You already have the motherboard for that series with the best video chip. There is no video "card" as you might be imagining. It is just a flat motherboard with chips soldered on including the video; no upgrade, sorry.
It maxes at 8 gigs of RAM and uses DDR2-800 aka PC2-6400 SO-DIMM memory or 2 x 4 gig chips.
On the hard drive you could install anything up to a 2TB SATA 9.5 mm thick 2.5 inch wide hard drive for max capacity size and if you want speed it would accept a 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive (SSD). Post back if you need buying help for any of this.

It is probably one of the last models produced with 10.4, so yes that is how it is supposed to come. You have the option of running Tiger 10.4.x or updating to Leopard.

iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

First of all, GarageBand iOS allows for only one tempo and there is no Merge Song feature.
What you can do.
Switch between the songs and copy-paste the individual Tracks. You can also Merge Tracks if you run into the 8 Track limitation.

You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

Is "Geography Name Referencing Program" part of upgrade process?

Hi all,
We have been upgraded to R12.1.3 and currently into first iteration.
When querying the old transaction from Transaction workbench window we get, ""The system cannot determine geographical information for this location and cannot derive a tax jurisdiction. Please contact your system Adminstrator" error.
I have run the "Geography Name Referencing Program" after getting this error. and that error got resolved.
Kindly Advice, "Geography Name Referencing Program", is it a part of upgrade process or we have to manually run the program.

I have seen the same document and ran the Geographu run referencing program. But my question here is, should we run this program immediately before releasing to Application team which is going to work on Applications
Have you reviewed the post concurrent programs which are kicked off as part of the upgrade process to verify if the concurrent program was completed successfully or not? The program will be submitted by the upgrade process (as mentioned in the doc that you have already reviewed) and if that's the case the point here is to verify if it completed successfully or not.
If the program ran successfully and you still hit the same issue then please review the docs in my previous reply. If the docs don't help then please log a SR.
If the program failed to run then you will need to run it manually.
If the program was never run by the upgrade then run it manually.

Shake cpu usage woes since upgrading to Compressor 3

We used to render from the command line (shake 4.1) without a problem. When we sent something to render, all 4 cpus would be used to the max (near 400%). (we include the "-cpu 4" command)
Since upgrading to Compressor 3, it only works some of the time with no clear reason. Now I get less than 100% on a processor.
Very frustrating.
Any ideas on what makes it actually work when it does? Any work arounds?
I'm open to using q-master, but we haven't been able to get it to work in any reliable manner.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Intel Core i5-580M is definitely compatible as it takes 35W (same as the original Core i3). I believe that even Core i7-720QM, 740QM, 820QM and 840QM are compatible but they require a different heat sink/fan (part number is 604787-001).
