Dv6-1040ed: Broken connector dvb-t receiver

When using my laptop to watch tv my 6 year old sun tripped over the antennacable. Now both the connector in the computer and on the antenna are broken. Since there is no warranty left on my computer I would like to repair these.
I will have to replace the cable in the computer as well as the antenna(connector). Fixing them with new connectors is no option without the proper tools. I tried.
Does HP supply these parts or do I have to look for them elsewhere?
The internal cable is a 10" ipex to mcx straight male cable and the antennaconnector is an mcx straight female (both probably especially manufactured for this laptop).
I live in the Netherlands.
Does anyone know where and how I can buy HP spareparts?
Rob

@RobRommens,
The Part No. for your notebook is NG748EA.  If you go to HP PartSurfer, choose your Country and then enter the Part No. you should get a list of all parts available to purchase.

I just upgraded to Yosemite. Iphoto is now broken.  Upon upgrade receiving error "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."

Perform the following, stopping with the first one which works:
    1. Open the Mac App Store's Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept iPhoto into your Apple ID, do so.
    2. Move it out of the Applications folder(it may need to be put into the Trash temporarily), and then see if you can download it for free from its individual product page.
    3. Click here and contact Apple.

  • IPhone 3g, broken connector, never synced with iTunes- Can I retrieve pictures over wifi? How?

One of my users broke his iPhone 3g (Yes, it's THAT old!). All of his mission-critical data was synced to Exchange, but how do I retrieve the pictures off of it? Can I use wifi? the connector is broken, and his battery is at 6%. No data service. The Home button doesn't work either. It seems like there should be a way if I use the wireless to transfer over a LAN, but options are limited. I don't have comparable hardware to make swaps with. I opened the phone up to see if there was a visible problem (Something broken or bent) that might be able to fix for recovery, but nothing. Let me know. Thanks!

If you have wi-fi then email the pictures.

  • Hp dv6 1334ca Battery Connector

Just wanted to know if someone is aware of the connector slot design voltages, I have tried to measure them one by one but I am getting a random reading.
Plus in the battery side, there are eight slots for eight connectors on the laptop. Does anyone know which slot is for charging, discharing, bypass and ground?

  • Broken connector pin on my ipod

    Hi everyone,
i was trying to charge my ipod (4th generation, 64GB) yesterday but it didn't work. I've noticed that one pin is folded/broken on the bottom: the charger doesn't fit.
I bought the ipod on amazon from Apple...
Is it going to be expensive if i want to fix it? Should i just buy a new one?
And also...can i give it to an apple store and get a refurbished one for a "cheap" price even if i don't have a warranty?
    Thank you,
    Ludovica

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

  • Changing the FQDN for receive connectors on Edge servers

    Hi everyone,
I need to make a change to the default receive connector on our edge servers. Currently they have mx1.internaldomain.intra and mx2.internaldomain.intra, I need to change this to mx1.publicdomain.com and mx2.publicdomain.com. This is primarily in order to
get TLS to work, checktls.com shows that it cannot resolve the current names, for obvious reasons.
These receive connectors are for receiving inbound mail from the internet only.
The question I wanted to ask was - if I make this change, will I have to redo the edge subscription for these servers?
Some people here seem to think edgesync will be broken if this is changed, I personally think it'll be fine. As we don't have a test environment I can't check on that, and also our DR site was configured correctly (as I configured this myself ;) )
Does anyone have any concrete information regarding this? I have tried so many searches but they haven't produced anything definitive.
    Thanks in advance
    Andoni

I changed this and TLS starts OK now. checktls.com produces the expected results (OK). There is no need to redo the edgesync as that's only used to pass credentials between edge and CAS/HT servers.

  • Send and receive connector

Hi Everyone, I have 2 send connectors and 4 receive connectors configured on exchange server 2007.How do i know which send or receive connector i am using for my exchange 2007.I am doing the transition to exchange server 2013. If i  create a new send
and receive connector in exchange 2013 without looking back to exchange 2007 will i face any issue.Do guide me how to create it in exchange 2013.

    Hi Risingflight,
According to your description, I found that we want to create send and receive connectors for the new Exchange 2013 server with the same settings as the old Exchange 2007 server.
I suggest collecting the settings on EMC from Exchange 2007 server, and doing the same settings on Exchange 2013 server.
    Thanks

  • I cannot sync my phone because my device is locked and the screen is broken. how can i get around this?

My screen on my iPhone 5s 16g has broken and i just received a new one in the mail. i want to sync my old phone to iTunes so i can restore my new one, but cannot sync do to the fact that my screen is broken and i am unable to unlock the phone… how can i get around this?

You don't. If you use a 3rd party to "fix it" or attempt to do it yourself, Apple will reject the return and charge you the full price of the phone as if you had not returned it at all.
It's too late. You should have been backing up before it failed.

  • DVB-C recorded DVDs to Final Cut Pro to DVD Studio Pro and Flash - how?

