DVCProHD to WHAT for Windows Post environment?

If one were editing DVCProHD and had to hand off the output to a Windows Post environment what wrapper would one use. I suspect many flavors of Avid support DVCProHD wrapped in mov but some other Windows NLEs may not.
If you attempt to export to AVI you'll discover it only supports DVCPro25 and DVCPro50 but not DVCProHD (DVCPro100).
I believe some Windows NLEs support MXF (Panasonic HVX200 uses an MXF wrapper and I suspect XDCAM HD will be MXF too - FCP5 can import from the HVX and from XDCAM with Flip4Mac MXF import component) but there's no way to save out to a DVCProHD file wrapped in MXF in FCP/QuickTimePro.
Any thoughts on this?

Craig, why are you using this workflow? Why import into FCP then export to a Windows machine? Why complicate matters? Try to keep things simple. Like Brian said, if you offline on FCP, Online on FCP. Or offline and online on Windows.
BUT....one thing you can try is to copy the raw MXF files off the card onto a hard drive, then use FCP to convert them to MOVs...and KEEP the original MXF files. This way, you can edit with the MOVs, and hand them the MXF files. The timecode information is the same. (as Brian suggested)
This is what I have done. We shot test footage with the P2 camera and at the time they only had a PC on hand to transfer the footage, so they just copied the files onto my hard drive. I then had to WAIT until FCP 5.0.4 came out before I was able to convert those to MOV files....but it worked.
The P2 cards will be supported on the Powerbooks PCMCIA slots WHEN the camera comes out. When the camera ships, Panasonic will provide a firmware update to make the PCMCIA slots compatible with these cards.

If you scroll down, you have an option to the archived downloads. Try to search suitable for windows XP.
Oracle has all the installation patches available in their site.
If they have something, it is seen that its put up on the website.

I am trying to put together a high availability solution and I want to know what the availability 'claim' of the individual components would be. What is the availability specification for Windows server 2012 and Windows Server 2012R2?(for example 99.9%

Any ideas for starting mssql in a windows live environment from a drive that has windows installed

This will probably be a strange question,
If you have a server that has mssql and you boot the server into a live windows environment ( loaded into memory on the server much like a live distro of linux.) is there any way to start mssql in that live environment? im guessing here, maybe
load the hive, copy some things to the live environment?
this can be done with linux and mysql and any other application/software installed in linux without issue. i was wondering if there was something similar that could be done in a windows live environment.

What is a live windows environment, in addition, we need to verify if you want to start SQL Server Service after installing SQL Server instance in your Windows Operation System.
Usually, if you start SQL Server service, you can use SQL Server Configuration Manager, SQL Server Management Studio, net commands from a command prompt, Transact-SQL, or PowerShell. There is an article about how to start , stop, pause, resume, or restart

Windows Updates for SharePoint 2013 Environment

I created a visual machine for SharePoint 2013 development by following steps mentioned below.
--Install Winows Server 2008 R2
--SQL Server 2008 R2
--SP2 for SQL Server 2008 R2
--SP1 for Winows Server 2008 R2
--Sharepoint 2013 Pre-Requisites
--Sharepoint 2013 Setup
--Sharepoint 2013 Designer
--Installed March and August 2013 Cumulative Updates for SharePoint 2013
--Installed SP1 for SharePoint 2013
I want to ask do i need to install Windows Updates after installing different updates as i mentioned above because everty now and then windows updates message keep pops up and i did'nt install windows updates yet.

Windows Updates cover security updates as well as stability improvements, and so on. You're simply patching SharePoint and SQL in the above case.
It should be noted that any SharePoint patches that come down through Windows Update need to be manually handled as you'll need to run the Config Wizard (e.g. MS14-022 and MS14-050 which are SharePoint updates).
When you're installing SharePoint 2013, you only need to install SP1 if that is your target. There is no requirement to install March 2013 or August 2013.

I think there is a bug with Windows Store Applications when it comes to using DisplayMemberPath="Value".

