Duplicated Pictures after Sync

I made new albums and synced them to my iphone4. Worked great except that in addition to my photo albums where my pics are now organized, I have an album called "Photo Library" that has all the same pics in it... so all the photos are in there twice using too much space. How do I get rid of the library or keep it from duplicating photos?

Where do I find pictures after sync

I just synced my pictures from the computer to the phone using the blackberry download software and when I opened my pictures on the phone nothing was there. Where do I find the pictures on the phone after sync?

Check your File Manager application and look at the Device memory > Photos, or Camera folder.
If you have a media card, check its folders as well.
Sometimes, in order for the "Pictures" application to see newly synced images, a reboot of the device may be requuired.
Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

How do i get rid of duplicated bookmarks after sync

after reset sync, i ow have duplicated bookmarks on my pc and i keep getting error messages that it can't sync to my iPhone.
How do i get rid of duplicates on my PC?
No articles on this subject help or have answers that helped!!!!

I had to go through and delete duplicated bookmarks. After syncing up computers, turn only one on, one with duplicates. Organize, remove, relabel the bookmarks. Open tools(XP) or Firefox upper left(win7) options,Sync,manage account, reset sync,replace all other devices with this computer's data.
Seemed to work for me.
Sync instructions could be a lot clearer about this.
I am not clear how syncing works when 2 computers are on all the time.

LOST Media pictures after Sync! HELP!

I ran Sync from my Palm Treo 700p to my Windows XP PC Palm Desktop. I had previous media on my Desktop, which has never been overwritten during previous sync actions.
Today my last Desktop media pictures disappeared after a sync (those picture has already been deleted from my Palm in order to make room for more pictures.)
How do I retrieve my previous pictures from either my desktop or Palm?!

Duplicated pictures when sync camera roll from iPhone to iTunes

Dear all,
2 issues:
1. When I sync my iPhone to iTunes and iPhoto opens (if there are pictures on the camera roll not yet imported), the non-imported pictures appear to be duplicated.
It is obviously quite annoying as I have to go through and delete the second image manually. Does anyone know how to sort this? I don't have HDR switched on. I have tried un-clicking sync iPhone over wifi, syncing and then clicking it back on again and syncing. Both these issues only started when I upgraded to my iPhone 6.
2. My iPhone refuses to sync over wifi. Occasionally the icon of the iPhone appears in iTunes, but that is very sporadic when it choses to and not. When it appears to be in iTunes I click sync and it says an error message of sync not possible and then the iPhone disappears from iTunes and I have to plug it in with cable.
I have spent in excess of 12 hours discussing this with various Senior technical support teams members at Apple who display enthusiasm about trying to help me until the point in which they go home for the day and then thy do not bother keeping to their ringback appointment so it all has to start again from scratch with a different person.
Suggestions made: Replace handset: Done. Try connecting your computer to router via cable: Hilarious, but done. Restore iPhone: Done. Technical data sent to apple: Done, but never got called back at agreed appointment to discuss results.
So I am throwing this issue out to the community.

HT1386 Lost pictures after sync

I just upgraded my iphone to version 5.1.1 through itunes. After that was complete I synched my iphone, when it was finished restoring all my data, my pictures are all gone on my phone and are not in my photo's on my computer. How can I find/restore them??

When syncing the regular JPEG photos from PC (Windows XP) iPad 2 results the message that it can not sync some of them because of the wrong format while those ones that have been sinced anyway are frequenlty distorted or just damaged (strips, dark big pixels..) Is there any way to fix it?

They should be either in the Videos or Photos app; if not you could try spotlight searching for them.

Duplicating picture in iPhoto 08 annoyance

Everytime I duplicate a picture WHILE IN EVENTS VIEW in iPhoto 08, I get sent back to the overview screen (showing all events). That means I have to double click on the event I was in and scroll back to the picture and its duplicate. This is rather annoying as I have over 600 pictures in one particular event that I want to edit.
I know I can edit the picture and revert to the original afterwards, but I need different versions for comparison (like in Aperture).
This does not happen when I am in the PHOTOS VIEW. If I sort my photos by date, I get sent straight back to the duplicated picture after importing.
For now I'll just keep working in Photos View.
This seems to me like a bug in the Events view
Any suggestions?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Duplicated pictures in iPhoto after syncing

Hello all,
Problem: After syncing a folder of photos from my iMac to iPhone I end up with x2 folders on my iPhone. One is the album I am syncing and the other is named Photo Library. These folders are duplicates of each other and as a result iPhoto shows duplicates of every photo under the Photo section of the app.
This doesn't happen on my iPad and I can't delete any of them from my iPhone.
Is this a design flaw or am I doing something wrong?

