Duplicate Workitem in Inbox

Hi Gurus,
I have created new Z event for Service notification (ZCHANGE) which will trigger on the change of service notification. I have configured this using TCODE SWEC. While configuring this I have selected option 'On Change'.
For creation of Service Notification I am using standard event (CREATED) and also configured this using SWEC. While configuring this I have selected option 'On Create'.
Now when I'm creating Service Notification I'm receving two workitems triggered by these events. where as there should be only one wrokitem in the inbox on creation.
I have checked Workflow log, these Workitems are getting triggered by one workflow and with two separate events 'CREATED and ZCHANGE'.
Any inputs, as how can i get only one workitem in my inbox?

Thanks for reply.
Here my senario is I want to trigger mail two times when user is creating and user is changing service notification.
Standard event is to trigger workflow on create service notification and Z event is on change service notification.
When I am changing service notification then only my Z event is get triggered.
But on create both these events are getting triggered.

    Are you using a triggering event to start the workflow? Please check the event trace to see if 2 events are bing raised. If so then please check if you or someone else have maintained and entry in SWEC (Change documents) to raise this event also. This may be the reason for 2 events.

    Hi Ashu,
    The text is coming from the Text symbol of standard include program LSWU2F10.
    Text symbol number is 301.
    Check for enhansement option to change the text symbol.
    But this change will affect all your decision step workflow's.

    Hi,
    My Workflow Step calls a Cutom Transaction which should have a button Cancel and keep Workitem in Inbox.How do i go abaout implementing this.
    It should work similar to the User Decision cancel and keep work item .
    My Step also has a Confirm End of processing Check.So if i click on the Cancel
    the work item the screen confirm end of processin step should not appear and workitem should be in my Inbox

    Just call EXIT_CANCELLED. in your method. This cancels a WI without completing it and leaves it in the inbox.

      exit_cancelled.

    I have worked on standard BO. 
    PR release workflow as purchaseofficer got the mail and pr release-please register workitem..that's fine.
    But purofcr should be  click on workitem. he is not saved. then purofcr back to inbox. but workitem is not inbox. it's go to outbox.
    now client requirement workitem is not saved still in inbox  after saved then go to outbox.
    Plz need your's help.

    i  know difference in mail  & workitem.  and check also outbox.
    my Workflow purchase officer got mail and workitem both.he is click on workitem. then he is not check the confirm  button. he is back to inbox.
    not before confirm check box disappear on workitem in inbox.. then after check the check the disapper in workitem.

    In Macbook Pro, in Mail, I receive a duplicate message in the Inbox. Under the inbox file is another file labeled with my e-mail address. I only receive the one message in it. How do I stop getting duplicate messages in My Inbox?

    Hi - in case there is anyone out there who has the same problem - mine got miraculously cured with the recent update of Mail. I only wish I hadn't spent upwards of 8 hours trying to fix something that was a software fault all along. Had I known this Apple, I wouldn't have wasted lots and lots my time trying to fix it...doh.

  • Mail 4.1, Exchange, and Duplicate messages in inbox

    Using Snow Leopard and Mail 4.1 to access an exchange account and a gmail account. The problem ONLY occurs in the Exchange account. My messages are all duplicating. Only in Mail are they duplicating. I've checked Outlook Web Access and Outlook on my windows machine - no duplicates there. Didn't start out this way, and the problem came once before, stopped, and now it has returned. If I delete one copy of the message, both messages get deleted. Is there someway to rebuild the mail inbox? or resync?
    Also, tried creating a new folder on the exchange server, copying all messages from inbox to the new folder, then moving back. In the temp/new folder, the messages were single. After copying back to Inbox - they doubled again. And again, only in Mail. The msgs remain single in Outlook, OWA, iPhone, Blackberry.
    UPDATE: I highlighted the exchange mailbox and went to MAILBOX > REBUILD. Erased everything but only in Mail. The messages are still on the Exchange server and can be seen by OWA, Outlook, iphone and blackberry. New messages are going to the Mail Exchange inbox but old messages are gone. Any way to get them back?

    you can ask but they won't say anything different.
    I could never have known that the default setting on mac's mail would be "remove copy from server after retrieving a message".
    now, that's a valid point. this is not exactly advertised and mail setup assistant does not tell you anything about it. you can voice your concern to apple about this issue here

    I wish apple had some kind of a solution for this.
    there isn't anything you can do now. it's not up to apple at this point. you just can't upload messages to a POP email server. it does not matter what email client or what operating system you are using.

  • Duplicate Emails in Inbox

    I keep getting the same emails again & again in my inbox. My emails are being repopulated since yesterday even though I have been deleting them and emptying the trash. I can send & receive emails though. Please help how I can stop this from happening ? Thankyou.

