Duplicate text or titel

Hi
I'm new in Premiere Elements 9.0. Everything is working fine and I'm getting to know my way around.
There is only one thing that is really bothering me. I hope somebody can help me out here.
I make a new title using the 'T' symbol underneath the preview screen. This puts the text on the timeline and then I start editing my text.
To make a new textclip with the same properties I copy this piece of text by selecting the clip on the timline and then using CTRL-C. Than I move the slider and press CTRL-V to paste it onto the timeline.
Now, if I change the text of the second (copy) clip, the text in the first clip will also change....
This is probably a small setting or something to change it but it is really bothering me. Is there a link between the two clips that I have to turn of?
Is there another quick way to do this without changing the settings over and over again.
I don't want to use the style option because it will not remember the position. I just want to copy and paste so the clip is exactly the same exept for the possibility to change the test itself.

Problem on Elements 12 in this thread:
On mac, when I have the title I want to duplicate selected...
the right click menu does not show a duplicate option or the
pull down under EDIT for duplicate is greyed out. I try the
same for the actual clip underneath the title and duplicate is
also greyed out. I don't have access to a PC right now but
you think it would work.

This is not a trial version but purchased version. Is there an
update that fixes this or am I missing something here? Is it
a Mac version issue? Can you check or is there a work-

instead of duplicating across like I can do in FCP (X).

I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.4, my husband has an iPhone 3 and has finally updated his software to iOS 6.1.4 as well (he hadn't updated it since he bought it years ago). We have the problem of duplicate text messages - my phone now thinks its his phone (ie I've lost my contacts, but have all of his) and when I send him a text, he gets it but so do I. It also comes up on our iPad. I thought it was perhaps an iCloud account issue so made a second iCloud account and logged into that on my phone but it hasn't helped.
The duplicate messages are driving me crazy - how do I stop them?

I have the same question. My daughter and I share an apple account which is fine, but now I am getting some of her texts and each time I send her one I get a duplicate? I thought I messed this up when we tried to Facetime each other and I have deleted all those options. How do I fix it so I have my own texts and she has her own texts, I don't get duplicate texts but she can still access our I tunes account? Please help

Duplicate Text From Shell Script in Automator

I'm trying to run a automator script that allows me to select a couple of files, run a sha1 checksum, and output a text file. My current version works 100% within the automator app, however when I use it as a context menu service, it outputs duplicate text. Here's my current workflow and what it outputs.
Get Selected Folder Items
Run Shell Script
Copy to Clipboard (I've tried "new text file", and "new textedit file" as well)
Outputs:
SHA1(~/Desktop/Actions/Test/TEST.atn)= 88902acfb51e0f9a0c6dbedce69ce9618e26bc00
SHA1(~/Desktop/Actions/Test/TEST.atn)= 88902acfb51e0f9a0c6dbedce69ce9618e26bc00
Any help would be appreciated.

Snow Leopard's Services workflow is automatically passed the type of selected items (that is what the selections at the top of workflow window are for), so just remove the *Get Selected Finder Items* action, since that is having the result of doubling the input items.

Duplicate Text Messages

Hello,
I currently a droid x running android 2.3.3 in the Royersford, PA area. I updated to Android 2.3.3 2-3 weeks ago. After this update I started receiving a noticeable amount of duplicate text messages. The duplicates can number anywhere from 2 to 11 and are received over a ten minute period. As I am sure you can imagine this is extremely frustrating. It is also not restricted to one contact. I have received duplicate texts from 4 different carriers and the majority of types of phones available ranging from iphones to android to non-smartphones.
In an attempt to resolve the issue I visited my local verizon store and after spending about 20 minutes of being asked over and over if i had tried taking the battery out (which I had) I was finally told to perform a factory reset on my phone. I did and after 2.5 hours of redownloading all my apps (apparently they haddn't backed up to google's servers yet) I started receiving duplicate messages again (it actually started before I redownloaded all my apps). I returned to the verizon store in the next few days only to be told that since they could not get the problem to replicate itself in store (this after waiting for 45 minutes for the clerk to go around the store and use every display phone to text my phone) there was nothing they could do to help me, even though I still had duplicate messages in my inbox.
After waiting about a week I grew frustrated enough to try again and they agreed to give me a new phone (which I currently have). I didn't receive a duplicate for about 2 days and then it started again and has gotten progressively worse ever since. I even tried switching from the stock messaging app to handcent but it did not help (and yes I disabled the default messaging app).
Is anyone out there capable of fixing this issue? Is it an android problem, a droid x problem, or a verizon problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A few more bits of information. My mom also has the droid x running 2.3.3 and has recently started experiencing the same problem but not to the extent that I do. My brother has a htc incredible running something other than 2.3.3 (I'm not sure what) and experiences the same problem as myself (this leads me to believe it is either an android problem or verizon but since it is on two different versions of android I am leaning towards verizon).

