During Import, scene breaks are not starting new clip.
Imovie HD: When importing from my camcorder (Mini DV) scene breaks are not starting new clips. The video is going into one clip which I then have to manually split each scene into individual clips before editing.
My preferences are set to: Import/Start a new clip at each scene break=ON..
The last time I used Imovie4, this same thing occurred. Prior to that, in Imovie4, it worked as advertised.
Could it be my camera settings?? Panasonic PV-DV910
Problem solved.
I normally do not have the date and time displayed in the camera's viewfinder. So, I didn't realize that the date/time had been reset to 1998 and not active. After setting to date/time to the present, NEW recording - when imported - was being split into individual clips at the scene breaks.
However the previously recorded video would not.
My punishment for my lapse is to manually do the "split". But I am a much wiser videographer.

When importing files, folders are not updated?
Could anyone please help?
Since I reinstalled Lightroom on a new harddrive (after a crash) whenever I import photos into my library, they appear in "Previous Import", but they are not visible in the destination folder. Even if I, in the import screen, make a new folder, this folder does not appear in the library, folders column untill I manually synchronize the parent folder.
Could anyone give me advice as to how to correct this problem?

Yes I have.(But it should anyway show folders. It doesn't scan automatically all folders and subfolders. So I should see something).
When did this problem start? Directly after you upgraded to Mavericks or before?
It started few days ago. I did not update anything or I did not install anything new software etc.
What is the file system on your drive "Kovalevy"?
It should be HFS or HFS Plus? I use these disks only with this Mac.
Is it formatted for Mac? MacOS Extended (Journaled)? Is the drive directly connected? And the what are the permissions on this drive? Have you tried to set the "Ignore Ownership on this volume" option? You can set it in the "File > Get Info" panel for the drive in the Finder: This panel will also show you the file system in the "General" brick.

I don't have any problems with Finder, Final Cut etc. I can open projects, copy files etc.

In the documents screen - sorry, new to this so not sure if that's the right terminology... Basically the screen showing all documents, if you drag down, there should be two options at the of of the page: Date and Name. Select Name and your list should now be in alphabetic order.

FCP not making new clip on timecode break
I want FCP to make a new clip every time I start/stop recording...
I have "make new clip" set on timecode break in the User Prefs...
Why is it not making new clips?Becuase it doesn't do things like iMovie... and there shouldn't be a TC break everytime you pause the camera. If there is one though, FCP will create a new clip there if the preference for this is set in the user prefs.
BUT there is a way to get the long captures broken down into subclips and they act much the same as clips in iMovie.
Capture a tape. Select the clip in the Browser, and then from the Mark menu, select "DV Start/Stop Detect. FCP finds all camera cuts and puts a marker there. You can rename them anything you want, select a marker and drag it to a bin, and it creates a subclip containing only the material from that marker to the next. This only works with DV=25 formats... miniDV, DVCAM, DVCPRO...

When am uploading the XML files manually its working fine in /TDAG/CPM00.
The same when we are uploading the XML files thru basis program IPC (XML) Documents into SAP , its not working .In XMl file it showing its complaint the same time compliance workbench complaint statues it showing empty .

The iMessages are "pushed" to the devices which means there can be small delays between the server recognising the device went Off Line and coming back.

From the logs, looks like the Java is not able to connect to the ABAP via the RFC.
ERROR no conversation found with id 14387978
Check the SAPJSF user which is required for communication between ABAP and Java stacks. Check for roles and if it is locked. Also you could try a server restart, which may reset the conversation IDs.

Imported Flash files are not playing in published output
Adobe Presenter 7 with the latest updates and PowerPoint 2007
When I insert a Captivate 3 generated Flash file into a Presenter slide, the flash file does not play in the Published output. The slide's image is displayed for 5 seconds and then stops.
After further review, I found that my imported Flash files are not included in the output. Any ideas?

It's been awhile since I've messed around w/ Captivate 3, but I have a quick question: does your Captivate content include a skin.swf file? If so, then you may have to look at a couple of different solutions to fix the playback problem that you're seeing with Presenter.
One fix includes eliminating the skin by turning the borders option off which will eliminate the "_skin.swf" file. That'll be one less file to deal with, but you need to do that BEFORE publishing in Captivate. From there, you should end up with one swf file from your Captivate content; and then at that point you can include that swf in your Presenter content.
And while we're at it....are you using any Full Motion Recordings at all? I've seen instances where, as you reported, Captivate content will run for awhile, but then the screen "goes blank"...so I'm just curious to know if your Captivate content in actuality has many more files than the "base" swf---which is probably the swf you included in PowerPoint.
Having said that, can you share more information about what your Captivate project looks like (in terms of the number of swf files you're working with, etc), and let's see if we can resolve this for you.

The new additions to the Collection appear and are accessible in both the iPad and iPhone applications, but even though they additions appear in "Quick View", the material doesn't appear in the Collection itself. When restarting server after a crash, Messaging bridges are not starting

We have Messaging bridge configured with Exactly-Once QOS to read messages from IBM Websphere MQ to Weblogic distributed Queue. We are using Weblogic 10gR3.
1. We killed the weblogic server which was reading message from source destination(IBM MQ). We did this to check whether any message is lost when a server crashes.
2. Then we restarted the weblogic application server and checked the weblogic messaging bridge status.
3. The messaging bridge was not started properly and the following Exception was thrown.

*The server was started in warning mode and the JTA was declared unhealthy. I saw 2 transaction alive for more than 2000 seconds which is uncommon.
*The resource adaptor was started properly.

Omit notes during MIDI recording that are not in defined scale
I'm looking for a way to do the following in Logic, but am not sure how to set this up. I want to be able to:
1. Create a new midi track
2. In selected midi track, select a scale (for example, Pentatonic Minor)
3. Press record
4. During recording, only notes played from Pentatonic Minor scale would "register" (make a sound) and be recorded. All other notes pressed on midi controller that are not in Pentatonic Minor would not "register" nor be recorded in the sequencer.
Additionally helpful would be that in the piano roll sequencer after recording, I could only drag notes up or down along the Pentatonic Minor scale. In other words, I would not be allowed to drag a recorded note to another note that is not in Pentatonic Minor. If a note was dragged onto a "disabled" note, it would automatically snap to its nearest neighbor note in the Pentatonic Minor scale. Additionally useful would be to have all disabled notes (notes that are not in the Pentatonic Minor scale) appear to be disabled (grayed out) in the piano roll sequencer.
If this is not possible, is there any feature in Logic that will get me close to doing what I want? If not, is there any other sequencer that does this? I know this is something I could probably do in Max, but I was hoping to be able to do it in Logic. Thanks.Patch this between the PhysicalIn and the SequencerIn in the Environment:
