During boot, the system says that the main system board maker cannot be identified

System: HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook, Windows 7 Home Premium
Problem: During boot, the system says that the main system board manufacturer cannot be identified.  If I ignore and tell it to continue, it wants to CHDSK.  If I skip that, the computer finishes booting and seems to operate normally.
How can I fix this?

Hi Gordoo3,
Can you expand on the hardware you are using (Chassis, Controller, Devices, etc.)?  Do you have a MXI connection to your PC?  Have you identified the chassis in MAX?  Here is a Knowledgebase article that describes this process.