Check duplicate text in illustrator

Hi all,
I need to check the duplicate text in the eps files.
(i.e) In the images the text frames are same for example "apple" text which appears in the eps files more than 2 or etc. How to check.
either error message or the duplicate text to be highlighted.

Duplicate text in an email

Just upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
eg, is I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?.
What it really sends is : Hi, how are you?Hi, how are you? </div>
Anyone got any ideas???

Duplicate text messages in messages+

I am receiving duplicate text messages when using messages+ as my default app. A msg I send is sent twice & I receive messages twice. This just started about two weeks ago. I have had my galaxy5 for two months. I turned off the stock app yesterday & I am still getting & sending duplicate texts. Cache has been cleared without success. Help please!

Try the stock app in safe mode. You may need a factory reset

Random duplicate text messages.

I keep recieving duplicate random messages after upgrading to the iPhone 6. Most of the time it is at the time i recieve a message or mms but it has happened where it can be many hours later. I have recieved the same message up to 5 or 6 times in one or two cases. Any idea why this might be happening?

Sending duplicate text messages

My phone is sending duplicate text messages whenever I send to my contacts. How do I stop this?
I've noticed this on my RAZR Maxx and now my HTC One M8.

Lets stop the maddness so your friends only get signal messages when you send them. I know you moved from the Maxx to the M8. Did this start right away with the M8 or did it take a little bit of time? Do you use the native Messaging app that came with the phone or one that was downloaded from the Play Store?

Duplicate Text Messages - Pantech Crux

Hello, I began receiving duplicate text messages once I upgraded to a Pantech Crux. The duplicates are not labeled *duplicate message* like others, rather they are just received about 30 seconds after the original.
This happens regardless of sender but does not always happen. It will also happen regardless of whether or not I read the first message before the duplicate arrives.
Is there any solution to this? Will I be charged for all the duplicates?

Duplicate text messages Handcent msgs

I downloaded the handcent application and it sends out duplicate text messages. People have gotten the same message from me anywheres from 2-5 times. Not everytime, but still annoying is there a way to fix this problem. It has gotten worse just recently

When you download a new messaging application on the phone you would want to make sure that the old messaging application is closed. The default messaging application is probably running in the back ground causing duplicate messages.
Lets try 3 things to correct this issue:
First you would want to disable the default messaging application.
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Settings.
Touch Applications.
Touch Running services.
Touch a service (select the default messaging application).
Choose the default messaging application.Touch Stop.
Second could I get you to do a soft reset on the device.
Soft Reset
Press the Power key.
Touch Power off.
Touch OK.
Press the Power key to power on the device.
Third:
Could I get you to dial *228 send and option 1 on the device.
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Settings.
Touch Applications.
Touch Running services.
Then re-check your applications, making sure the default messaging application is not running.

Toggle iMessage Off then On
Turning iMessage off then on again worked for my particular issue. You can do this by following these steps:
From the Home screen, open “Settings“.
Select “Messages“
Slide “iMessages” to off for about 3 minutes, then turn it back on.
Your iPhone will be re-registered and may clear up the duplicate text message notification problem.
Repeat Alerts Setting
There is a setting that repeats notifications which could cause this issue. Check it with these steps:
From the Home screen, open “Settings“.
Select “Notification Center“.
Choose “Messages“.
Ensure that the “Repeat Alerts” setting is set to “Once“.
Send & Receive Setting
Another setting that involves sending notifications to multiple numbers could be the issue as well. Check the following:
From the Home screen, open “Settings“.
Select “Messages“.
Choose “Send & Receive“.
Ensure that only your phone number is listed in the “You can be reached by iMessage at” area. If you have an email address or anything else listed, it could cause duplicate text messages.