Illustrator is not working as it should...
I want them to compare the original size and date of creation with what I have installed on my computer... I have installed several times with my original CD and I tried once downloading the files from the adobe site (using my own license). I suspect the files has been modified or renamed on my laptop by an external unauthorized user causing the malfunction of the application.
Customer services does not support CS3 anymore and the updates / patches in the adobe site does not solve the problem... They redirect me to the forums for support...
Presently, my problem is that after creating a swatch and drag it to the swatch panel, it does not fill as it should a new form... Now, after deactivating and activating my license the swatch seems to fill the new form but when the filter that the swatch has is persistence in the next filling object created even though a different color is being used as a fill (X)... Help in the creation of a swatch over the internet just complicate the issue.
That's why I would like to know whether updates on my product are being received or files are being replaced without my knowledge...

I am try to config ip,subnet,gateway,preferred and secondary dns using netsh for windows server 2008,2012,
Before Netsh cmd support for all os including Win 8,win 8.1.
I need to config form client machine to server machine using netsh cmd lines,i will try in remote login also like i will give server name,username and password with netsh cmd.Below is sample cmd line,using process i will change ip config.
netsh -r Admin-pc -u admin-pc\administrator -p XXXXX interface ip set address name="Local Area Connection" Static 192.168.0.60 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1
when i run in windows server using cmd prompt it show error like "some commands line not found in specified file"

SWTBot tests inconsistent for Kepler in Windows Virtualized Environment

Hallo,
I am using SWTBot to test an Eclipse E4 RCP Application based on Eclipse 4.3 (Kepler).
My SWTBot tests are run as part of a Maven / Tycho Build.
When I launch the maven build on my development workstation the tests are working.
On the build server the maven build is trigged by TFS / MSBuild
Before the 6th of June, 2015 , the tests used to run both in my development environment and in the build environment.
Now, after 6th of June, the tests are not working anymore on the Build server (Vindows Virtualized Environment). There was no code change in the period, but now the tests are failing.
Currently the tests executed on the build server are always returning an error similar to this: "Could not find widget : .. "
As described above, the same tests are working on my local development environment; and the same tests used to work on the build server in previous months.
So,
(1) I am wondering if there was any change in the SWTBot code, that resulted in an incompatibility with Windows Virtual Environment.
(2) Is it possible to get the state of the update site before June 2015 ?

I love Windows on my MacBook, but I'm not a gamer (at all) and I know gaming is the ultimate road-test. Your post indicates you are likely competent enough to draw a thorough conclusion on your own, but I notice you have not considered malware, spyware, virus & anti-virus interference. I suppose this was likely taken care of by a fresh install, but maybe reinfection happened just as fast. One thing I have done is to open Device Manager and identify + update all possible stale drivers. Apple is not that aggressive at providing new ones.
Must be vexing to have this happen, but it is an interesting post, since people everywhere are wondering if Apple hardware really IS as good as PC....

Safari for windows what about Panther ?

Excellent question, i wondered this myself. I personally couldn't even download WebKit nightly build, we concluded, me & the one helpful poster to my question, Webkit ( Safari w/ bug fixes) is for os Tiger 10.4 Only!!
Which is now up to 10.4.10, hmm no 10.3.10 for Panther, or Jaguar, no webkit no S3, but ahh yes one for Windows, and the beat goes on.

Welcome!
You have several thing at play. The first, most likely to cause a crash, and easiest to fix is that you have Safari in the wrong place:
Path: /Users/Rich/Desktop/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari
You have the Safari Application on the Desktop but, to work correctly, it must be in the Applications folder :
Path: Macintosh Hard Drive > Applications.
Second, you have some third-party plug-ins or extensions that can cause trouble. Try deactivating DivX---it is known to prevent videos on Apple's web site from working. Also turn off the EverNote extension until you as sure everything is stable. Check for an Evernote update.
See how things go with Safari in the proper place and with extensions turned off. Then turn extensions back on one at a time and test for stability
The fact that you are running Flash 10.3 makes me think you have a newer iMac than covered in this forum. PPC Macs can run no higher than Flash 10.1, so you may be in a forum for models older than yours. Do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu and see what the processor description reads. If it includes the word "Intel," you should post future questions here:
