folder from the iBook to the Mini (using Firewire Target Disk mode), then creating an account for her on the Mini using the exact same short name as on her iBook, her account can be exactly duplicated.
One little-mentioned, but highly useful feature in Tiger is that when you create a new account using the same short name as a folder in "Users" that already exists, the existing folder will be used as the HOME folder for the new account, and Tiger will tell you so (technically, this has always been the case, but previous OSes wouldn't inform you of the fact).
Boot your Mini normally and log in as an admin user. Connect the iBook to the Mini using a 6-pin to 6-pin Firewire cable (an iSight camera's cable will do), then hold down the "T" key when booting the iBook. THis will boot the iBook into Target Disk more, and its HD will mount on your Mini's Desktop. Copy your wife's HOME folder from the iBook to the "Users" folder on the Mini, eject the iBook and shut it down, then create a new account for her on the Mini. Be sure to use the same short name.

Possible to Merge Forum Profiles?

So, I had a duplicate forum profile problem (discussed here) that got resolved, which got me wondering about the following situation.
I've moved from one country to another, and so had to create a new Adobe ID (for online purchases, etc.).
Does anyone know if it's possible to merge the forum info (the past posts, points, etc.) for my two accounts?

I have two profiles one from when I was a macromedia customer and one for Adobe. I tried several times, went through the online process, and went around in circles, so many times it made me dizzy.

Does Oracle has features like Profiler in MS SQL

Since I'm new to Oracle I would like to know from you guys does Oracle has the feature like that of Profiler like present in MS SQL. Since I need those services for my work so really like to know about it. I tried to find out that feature but couldn't. So please share your knowledge about it .

As someone who has actually used SQL Profiler I will add a few comments.
There are two Oracle features that may be of interest when trying to duplicate SQL Profiler information.
Niall mentioned the Oracle trace facility. Oracle is heavily instrumented and the internal measurements for how long individual operations executed and/or waited are available via the trace facility. It can be turned on by a session (several methods available) and it is also possible to turn trace on externally for an already running session.
An experienced DBA may choose to work with the raw trace file but Oracle provides a utility trkprof which will format the trace file collecting the execution information (number of physical IO, Logical IO, and rows returned) by SQL statement.
This kind of trace files are primary used for tuning purposes. Trace files can also be used to capture bug information via setting database events,
You can find information on SQL trace in the Performance and tuning manual.
Another feature that may be of interest is the Log Miner feature. This feature allows you to see the SQL in the online or archived redo logs. It is possible to generate SQL to back out changes that were applied.
This reminds me of another feature that will allow you to see "recent" activity: flash back query. For as long as the information is retained in the undo segments it is possible to query all activity against a row or set of rows in a table.
Again each of these features is documented in the standard documentation.

Can I turn off auto tab loading, if no, question about uninstalling newest version of firefox

I tend to wind up with far too many tabs open at one time to not bog firefox down. I came up with a very useful workaround - close and re-open firefox with it disconnected from the internet.
Thru version 3.6.19 this works beautifully, because when it can't find the internet, it loads all of the tabs as "problem loading page." They load quickly but don't use much memory and don't bog Firefox down that way. Then I connect to internet, and work the the tabs at my leisure. That way I have many tabs of pages I'm interested in ready for me, but only a few actually open and using memory etc.
When I upgraded to the newest Firefox version, I had a lot of tabs already open but I discovered my workaround trick no longer works. As soon as I reconnect the internet, all the 'problem loading' tabs automatically start loading the full/real pages.
QUESTION 1: Is there a way I can turn this function off, at least for awhile until I can work thru the set of tabs I already had loaded when I upgraded?
QUESTION 2: Is there a way I can easily/quickly break a single window with a bunch of tabs into multiple windows? I mean WITHOUT having to handle each tab one by one...
QUESTION 3: Is there some way to get a window listing all tabs and windows where I can delete selected tabs, while I have that window open? The dropdown on the righthand side of the page doesn't work for this, because it shows them all as 'problem loading page' rather than showing the url (or maybe there is a way to change the display in the dropdown menu?)
Since I discovered this problem, I re-installed Firefox 3.6.19 (leaving the new Firefox version on the computer too). I did NOT make a new profile because I wanted it to see the session manager set of tabs I had already, my preferences & passwords, etc.... I am running 3.6.19, but I suspect it is having some problems because of both versions being on the computer with the single profile however, as its crashing more often and using more memory & CPU... I also tried to save the window in session manager (which I had before I loaded the new firefox), but got an error message.
QUESTION 4: Is this likely the problem, e.g., two firefox versions but no new profile? IF so, is there a way to duplicate the profile so each firefox version has it's own, but both are identical?
QUESTION 5: If uninstall the new Firefox, will the 3.6.19 version still run properly, with my profile, settings, session manager saved sessions, etc. all still intact?
