Report title on the PDF file generated by Braodcaster tool

Hello All - We are using "Broadcast by Email(Bursting)" feature to burst reports by Customer. Customer is the Characteristic value by which we are bursting. Also Email address is attribute of Customer so we are sending the reports to their email addresses. The data is broken by each customer and the report content is fine. The problem I am having is Heading of the report. I want to have the heading by customer ie have customer name. I have this maintained as master data of Customer. Any idea how I can find the heading dynamically without having to have broadcast settings for each customer and hardcoded Heading.

I have managed a similar issue putting text variables with replacement path in the query title.
Your texts variables are populated dynamically depending on the variables values typed.
for instance I had to give the week interval in the title based on the range the users key.
the drawback that is not a real one is that your query title come with the name of the query and the variable technical name something like : myquery &variablename&
here for you case you could create a text variable with replacement path on customer at the query properties level.
this should work.

How to skip first step in a FPM roadmap?

Hello, Our client wants the first step disabled/not displayed in a standard roadmap that has been delivered with the software. The standard roadmap uses component FPM_GAF_COMPONENT and consists of 4 steps (and is based on an application config and component config). They want to directly display the second step with certain values in the second screen pre-populated from a custom application (the second screen would in normaly flow be populated from first screen). So I have two tasks:
1) disable first screen/step
2) populate second screen/step with data from custom application
This is my first exposure to FPM and roadmaps. I tried deleting the first step from the component configuration and making the current 3 step process into a 3 step process, but this does not work and did not seem to be the way to go. On looking around I see some documentation for methods HIDE_MAINSTEP to be used thru IF_FPM_GAF interface, but am not sure where to implement this interface or what code to use in the method.
Can anyone provide step by step suggestions and examples of codes please?

I was able to get to the HIDE_MAINSTEP method. However, when I try to hide step 1, which is my requirement, there is a short dump. If I hide step 2 or 3 out of the 4 step process, the sequence of screens is showing up appropriately. However, when I hide step 1, there seems to be some problem in mehod WDDOMODIFYVIEW of view CNR_VIEW of component FPM_GAF_COMPONENT where in a loop for the first loop pass, even though step 1 is hidden, the code is trying to access the road_map_step element which is not instantiated. We have opened a note for this issue.

I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.

Consider adding a 2nd sharpening step which acts upon the results of the first step. For artsy reasons, you might want normal sharpening, then enhance edges as a second step. For lower quality images, two sharpenings can be an effective form of noise reduction. For whatever reason I often run two sharpening steps in a row in CS5, where the second step would look bad without the first.

What type of image content are you using that the current set of tools isn't satisfactory? (ie: are you talking about camera RAW files or film scans that were shot out of focus? More details would help.)
Actually both. Other uses I've had for a second sharpening step is to target, and enhance edges on lower quality scanned images. However I have less of a problem fixing these images in Photoshop because: they are usually one-of-a-kind, and they have no raw data to work with. I just make sure the scan is as accurate as possible and that becomes the starting point.
The brush sharpen is handy but not for the above purpose requiring a different radius. And of course copy/pasting brush strokes does not work on action photos.

The recommendation is always to make another ID for use with a paid books account. And while I can't swear this is at the root of your issue, you should in any case reach out to Apple for assistance on this one, I think.

Using diskpart as the very first step in TS

I want to have a very first in TS as hard drive clean and partitioning it. so once WinPE is downloaded, system reboots, it will check 'IsLaptop' or 'IsDesktop' condition and if its Laptop, it should clean the disk 0 and parition it. I have tried to achieve
this but i am getting an error. Its a MDT based TS in Configuration manager 2012 R2 (MDT 2013 is integrated). Laptops are encrypted and just need to be wiped and reload without databackup. I feel this is the easiest way to have dispart clean the disk, recreate
partition based on condition if its laptop.
Steps i am doing is :
1. diskpart. exe /s diskpart.txt - first step in TS, and has condition to run only if 'IsLaptop equals True'. I have created package for diskpart.txt ( i am wondering if this could be an issue, if it tries to download the package on hdd and hdd doesn't have
partition yet)
2. set imageosver to 6.1 - since its for windows 7
3. Format and partition disk 6.1 - will format and create 2 partitions 'OS disk' and 'BDE'
then other steps starts like Use toolkit package, gather and UDI wizard.

You could have the Format/Partition steps run only if the Chassis/Model type = that of a laptop or one of your laptop models. If those parameters aren't met (e.g. PC is not one of the desktop models or doesn't have a the laptop ChassisTypes), the partition/format
steps wont' run.
I've ran into issues when trying to run commandline steps that require files to copy down first. I have the best luck when the drive(s) are properly cleaned, repartitioned, and formatted first.

LM07. just the TO pending on first step of picking

My transfer orders have got two steps: first step is the picking that normally is done in the morning. The second step is the transfer step and it is done in the afternoon.
So I am using the transaction LM07 (Picking System Guided ) and I only want to see the TO pending on the first step. One time the first step is done I want to see the following TO.
The second step will be done with LM02: confirmation via storage unit
Can I do it without any development?
I would like to skip the order already picked and go to the next without the transfer step.

Validation during create -- resetting the whole page

I have a report with the form. On the form I have some validations. Two of them are url and date field
validations.
I am trying to create a new record. I entered all the fields including URL field
I got the URL validation error displayed on the error page.
When I click OK, system is clearing out all the entered data.
I want the system to retain all the data. What is that I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the reply. I can't display the error message in line, because mine is "Report with Form".
If I create a validation to display in line, then during submittal of the create mode of the form, create button is disapearing and getting changed to "Apply changes" and when I click on "Apply changes", then I get
"no data found.." error.
I found in the user guide the following:
To create a hard error that stops processing of any remaining validations, you
must display the error on an error page.
That is the reason why I have used error page.
Can you be more clear on: Also try setting the Source Used for these items to 'Only...'.
