DVD studio pro PAL to make NTSC disc

Question

I know there are some post on here but I have a PAL Project sat in DVDSP
made in PAL for here in blighty and I need to make a copy for the states,
Is there a simple button press to make a NTSC copy that I can send, or how do I do it?

You will need to make the PAL Assets NTSC (via Compressor or in FInal Cut) then use that in an NTSC project. (In other words there is no easy way to just press a button.)
There are a few approaches. Generally I will just use the original footage from Final Cut, export as self contained or reference movie and export in the codec, then convert to other version then make an m2v.
So, for instance, if the original is PAL HDV
1.) Export the PAL HDV as self contained
2.) Set up Compressor to make a NTSC HDV (tweak frame controls to better)
3.) Drop the PAL intro Compressor
4.) Take the NTSC and then make that m2v and AC3 in Compressor
There are other approaches, but this one has given good results with the tools at hand (not going for other plugins, etc.) and works fairly quickly once you get the hang of it. More so if you have a machine that can use virtual clusters...