I have the same problem x 2 with 2 folders with the same pictures.
I went to Apple store and they said to connect to Itunes and then I could delete unwanted folders but I cannot.
I cannot connect to Itunes and delete these unwanted photo albums.
I see posts here with people saying the photo libraries only point to the pictures already stored on my computer backup but why do they stay on my IPhone 5 when I detatch the phone from my computer (not Mac).
I believe it is chewing up phone memory (16G) so I do not have enough for my podcasts and music.. Or is it that I have to buy another Iphone?????

Why do some of my contacts profile pictures appear as a blue square after syncing with facebook?

After syncing facebook friends with contacts, some of the profile pictures in contacts are replaced with a blue square.
Any ideas?

Greetings. Allow me to expand, please. I downloaded pictures from internet, as a collection with different themes directly from Internet. I only downloaded jpeg files or images. I organized my themes by folders on my desktop, then I copied some of them in a small 250gb external hard drive… But that´s just incidental. Whenever i had a folder of images that I wanted to play as a presentation, I just dragged the folder to the Iphoto main page and Iphoto just copies them and makes a file under the same name as the original folder. Of course I also have images of my own production, which are my main concern. But threee or four times, Iphoto said that I had inconsistencies in my pictures and I just had to agree to fix them. This operation could take up to a couple of hours por more...
But since I installed Yosemite, this glitch or question of inconsistencies, has not happened again, but somtimes, as I scroll through the folders in Iphoto, to edit some of the images or delete them, some of them become just a dotline square… I cannot see the image anymore, and when I do a presentation of the folders, these blaced out images appear in the show, as a black square or screen. I hope this information helps to answer your questions… Thank you for helping me.

Iphone 3G makes duplicate contact entries after syncing. I went from about 125 contacts to 1,965. Some contacts are duplicated 30 times! I tried deleting the info and resyncing it. Same problem. Not using mobile me. Syncing with google account.

My contacts are synced through my google account. I tried syncing through outlook and there were 0 contacts on my phone. Its a 3G so some of the functions like making groups are not available. and i guess i should mention i bought it at best buy and they ported my phone #'s from my google phone and when i got home i sync'ed it with itunes and it doubled my contacts.

After syncing, Itunes lost pictures from folders in my iphone 4s.

The name of the folders are still in the Iphone, but empty.
On the PC, the original folders are ok as before, but empty in the iphone after syncing.

Lorsque vous chargez IOS5, il efface tout sur votre téléphone.Vous avez pour resynchroniser dans iTunes pour recharger lesphotos de votre ordinateur.
(When you load IOS5, it erases everything on your phone. You have to resync in iTunes to reload the photos from your computer.)

Recorded Videos after Sync: The requested URL was not found on this server.

A few days ago, i recorded a couple of videos. They were saved properly and i could watch them after it in the Camera Roll of my iPhone. Because my memory was almost full, i connected my iPhone to my MacBook and synchronized about 900 old pictures with iPhoto and selected to delete the pictures after the sync. I did not select the recently recorded videos.
After the sync, i opened the Camera Roll on my iPhone and tried to watch the videos again. But now, they all have a grey icon and it says the duration is 0:00 minutes. When i click on a video, it shows me the following error message:
The requested URL was not found on this server.
When i connect my iPhone to iTunes, it says that there is about 350 MB of "Documents and Data" on my phone that I have no idea where it is coming from. Do you think it is possible that the videos are still saved on my phone but my phone doesn't recognize it as videos and can't assign it to the icons in the Camera Roll? Do you have any tips how I can access the videos in case they are still saved somewhere on my iPhone?

I have the same problem too!! I was deleting some photos and videos in my phone when the next picture I swiped to was a blank picture with JPG in the middle~ after I closed camera roll and reopened it my photos and videos after that picture are all gone~ and I'm left with 3 videos I took about 30 mins before with 0:00 and when I tried to play them the message popped up saying "requested URL cannot be found on this server" T^T does anyone have a solution to this problem?