As a TV journalist I am recording my works with my DVB-C Receiver and a DVD-Harddisc-Recorder from LG. The movies are stored on the harddisc and I burn them to DVDs in order to work with the files on my computer. What progrograms do I have to use in order to get file out of the DVD-vobs, that Final Cut Pro can read an work with. DVB-C is MPEG-encoded, right? But I don’t want to loose quality and don’t want to encode the material several times? In Final Cut I want to get rid of commerials and cut severel movies together that were broadcasted on several days. After that I want to get two differt files: 1. A flash movie form my website and 2. A file form my archive. With those files I want to complile DVDs with DVD Studio Pro for my customers later. Can anyone please give me a good and professional workflow to solve this common problem? Thanks a lot.

  • Cannot view SharePoint Online documents through CRM Online Outlook Connector - iframe error

We are integrating CRM 2013 Online with SharePoint 2013 Online. We have installed the CRM List Component solution. We have also modified the SharePoint master page to permit display of SharePoint content in iframes. We can view SharePoint documents within
CRM using Internet Explorer after setting the Documents link for an opportunity to point to a document set in SharePoint. However we cannot view documents through the CRM Outlook Connector. We receive the error that "This content cannot be displayed in
    a frame".
We have tried adding *.sharepoint.com, *.dynamics.com, and *.microsoftonline.com to IE's Trusted Zone with no effect.
The application launched by the Outlook Connector is called Microsoft.Crm.Application.Outlook.WebFormsHost and it's my understanding that it uses the IE engine to render online content.
Is there anyway to view SharePoint content embdedded in CRM via an iframe with the Outlook Connector?

I have the same problem here.
The integration works fine outside of Outlook, but if, for example, an account is opened within CRM for Outlook the error occurs.
    - No masterpage modification
    - Some security setting in IE 11 (perhaps IE 11 is the problem)
    - Installed the solution in the used site collection
    - Configured CRM settings

  • INDesgin image links broken after saving file across systems

    Hi
We have a scenario involving 3 components:
    1. Linux file server running both SMB and AFP (sharing the same directory thru both protocols)
    2. MacOS 10.5 (Leopard) with INDesign CS3 connecting to the Linux server thru AFP
    3. Windows 2003 server running INDesign CS3 connecting to the Linux server thru SMB (or NFS)
    The scenario:
    1. We create an INDD document and link an image to the AFP share (on the linux)
    2. On the windows 2003 server we open the same document from the SMB share (on the linux) - no error/broken links message is received.
    3. We save the document with a irrelevant to images change, (eg. Adding a text block) to the SMB share
    Here is the problem:
    4. We open the document on the MacOS and receive "Broken links" message atlhough when you look at the path of the image you see the correct AFP path (needless to mention the path is mounted on the MacOS properly and the images are fully accessible)
What can we do, so we will not receive a broken links popup on step #4 of the scenario?
    Thanks

No answers, but a few questions:
Just to be clear, by "broken" you mean missing, not in need of updating, right?
What version of netatalk are you using on the Linux box? Does it implement AFP 3?
What version of InDesign CS3 are you using? Is it fully patched to the last public version (5.0.4.682) or newer?
Are there any potentially problematic characters (e.g., slashes, backslashes, unicode characters, etc.) in the file names or the directories in the full paths?
If you make note of the full path on the Mac when the document is first created, and then compare it very carefully with the same path when you re-open it and get the broken links messages, can you detect any differences? It might also be interesting to place one of the same "missing" images in the document again once you've re-opened it on the Mac, and compare the two paths...

  • Exchange 2010 with Forefront, can't receive large attachments from outside ONLY.

I am able to send and receive large files internally now. Also I am able to send large files to the outside. But I can't receive anything larger then defaulted 10mb. My Environment is 2 Edge boxes, 2 cas HT boxes, 2 mx DB boxes.
I was asked to increase the size of the emails my organization can receive, I went ahead and adjusted the following:

  • Connecting a satellite / digital TV receiver?

    Hi
I'm hoping for some simple advise please...
At the moment I view digital TV on my iMac G5 via a small USB DVB-T receiver.
This is fine when I can get a signal, but due to my location it often fails.
To fix this problem I would like to switch to the new 'Freesat' HD satellite service.
    - Will this be compatible with my monitor?
    - If so, what cables / adaptors will I need to connect my iMac to the new HD digital box (they all seem to have an HDMI socket in the back)?
Sorry if this is very basic stuff, but I'm not very tech-minded!
    Any help will be appreciated.

The problem is that s-video cable doesnt transmit the audio signal but only video.
If you want to get the sound on TV you will have to use an additional RCA cable.

  • Stop Outlook from Automated Send/Receive

Is there any way within the Oracle Beehive Connector so that receiving of email is not done automatically? I could make it offline but I would prefer not to do that.

    Hello,
From the Oracle Beehive extension for Outlook (OBEO) nope you can't. Actually such a setting is not managed within OBEO, but rather by Outlook itself.
You can change the Outllok setting.
Go to Tools - Options - Mail Setup - Send/Receive
    Click on the Send/Receive button
Under "Setting for group "All Accounts"" uncheck the box " Schedule an automatic send/receive every XX minutes"
Doing that you should manually click on the Send/Receive button to get your emails.
    Hope that Help

NB: I am using Outlook 2007.
