DVR shows 35% usage with no shows recorded. How to clear this?

I have deleted all recorded shows on my HD DVR but the usage still shows 35% space used. Is there a way to clear up all usage and make sure I have all the space needed to record shows? Is there a master reset that would do this? Thanks for any tips on this.

I have heard of a few other people who have had this type of issue. Here is the link to the thread. There are a couple different fixes suggested.

A calendar is not difficult nor does it take long once you know where the dates fall.
Start with a basic month template table.
1. Click on the table icon on the Toolbar to create a basic table for one month
2. Click on the resultant table > Inspector > Table > Headers & Footers > 2nd button > 1
3. Inspector > Table > Body Rows: 6 > Body Columns: 7
4. Inspector > Metrics > Size > Width: 7 cm/in > Height: 7 cm/in
You can drag resize the whole month to your liking afterwards
5. Select the entire header row > Inspector > Table > Edit Rows & Columns > Merge Cells > Type in a month
6. Type Mon in first cell & Tue in 2nd cell of of 2nd row > Select both cells and drag the white dot in the bottom right corner sideways to fill the cells with the days
7. Do the same with the dates in the cells below
8. You can fill the spare dates at the beginning and end of the month if you like and maybe change them to a paler grey.
9. Style and position the text as you like it.
10. If you don't want to see the grid or want different strokes, colors etc:
Inspector > Table > Cell Borders/Cell Backgrounds etc
When you have the first month looking the way you want, option drag out copies sideways to make the rest of the months.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)

Delivery with quantity order quantity: how to avoid this?

we need to implement a check that prevents creating a delivery with a quantity greater than that on the order. In customizing
( release 4.0B ) there is a flag at item category level ( field:
V_TVLP-UEBPR, check delivery in excess ) which can be useful at 50%. Indeed, if I manually create an additional item
in the delivery... then the system doesn't recognise that item
as belonging to the order... and the check in customizing fails
( the delivery is saved with a quantity that exceeds that on the order ). Is there a solution to this problem in customizing, or
do I need to work at programming level?

Hi Adriano,
Try using the option B in the 'Check Overdelivery field' for the quantity in the Delivery Item Category (TAN etc) in customizing (transactionn OVLP). .Following are the details in the SAP help documentation for this field:
Control for checking for overdelivery
    Specifies how the system reacts when, during delivery processing, you exceed the original order quantity.
Use
    For each delivery item category, you can specify whether the system checks for overdelivery and, if so, whether you receive a warning or error during delivery processing. If you have specified an overdelivery limit in the sales order or in the customer-material info record, you can use this indicator to control how the system reacts.

My new iPhone 4S can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi. Works with 3G network. How to fix this?

My new iPhone 4S (week old) can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi (and some other apps e.g. Hollister – but most of the other apps like Safari or ebay work fine). There is no problem with those apps loading via 3G network. When I turn off the wi-fi, it runs over 3G and i can access App store without any problem. When i turn off the 3G network and turn the Wi-Fi on, those apps like App Store won't work, other apps work fine. When i turn on both Wi-Fi and 3G, the App store (and so on) is also not working, other apps are.
I also found out that when the Wi-fi is on and I sign out my apple ID, the App store starts working! But when I log in again, it will imediatelly stop working. I've tried logging in with others apple IDs, still with the same result. There is no problem with my apple ID account, because it works on my iPad, even via Wi-Fi.
When i first set up my iPhone, there were no complications using App store ia Wi-fi with exactly the same account. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this problem started when i logged in with my UK account and then wanted to log back in with my Czech account.
I tried turning it off, hard reset and deleting my iPhone several time (even without back up). Nothing worked since then.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I would really appreciate ANY help. This porblem is driving me crazy!

Note that you can't define the parameters of your function like that, you have to specify the length of the varchar2 column in the calling code.
If your query is going to return potentially a large number of rows you should consider using a "pipelined" function, as already mentioned, as the non-pipelined version could be consuming a lot of memory in case a large collection is going to be generated.

Help with problem on db_recSegmentSettings_sysseg - how to disable this?

Hi,
Everyday I have this session with Module = emagent_SQL_oracle_database, SchemaName = DBSNMP, Action = db_recSegmentSettings_sysseg and Program = emagent.
This is causing a lot of problems on my database and is running for the whole day. Can anyone please advise if this can be disable somewhere and how?
Is this one of the Automated Maintenance Tasks?
Database = 11g and OEM Agent is 11 as well.

According to note: NON-SYSTEM DATA SEGMENTS IN SYSTEM TABLESPACES policy is firing for ORDDATA and APEX users [ID 1328174.1]
This is a policy check. As a workaround for your problem you could disable the policy "Checks for data segments owned by non-system users located in tablespaces SYSTEM and SYSAUX ".

When I got FF4, it said that extensions weren't compatible. The worst is Delicious. They are all gone. Either compatibilize them, or show me how to ditch this POS and get back to the old one...I don't like this beta AT ALL!

What details? FF made a new crummy beta, screwed up my tranquil and wonderful browsing environment, and now, like the big oil companies and the banks, are laughing at me. Browsers of the world, UNITE! We have nothing to lose but our bookmarks!

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Just show me how to get this new version of Itunes off my computer.

Ever since I downloaded this "update", I looks like itunes puked on my computer. I hate the way it looks, don't use the
"cloud". Spent some time in the 60's there and don't want to go back. Seems like just as soon as a person gets used
to using itunes, they change things. Man, its as bad as Gates Microsoft crap.

You can make the new iTunes look and feel much like v10 by using the following short cuts:
ALT shows the menu bar temorarily
CTRL+B show/hide menu bar
CTRL+S show/hide side bar
CTRL+/ show/hide status bar
To make search more like it was, click on magnifying glass in search bar and uncheck "search entire library"

How do I sync my calendar between iPhone and Mac on Mavericks? The postings I've seen so far are not showing me how to do this simple thing! Apple used to be easy to use - not so much any more

I am trying to sync my calendar between the mac and my iphone now that I have upgraded to Mavericks. I understand that I have to use iCloud (which I am not at all excited about) but I'll be damned if I can find out how to do it. I've read several postings in the community but they point me to broad troubleshooting pages and I can't find anything that simply tells me how to get my calendar into icloud to begin with and then how to sync. i was pretty happy syncing dircetly through itunes. I am feeling very sour about Apple right now.

Actually it is pretty easy to do through iCloud,
On your Mac(s)
System Preferences > iCloud
Be sure the services you want to sync through iCloud are checked
click on Account Details and be sure your Apple ID is correct
On your iPhone
Settings > iCloud
Account -- Verify the Apple ID is the same one you set in System Preferences on your Mac(s)
turn the services you want to sync throug iClound or ON. These should match the ones you set in System Preferences on your Mac
On your iPad
Settings > iCloud
Account -- Verify the Apple ID is the same one you set in System Preferences on your Mac(s)

That is literally all there is to it. The first sync will occur when your iPhone or iPad is plugged into power and on WiFi. After that any change made on one of the synched devices will appear on all of the other synched devices the first time they have an internet connection.