    I was having a similar issue, and noticed that somehow a duplicate account showed up in my accounts (with essentially all the same info, accessing the same mailbox on my computer).
    I ended up having to back up my entire mail folder (in the User/Library), and deleted the offending account. I had to drag back the folder of the account that got deleted, as the "original" account needed all that message info and content, and now everything is fine.

    I have the problems for messsages release in inbox sbwp. I used the workflow FIPP single level release amount for parked document. When I parked the document in FV60, I got one messages release amount in inbox sbwp. It is correct. But When I have completed this document in FBV0, The inbox will appear duplicate messages for release amount (4 or 5 messages) for same document number. Do you ever have the same problems? How can I solve this problems? Please kindly need your advise.

    Thanks for all reply. This is issue is not about invoice duplicate, I have check the invoice duplicate. In Tcode SWEL, I check there is appears several event release for one document. When I have investigate the details of the transaction. If I didn't select the cost center, the workflow is fine and only one messages for release one document. But in another case, It is not cause by all cost center. If I selected several cost center, it can be wrong and inbow will show several messages in SBWP. This is not affected in all cost center. In workflow, is there any step to determine cost center? How could Workflow define for cost center? Kindly need your help to solve this issue.

  • Receiving Duplicate Workitems

    When I set the status of a Notification to 'Complete', I receive duplicate work items in my SAP Inbox. I checked the linkages in SWE2 only one Event 'ALLTASKCOMPLETED' is assigned, but when I run trace it is showing that the event and the respecting business object BUS7051 is triggering twice. This is the reason I receive two similar work items. How to prevent this?

    Can anyone make out why the below mentioned event(s) triggering twice? I suspect this is the reason I am receiving duplicate work items in SAP Inbox.

  • PO Release WF not sending workitem to inbox

    Hi All,
    We are working on activating the PO release WF 'WS 20000075'. We activated it thru OOCU and it is triggering when we save the PO (i checked in SWEL) but we do not see any workitems in SBWP (inbox). I 'Agent Assignment' is in GREEN and is a 'General Task' in the task.
    This is the config we did in SPRO:
    SPRO -> MM -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Release Procedure for Purchase Orders -> Define Release Procedure for Purchase Orders > Workflow -> Here we assigned OT as US and respective User ID's for Release Codes.
    When i double-click on the entries in SWEL:
    - The 'Receiver Data' section is BLANK and in the 'Trace Data' section, action says 'No receiver entered'.
    I think the WF is not able to read the AGENT. Not sure. Can anyone please help me with this/

    Why do I receive a duplicate message in my Style inbox when replying? This only happens when I reply from my PC not the handheld. It only happens when replying - not forwarding. I have checked all the settings on Outlook and I don't see anything that would create this problem or solve it. My IT persons says it's a BB problem and my carrier says it's an Outlook problem

  • Sent mails duplicate copies in Inbox

    I have setup a POP gmail on Mail 4.1. It seems that every mail sent from my Mail app, it will forward a copy to my inbox right away. (It's already unchecked on the Composing tab, that says "Automatically cc: myself")
    Is there any way to stop this? Thanks in advance!

    it looks like that option was not cleared in the mail preference file.
    try checking that option. close mail preferences. then open mail preferences and uncheck that option. see if that helps.
    Hi VK, appreciate your information, but it's still sending the mail back to my inbox again. I wonder if I might have messed up with some applescripts earlier that I have used to delete duplicates messages in mail. Is there any way to undo applescripts? (in case it's the script that triggers my problem.)

    Is anyone else who uses AOL mail getting duplicate emails in their inbox on your iPhone? If you delete one of them, the message is gone from your inbox on AOL.

    So, it seems there is something rippling through the AOL service causing our email retrieval to hiccup.

    I have implemented legal contract workflow, based change ststus(RA ) workflow should be triggered. for that i have given a condition.my workflow is 2 level approval workflow. 1st level approved then status to be changed to a1,if he rejected status changed to q1. it is working fine. but when ever approver1 rejects , status got changed to q1 , again approver1 receiving another workitem for approve.
    could you please suggest me, how to stop again that one.
    my BO is draw based on Condition documnet type(vcd) and documnet status(RA)then only my workflow triggers and went approvers inbox,here i have used Rule with responsibilities.based on the circle i am getting the approver1.

    Once rejected container showing  user WF-Batch again triggerring workflow.
    How to stop this.
    After rejection happens status got changed.(for that i have used method setstatus) , if i check approver inbox again another workitem with changed status.
    as per the requirement if approver1 rejects status to be changed to q1 and  send mail to workflow initiator workflow ends.
    this is happening, but after rejecting approver1 again receiving another workitem for approve.(i.e US WF-batch generating)
    in approver1 inbox.
    please help me how to resolve this?
