DVD SP 4.2.1 doesn't show information drawer on Simulator

Anybody else experiencing this?
Since I updated to 4.2.1/10.4.11, the Simulator doesn't show the Information Drawer at all, when pressing the proper button or keyboard shortcut. Of course, it's really needed to check GPRM/SPRM values....
Is is happening to anybody else?

Sorry, my mistake. But the Simulator Info button and shortcut works fine here with same versions (DVDSP 4.1.2 + OS 10.4.11):
You could try trashimg DVDSP preferences, or just restarting the system. I don't think QT version could be related with this behaviour, but just in case I have installed 7.2.0

DVD Stuck in slot drive, doesn't show on desktop or in Disk Utility

I downloaded the 10.5.3 combo update on my Power Mac and burned a disk image of the file to a DVD to update my iMac which suffers from the Airport problem and is unable to successfully download anything before connection drops.
I successfully updated the iMac to 10.5.3 but upon restart, the DVD is still in the slot, and doesn't show on the desktop nor in DU.
I tried the eject button, but nothing. I tried restarting and holding down the mouse button, but no luck.
How do I get the disk out?

Unfortunately I have tried these with no luck. The disk does not show up in disk utility, it's like it doesn't even exist, yet it remains there in the drive making it impossible to insert any disk.
I don't know what to do at this point... take it to the shop I guess!

The Pages doesn't show information when the application is deployed

Why when I deployed one simple web fussion application (jdevelopper 11.1.1.0.0) with only one page with only one View Object to another web logic server (10.3) in another pc.
The page show this:

HT4997 I want to burn a movie to a dvd with iMovie but idvd doesn't show up in the "share" menu--why? My SuperDrive indicates that my DVD+R can be written to. Please Help.

I just spent a week creating an iMovie and wanted to burn it to a DVD. The instruction tutorial said to go to the "Share" menu and select "iDVD", however there is no "iDVD" listed in that memu. I checked to see that my DVD+R was writeable in my SuperDrive--it is? Why doesn't "idvd" show in the "share" menu? Please help, thank you. Fustrated Mark.

I may have found a way around this issue. I have the old style mouse with a wired usb connection. I've learned from other discussions that by holding down the 'Control' key and pressing the mouse button on an Apple a menu similar to the right-click menu of a PC will appear. When I tried this from the 'Project Library' on iMovie on my iMAC, a menu appears that DOES contain the export to iDVD choice. This choice is still not visible from the 'Share' menu in the menubar. This appears to be some glitch in the Apple software, but my computer is currently formulating the iMovie into the iDVD format. I have my fingers crossed.

pioneer avh-3400bh, just got it installed, read reviews online about bluetooth music information no longer showing up after ios6 update....... any clue to when Apple will either fix this error or allow people to go back to older versions of operating systems?

FINALLY! a firmware update came out today for the 3400BH (among others) - I got an email from PIoneer and downloaded and installed the new firmware - now the radio works perfect! The only problem is, you can only install the firmware update via bluetooth PC, which is NOT as easy as the instrucions show - if you have a bluetooth dongle (like I do) there were several issues during the install - finally got it installed (not quite sure how exactly) but it works.

it seems that there is a bug in DVD Studio Pro 4.2.1 as I can not show information drawer in simulation window. I have the same problem on two machines so I doupt that this is computer problem. I already deleted DVD Studio preferences, but there is no difference. I am desperate There is another post from 2007 so I also doupt that this is OS X version problem. It must be DVD Studio Pro 4.2.1. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Thanks Studio X. There is no real working solution for me. It is sad, that Apple is ignoring this problem as it exists for a few years now. I am an Apple fan, using Final Cut from its start, I was really satisfied with their products, but lately I have a feeling that they have different priorities. From PRO level, they've definitely moved to CONSUMER level. Sell a lot of visual appealing stuff - that looks great, but works so so. God help you if you experience a problem that is limited to a too small group - nowadays it seems that PRO group is to small for Apple.
I am sorry Apple, but I am somehow disappointed.

