How to make the Photo Gallery module responsive?

I am using Fondation and have a photo gallery on this page www.sunnysideinstantlawn.com.au/gallery made from the Photo Gallery Module in BC. How do I make it responsive?
I know there are alternatives out there using jquery but I would like to continue using the photo gallery module if possible.

How to make Web Photo Gallery with 3 columns of thumbnails?

Hi all
I have used web photo galery to build a few sites, but always with thumbnails in a single, vertical column, within a frame that scrolls. and i have never mch liked that scrollbar.
I have come across this page:

which, as i look at the code, may not even be using web photo gallery, but is very similar.

Manually coded the CSS. Used Photoshop to optimize images, watermark them and create thumbnails.
Used Dreamweaver to insert thumbnails, full-size images and caption text.
If you want software to do the heavy lifiting for you, look at jAlbum.

How to make existing Photo gallery module responsive?

I could not find any tutorials how to change the existing photo gallery module so it would be responsive. Is there a solution already?

CSS - Every element has a default display type but every element can have its block level changed.
A span is an inline element but you can turn it into a block level element. A table element is a table or table cell display type but you can turn it into block level. This is all CSS2/1 stuff so cross browser compatible (but if your doing media queries and responsive the old browsers are not considered anyway) and very straight forward.

Whats the best way to make a photo gallery?

Hi there, im still building my first website and was wondering if you guys had any advice on building a gallery for about 40-50 photos. All apprearing as thumbnails then once you click they enlarge.

Just has a couple more questions as im still struggling to get this right.
In jalbum when i am given the option to save gallery, do i save it in my root folder public_html?
jalbum gives me the option to upload my album to the rayoga site. When i do this it asks for the location it would
like the album uploaded to. Previously i have chosen the gallery folder, when i do this it gives me an example of what
my url will be (www.rayoga.co.uk/gallery). Then when i view the gallery after uploading it, my template is gone and all i
see is the gallery as it appears in jalbum, none of my dreamweaver stuff is there.
So far i have 3 different location where things are happening for the gallery
1.My gallery index.html in dreamweaver where my template is and the code -

2.My root folder has the file gallery.***
3.And the sever has the jalbum directly uploaded to it from jalbum
Im really struggling with this and just dont know what to do anymore.

script/code to paste in. =0)

Photo gallery in DW CS3

Can someone tell me how to make a photo gallery in DW CS3? I
mean a site with thumbnails that are linked to larger images,
preferably all thumbnails on one site, not the filmstrip system. I
read that there would be a gallery option in DW, but I cannot find

Photo gallery with buttons and php.

I am relatively new to actions script, very new to as3, and brand new to php. I have tried very hard to figure all of this out via tutorials, studying the code, etc but now I'm running out of time to get this done so I need some help.
I am trying to make a photo gallery that functions as follows:
-the php gathers all of the filenames from a folder and returns it to flash
-an array of buttons is loaded onto the stage (one for each photo)
-flash then loads the first image into a movie clip.
-when the user clicks on button[i], image[i] loads in the movie clip.
-i also plan to incorporate what might happen if the number of photos exceeds the number of buttons that can fit nicely on the stage, like an arrow to go to another set of buttons. I haven't tried coding this yet since I was just trying to get the thing to work in general first. If anyone has ideas about this, let me know.
Please don't make fun of me too much. I know it's probably a mess.

As for AS3 part of it, I am not sure your code really works. There are syntax and logical errors there.
I think you need to take it step by step and accomplish several task in the following sequences:
1. Write code that loads XML correctly;
2. Write code that enables buttons;
3. Write code that will load images on button clicks.
The code below shows in principal what needs to be done in order to load XML and make the data in this XML available for further consumption. Also, by accomplishing this step you will iron out all the PHP vs Flash wrinkles including your XML.
Please note, I don't know your XML structure so all the parsing issues you need to resolve yourself.
Once you get handle on it - we, hopefully, will talk about steps 2 and 3.

Photo Gallery/Slideshow Components

I am looking to make a photo gallery and want my images to be
pulled from a folder on my webserver. Does anyone know how to do
this either by a movie clip and script or by some type of
components plug-in that works well.
I am using Flash Pro 8 and really want to put together and
nice well working photogallery with multiple images but don't want
to embed them into the flash file for file size reasons.
Any help or general information would be a huge help. Thanks.

Look at the Cafe Townsend example that you can find on the
Adobe site. Choose the Tutorial: Developing a Web Application from
the DreamWeaver Live Docs site (

You don't need DreamWeaver to download the files and the
flash_fma.fla file in the example site's root does what I think
you're asking.

Photo gallery navigation Master/Detail

I am trying to make a photo gallery with Master/Detail pages
in one - which is working up to a point.
I have 2 recordsets:
- A: one with all records which displays thumbnail icons in a
horizontal looper.
- B: another with a single url-parsed value.
With the help of Tom Muck's Detail Page Navigation Suite, I
can have First/Prev?Next?Last navigation set to the recordset B
and I can have the full set of thumbs with links to the
correct pic.
What I can't figure out is how to get the thumbnail icons to
have a 'Down' state based on the URL variable. I have tried onload
image swaps based on the dynamic id of the thumbnail images, to no
avail.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

what code are you using that's failing? copy and paste only the relevant code, not all the code used in your app.

Photo gallery / slideshow component using rss

hi.. i was wondering if anyone can throw some light on this
issue. i am thinking abt making a simple flash gallery / slideshow
that will get info from an rss feed (either from flickr or a
customized Gallery2.0 feed). there is already one at
www.afcomponents.com, but their support is slow and the product
layout is not customizable.
so, does anyone know if another such component? or even
better, a script that i can work on myself? any thoughts, comments
and ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I've done a bunch of similar galleries. Are you familiar with
xml in Flash
at all? The easiest way is to create an empty movie symbol on
your stage
and give it an instance name (placeHolder) for example.
Create an xml file
with a list of your image names, and then use loadMovie to
load the first
node's image into your placeHolder movie symbol. Then all you
need to do
is create a var you can increment to load the 2nd image, 3rd
image, 4th image
etc. I can send you a sample if you want.
That said, I've also used this product and for the low price
it is pretty
