Duplicate sound running on slideshow

Hi, I know this is another sound issue but I have gone through many pages in the discussion forum and not seen this issue.
I have a presentation which in Inspector has no 'Builds' and in Document /Audio (I have dragged from Media / Audio) a mp3 file which is set to Loop with the Volume up. Runs fine on the preview, but when I Play presentation, I have the two soundtracks running, the same duplicate file but outta sync, like another is embedded somewhere. When I go back to Document /Audio and turn Off and then Play presentation I have one soundtrack but re-starts on the click of each slide. I cannot seem to find where this other soundtrack is located. Any clues? Hope that's enuff info. Thanks

Even though you may have no Start Audio Builds listed in the Inspector > Build > Options Builds List, a "hidden" audio file "imbedded" in a slide still will begin to play, usually on a click but sometimes even automatically when the slide appears on the screen. This may be the source of the problem you describe.
To find these "hidden" files, while viewing the slide do a Select-All (Command-A) and look for the "handles" surrounding a speaker icon. They may be behind some other graphic object, which is why they are "hidden." Select this icon and delete it; that will stop it from playing.
Another thing to check is in the Inspector > Document > Audio window: In addition to a Soundtrack, you also might have a recorded "Narration" which still will play even if you turn-off the Soundtrack. (While unlikely, this might be the cause of your problem.) IF so, delete this duplicate background track.
Once you have deleted all possible duplicate (or extraneous) audio tracks, then reinstall your desired MP3 audio file as the Soundtrack and you should be good to go.