Oracle Application Server Control Console doesn't show any servers

I'm configuring the Identity Manager, and in the process of doing so, I've to user tthe OASCC to do some operations.
I've discovered how to launch the OASCC and I can access it. The problem is that after configuring the ias_admin password the main menu doesn't show information.

I have the same problem and I checked my target.xml file - it was in place and it contained both target records - with port number 18200 - I tried to acces this address, but it gave 404 error - actaully - this is better than nothing - beacause it indicates that someone is listening to this port, but it has no default page to display. Well - documentation states that 18200 is Oracle Management Agent port but I have not yet figured out what to expect from it. In my installation I have observed:
1) I have running app server 10.3.1 on port 7777, but the weolcome page doesn't display the login portlet for logging in this server - so - I have not logged into it.
2) I have problems accessing app server 10.2.1 on port 15001, I guess it is down and I have tried to start it from start menu entries - without result. I guess - this is very important server - it contains the forms.
But weill - at present I cann't see anu connection between these two server and the entries in the target page on port 18100, I guess - that this page should display both server, but in the post was said only entry for on port... Maybe management agent is for boths app servers (and not separate agent for each server?)?

Get info pane doesn't show appropriate "more info" info

Hello. There's a problem on my "get info" pane, where normally there should be a "more info" column showing some information about "image size", "author", etc.
But recently, for example, an image file's "more info" column doesn't show its dimension and other info, only showing "title" and "last opened". And other things are simply gone.
Another example is MP3 files, normally there should be showing more metadata like "bitrate", "artist", "duration", etc. But now, it just shows the "title" and "last opened".
This really bugs me because I normally used to look at some info about these things sometimes when I need to check it out when doing some picture works. So basically the main problem is "more info" doesn't show information that I needed and which it should be there, but somehow there's a problem on Mac OS X that makes it failed to show them all out.
If anyone could tell me a way to fix it, I am very appreciated!! Thank you!!

Generally when the "More Info" section is nearly empty it is because the file in question has not been indexed by Spotlight. As to WHY it hasn't, that is a whole 'nother question, which you may be able to answer. Perhaps you have it stored somewhere that is excluded in the Spotlight Privacy pane, or on a drive where Spotlight is disabled, or in a folder where you don't have proper permissions... and so on.

Finder doesn't show image dimensions

I have a problem with image dimensions in Finder. Finder doesn't show image dimension info in preview column and Get Info window. But when I open in Preview app I can see dimensions in Get Info window. How to solve this problem. If I want to sort images by dimension, I can't do that. Because Finder doesn't know image dimensions. You can see images below.

If the Disk Utility sees it, you might be able to repair it or recover the data on it with a product such as DiskWarrior or Data Rescue.

If the drive is not showing in the list of bootable devices, you can be fairly certain that it has suffered a Hardware failure and will need to be replaced.

Photo dvd doesn't show

Hi all,
When I insert a photo cd or photo dvd it doesn't show on the Source list.
So I'm unable to see photo's on a photo cd or photo dvd without importing them first from Finder to iPhoto.
That sounds odd to me...

Photo CD's, like the kind Kodak creates from rolls of file, only show as a disk icon in the Source window and a large icon in the other window with the notification that it's ready to import. We have no previewing. It's the same with any data disk that was created with just image files on it.
The only disk that iPhoto can view photos on are those created by iPhoto itself. It's just the nature of the beast.

HT3910 Snow Leopard install DVD fail. Installer doesn't show up.

I had upgraded my Mac to 10.9 and i wanted a fresh start. So i erased the hard drive and then i tried to install Snow Leopard using the install DVD . I keep trying and nothing happens, the installer doesn't show up plus i can't see any startup disks. I tried remote install using a windows computer but nothing. Any suggestions?

Have you ever run 10.6 on that computer? If Internet Recovery gave you Lion, is that the OS your computer came with? If so, you can't shouldn't install Snow Leopard.
