DVD question in - dont know where also to ask this.

Dont know where else online to ask this but there are some smart people on these forums so here it goes:
I just bought a Polaroid DVD player (i confess it was 40 dollars on Black Friday) and I watched a movie on it (a movie bought from the video store) and throughout the whole movie I heard a loud hisssssssssss sound. Now my TV is semi old, panasonic stereo TV and Ive always had to crank the volume when watching other DVDs. Im wondering should I return my cheapo DVD player or just figure out something else.

It was a movie, Galaxayquest, bought from a video store and lent to me by a friend. I tried sticking an episode of "24" in there and the hiss seemed to be less.

Hi everyone,
This question actually pertains to a copy of Logic Platinum 6 I own but I don't know where else to ask it, so here I am in the Logic 8 forum.
I haven't touched Logic in a year or maybe two, and I just installed it on my computer and after attempting to start it up with two different XS keys (I thought I lost one so I have a replacement and I forget which one is the active one) it says "no XS key found" to both of them.
I want to upgrade to Logic 8 but in the mean time I can't even get Logic 6 to recognize my XS key.
Please help me out if you have any information that would be beneficial or know where I could seek help!

When you plugin them in, are they recognised in System Profiler? Try differnt ports, connecting them directly and not on a hub. Try on a different computer if necessary.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.

the iphone is designed to be synced to your computer. You should have been syncing your contacts with Outlook, Address Book for example from day one.
Have you failed to do this?
